Elemental Gimmick Gear: Clay's Questions Guide Written by Serg-D (dinnovator@hotmail.com) Version 1.0 1.0: First official posting of this Guide with answers to all questions. Hopefully, they are right... Why did I make this guide? By far, "EGG" is one of the finest and most challenging DC games out there. Besides the ultra-hard puzzles, you also get contests like battling Luckie's Justice Horn or playing the TRAIL/RACE mini-games (you get to play them if you donate enough money to Buz and they are located in the pipe near the EGG-driving Wald by Egg Spinning inside it. Bonus hint!) But one of the most frustrating games for players is the mini-quizzes dished out by Old Man Clay. The reason it is so hard is that the screen scrolls by quickly, making it hard to grasp every part of each story he tells. This is what this handy-dandy guide is here for. After hours of gameplay, I finally found every single answer to Clay's questions, which are given below. This is not your usual guide for I have not placed the original questions, but instead I have placed a complete sentence giving out the proper answer. To not confuse, I divided the answer group pertaining to the specific story Clay relates to. REMEMBERING FRIEND -Friend's occupation was Adventurer. -Friend was Lazy. -Friend didn't Wash & Clean. -Clay's nickname is unknown. Final Notes As of now, I'm still figuring out the probabilities of getting a capsule or a Gabaro gift from Clay for answering all the 6 questions per quiz. First time I played it, the most capsules I recieved was one of each kind (Attack, Defense & Mind). But second time I played it (as in restarting the entire game from scratch) I got 2 Defense Capsules and 1 single Attack capsule. All in all, if you wish to make easy Gabaros without fighting monsters or shelling them out in the TRIAL/RACE mini-games, paying Clay a visit is worth it. So far, I have recieved gifts ranging from 23 to 50 Gabaros. Sounds like not a lot? Well if you are low on Energy Points and Gabaros alike to reenergize at Herb's, you will think twice on Clay's quizzes. Well, I'll go back & replay to see what other things I find. Catch you all later! The Credits SEGA & Dreamcast: Good system and worth each dollar I spend. HudsonSoft & VATICAL: Created one of the best games I ever played. My ever loyal pad & pencil: Without these two, I wouldn't have even created this guide without crossing out rejected answers to each question as I recieved them. GameFAQs: I know..I know...Why the credit? For other games I own or played, this is the best place for walkthroughs, guides, codes & hints I ever been to. Kudos to them.
