I like to put it on the top because I figure that the faster you get the boring parts done, the more relaxed you would feel when you are reading this FAQ, so without further a due, here it comes. This FAQ is a Copyright Of Tony J. Tso(ChaosDemon). Some information that appears in this FAQ is a copyright of their respected owners. All Rights Reserved. If you are interested in using this FAQ on your website or webpage, please email me at: vampiro_07@hotmail.nospam.com, you would have to remove the "nospam" to email me. Once those sites had be approved, you will find the list here. And if you use it without permission, I will not hesitate to act Legally. And one more thing, if your site is a money-making website, don't even email me, because I already own a website, and I recieve more emails than I can reply to. Now that we got all that out of the way, let's begin! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART II: Version History ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 11/12/01 11:02 AM PST-Whatcha know? The FAQ is completed, no more revisions from this day, I would personally like to thank everybody on(or have been) on the GameFAQs Magi-Nation Board. When I was rookie, I recieved a lot of help from all whizkid, and a lot of others I can't remember. But look at this, almost a year have been put into this FAQ and I'm happy to leave you with a finished one. I'll see y'all on Magi-Nation 2: Keeper's Quest!!! 11/11/11 9:06 PM PST-New ASCII Logo for your enjoyment!!! Tell me do you like the old one better or the new one, and this one it took FOREVER I mean FOREVER to complete it. 11/9/01 4:30 PM PST-Well, this may very well be the second-final version of the FAQ, since I haven't been getting any more Magi-Nation Q & A questions lately(or not as many.) Added the CONTACTING section so all y'all will know how to contact me. I've also started a Super Metroid FAQ and that's what I'm currently workin' on. The final version of the FAQ could come on the weekend. And Remembrance day is comin' up, and we're wearin' poppies here in Canada. That's all the news for now, check back soon! Later. 09/01/01 2:17 PM PST-Nothing much of a big update, just reformated the top portion of this FAQ. Added two questions to Magi Nation Q & A, feel free to drop _your_ question to vamprio_07@hotmail.com Oh yeah, some "person" had be signing me up to weird lists. And I want that to stop or otherwise I'll change my email and take it off the net for good. I'll try and keep this guide going. One more thing, someone emailed me the location of the Shooting game involving Wence's Arrow. I'll also make a seperate FAQ for the Gameshark codes, including all the codes, not just the ones that work for me. Also added the section for who's using my guide on their site right now. 07/15/01 1:49 PM PST -Ok let's see, someone emailed me telling what's the cause of hiccups. He never left his name or anything. And also, anymore email regarding the Gameshark Codes will not be answered. Steven Grudland, are you listening? Anyways, I did try to email you back Steve, but I got an error message telling me that your email can not be found. Oh yeah, I also added the Shadow Hold Full Version! Done by Evil. Once I get there in my thirty-first play through of the game, I'll add my own walkthrough for it. Oh yeah, SSj472 aka Dan, has told the world how to get DualSummon! Agram's move. Read the DualSummon section to learn how! It is now the end of the Walkthrough. Since the Shadow Hold and Agram Strategy is finally up, it has reached to it's timely end. 07/12/01 10:56 AM PST-Added Mini-Games Section. My Keyboard's Left Arrow key is currently broken so I have to use Shift+Num Pad 4 to use Left. It's really hard to handle, going down to Future Shop later today or tomorrow. One more thing, the Mini-Games Section is right before Magi-Nation Q & A, this means, when you're scrolling down to that section, look either under or ontop of Magi-Nation Q & A. "May the Crease Be with you"-TJ 07/02/01 6:31:41 PM PST-Added a couple of questions to Magi-Nation Q & A. Today I FINALLY caught the Hylian Loach! It took me 3 damn years! I finally caught it! I