Changed the format of the maps a bit. If you've ever played shadowgate, then you'll be familiar with the style of play that sword of hope 2 contains with more rpg elements involved. Tips: - Look/Hit almost anything and everything, you never know what you'll find. Make sure to hit/look more than once, sometimes things will give more than one item. - Buy better eq as fast as you can at the beginning of the game or you'll die a LOT. - Before you lose a party member, unequip them so you can sell their stuff. Equipment is not cheap in this game. - Fortify and Empower are some of the best spells available. Discover the the evil fiend has escaped 5. Find wounded people after you visit (4) 6. Find a man who tells that there is a passage behind the waterfall. Muse appears. 7. Look at the shard and a monster will steal it. Muse joins the party. 8. Get the mushroom to use later 2. Hit the trent tree to get fruit of trent 3. Use fishing pole here to catch fish 4a. Get the honey by hitting the tree 4b. Feed the bear honey to get the fishing pole 5. Run into Creeper, Bogi joins the party (you have to look around) 6. Woodcutter chops down tree to reveal path to Winder Castle * Save the fruit of trent (you can get 3), until near the end of the game. Bring the sword of wind to get the key 8. Get the oil 9. Get the sword from the statue after king winder tells you to get it 10. Use the key to open the door. Beware - the old woman appears and turns into a monster 11. Sword of Earth 9. Dragon - use Dragon Horn to summon it. When defeated, get the fire shard and dragon scale. Bogi leaves the party. 10. Hit the ashes then look to get the veil. Look at the tree 2. There is a red stone, avoid them! They cause 1 damage to your party for each step you take. 3. Fall down onto the spikes 4. Find a blue stone - take it. You'll need them later. 5. Pull the plug from the pond. It opens the door in the pond on the tree. * I've heard that the stones might be randomly placed. If that's true, just avoid the red ones and grab the blue ones as usual. Put the blue stones into the wall so that you can go to other floors 2. Sword of Sky 3. Open the trap door to get back outside 4. Statue - hit it to open the wings 5. A Secret passage opens after the three statues have been activated 6. Get the family crest off the statue after killing the boss on the 4th floor 7. To get up to the fourth floor, use the right vine. Use the middle vine to drop into the garden. 8. Use the left vine to go down to floor 3 9. Fight the monster Red Eye then get the Family Crest. Put the crest into the wall to deactivate the force field 10. Get the Hishoseki (needed for airship) ********************************************************** Skuner Island ============= Enemies: Specter * After finishing nekojara and nuku islands, go sailing. Avoid the octopus in the vase. It will blind you. To cure it, exit the cave. 2. Shard of water, can only be gotten after killing Kraken. It will form with the other shards to create the worldstone and you can now get the airship. 3. Look at the water. Hit the shadow to fight Kraken and calm the waters. ********************************************************** Zakdos Castle ============= Enemies: Metal Mimic, Metal Knight, Killer Animal, Lich, Griffin, Durahan, Bone Gloom * Before entering zakdos castle, be sure to have the Exit, Fortify, and Empower spells. Also be sure to have over 100 HP. Use the bell of water to open the door 2. The door will shut after you go through 3. Hit the bars to open the prison 4. Teleportation treasure chest between 1st and 4th floors 5. Avoid hitting the button! 6. Fight the Demos and then activate the switch (there's 3 of em) 7. There are twin arrows on the floor. By stepping in the room, the 4th floor will change into 1 of 2 configurations. One will let you get to the 5th floor 8. Fight the Beast Knight 9. Fight the Shell Dragon then use the Bell of Water 10. Fight Zakdos (he has 3 forms) - try to keep Theo healed up ********************************************************** The Dark Dragon =============== With the sword of hope in hand, Theo rushes back to defeat the dark dragon. * You're left with only Theo to fight the dragon. He has the same hp/mp he had after the fight with zakdos. * This is another battle where fortify can save your life. If you haven't used all your fruit of trent by now, now would be a good time. Sit back and enjoy the ending :)
