FAQ _________________________________________________________________________ It seems that all of the questions I receive rotate around either the Fire Dragon, the Woodcutter Code, or the Demos Brothers. Where is the Tritrium? From the Fire Dragon, head down and right, but not farther right than where you got the Veil. In a room where there is nothing but a wall and no lava, Open the wall to see if there is Tritrium inside. Check inside all the walls and eventually you will find it in that area. How do I get into Zakdos's room? First you mist hit all three switches in the Demos Brothers' rooms. Then make sure the warp to the right of study room is activated (or it may be the other). Now go into the study, head in a southwestern direction, and eventually you will come to a bridge which will be lowered if you pressed all three switches. Head up from there to Zakdos. What do I do with the Fish? That is currently unknown, and since no one will take it and you cannot eat it as far as I know, I believe the fish may be a false product of the Fishing Pole. Where is the room above the prison cell in Zakdos's Castle? This is located somewhere on the third floor. Somewhere you can push a button, gas will swirl around you, and you will fall through a vent into the prison on the first floor. You can escape the prison by pulling out the bars with the "Open" command. In Zakdos's Castle, there is a prison cell with a vent way up high. How do I reach the vent? There is currently no way to do this, you can only fall through the vent to the prison below. How do I get the octopus trap? You can view the octopus trap by looking around the home of the Fisherman on the beach of Bon. Currently, I do not know of a way to obtain this item, and it was just a theory of mine that it could be used to avert the octopus in the pot in the Undersea Cave, perhaps instead gaining a treasure or something. Where are the Fish Fossil and Lizard Tail? The Lizard Tail is located on the first floor of the Nekojara Volcano, either on the right or left part. The Fish Fossil is located in the very southeastern part of the second floor of the Nekojara Volcano on the right side. Both can be obtained by using the "Open" command on the wall of the volcano that you are viewing. Where is the Tree of Trent? The Tree of Trent can be located by either taking a ride on the Turtle from the lake and going left once or teleporting to Rod's Woods and going south once and then west once. Here, look at the trees and you will identify a Tree of Trent. Next, look at the Tree of Trent. Now, hit it three times to receive three Fruits of Trent. This is the only place in the game as far as I know where you can obtain Fruits of Trent. Where is the third Blue Stone? In this specific instance, the Blue Stone missed here was the one located in the twinings of tree. Look at the tree if you are on the middle branch and you may find it. Other include inside piles of debris in the Ruins and in a bird's nest on a western branch of the tree. Where are the second and third Demos Brothers? The second Demos brother can be found on the third floor. He is either just to the right of the staircase from the first floor or in the western area of that floor. The third Demos brother can be found by warping to the fourth floor from the large treasure box on the northwestern part of the first floor. Simply go right from where you end up the face off against him. How do I find the bridge in Zakdos's Castle if I have already pressed the first and third buttons? Well first, you need to press the second button before the bridge comes down for you to travel across. That information can be found under the question for the second Demos Brother. Next, go to the top floor and trip the switch on the eastern side. Go left and/or down until you reach the Study. Next, head left and/or down until you reach the bridge. Now have fun clashing with the final bosses! Is the code of hitting the Woodcutter with the Knife and getting all magic true? Alright, this is one of my most common questions. First off, I had no idea what people were talking about someone told me that it was Sword of Hope I, not II. And I have never played Sword of Hope I, so I cannot confirm nor deny it, and it definitely does not exist on Sword of Hope II, so stop trying it if you are. Where are the Blue Stones on Nuku Island? The Blue Stones and the Red Stones (do not take the Red Stones) are placed in random locations I believe. This means that they are in the same basic spots, but which stone you will receive varies. Search all the branches of the Tree and every nook and cranny of the Ruins. One can be found in a bird's nest on the west part of the tree, one encased in the tree's twinings, and another in a heap of rock in a Ruin. Where is the second Demos Brother? The second Demos Brother would be located to the west of the entrance to the third floor from the first floor. Do not forget to push the button behind him after you defeat him. The first is on the second floor and the third is to the east of the warping treasure box on the fourth floor. Where is the Dragon Scale? After defeating the Fire Dragon, Bogi will be consumed, but manages to throw you two items, the Shard of Fire and the Dragon Scale. Take it to the Blacksmith on Farb Island and sell it to him, then head over to the shop next door for the new Dragon Armor and Dragon Shield, which each have the best defense ratings for their respective types of equipment. Why does the Fire Dragon knock me back 3 spaces? The details will be a little sketchy because it sure has been a while, but anyway you should search the area around there for stuff like the Sword of Earth and Tritrium, and I believe the space you want is near the Tritrium. There will be a wall in front of you and a hole. Go into the hole, it should look like ash is around you, and then Look around. Then Hit around a few times and it will say you felt something. Look around again and you will find the Veil which protects you from the Fire Dragon's blast and allows you to fight him. Why does the Fire Dragon knock me back 3 spaces even though I have the Cooling Cloak? Well ok, first off the Cooling Cloak is one of those un-equippable items that does something. In this case, it allows you to reach the lowest level of the Nekojara Volcano. The item you need is the Veil, which can be found east of the entrance to that floor, or about south-east from where the Tritrium was. The biggest clue will be you will see a wall with a hole on the floor, somewhat resemblent of the first floor of the Volcano. Anyway, next enter the Hole after Looking, then Look around, Hit a few times, and then Look again after it said that you touched/felt something. The Fire Dragon can no longer push you back 3 spaces, since the Veil will deflect it. 4. Basic Tips _________________________________________________________________________ Constantly Look and Hit stuff, especially trees. If you see Bonk, then you will not get anything. If you see Thud, then you probably have found something! After about five tries, the thing you are hitting or looking at will no longer give you an item regardless. Look and Hit stuff, because just doing one will not get both items. Do not take the Red Stones on Nuku Island, they will cause you to lose HP. The Tritrium is somewhere east of the Fire Dragon's lair in the Nekojara Volcano in a wall. Before a character leaves you, take all of their stuff off so you can sell it later. Use the Pliers on the shells in the Pixies' Cave to find Gem Stones. In the eastern part of Rod's Village, knock down the Bee Hive to receive some Honey. Go northwest to find a Bear. Give him the Honey to receive a Fishing Pole. You can use this to catch Fish at the nearby streams, but here the chain seems to end. In my opinion, the best armor and shield is the Speed Armor and Speed Shield. The ultimate spell in the game is Empower/Enfeeble or Fortify/Weaken. Cast it and you cannot lose! This works incredibly well against the final bosses. Atomize is nice but simply does not have that kind of firepower. In the Bon Casino, wait until the numbers flash by the 8, and then right afterward, the 6. Each of these numbers are in the second row from the top. Wait for the next time the flashing light starts to go through the cycle, and then hit the button quickly after the flashing light leaves the second row from the bottom. If you hit it at just the right time, you will receive a Cane of Destruction! If you hit it too early, you will receive a Cane of Lightning, and a Cane of Frost if you are too late. Timing and learning the pattern is everything. No matter what though, this is the #1 way to make some quick and easy money. The Comfort equipment is a joke, do not buy/equip it! The Fruit of Trent can be found by hitting the Trent Tree after talking to it. It is located one section to the north and west of the entrance to Rod's Woods. To my knowledge that is the only way to gain a Fruit of Trent, save it for right before your battle with Zakdos. You can gain a total of three Fruit of Trent at the Trent Tree. Some walls can be knocked down in the Underground Temple Desert to make secret passageways. Try sprinkling Jaghi's Ashes on all three of the statues too. Hit the stains on the wall in the Ancient Temple to fight a Ghost for an Herb or Wheat. The Miracle Sword increases the chance of a critical hit for you, but also the chances of a mortal blow for the enemies you face. You can give the mushrooms you pick in Rod's Woods to the fisherman at the beach for generic hints. The maximum level in the game is 32, once you reach that level, it says that you can gain the next level after receiving an infinite amount of experience points. One mystery is what to do with the Lizard Tail, Fish Fossil, Fish, and if there is a way to deter the octopus in the jar in the Underwater Cave with a octopus trap from the Old Man on the beach. 6.
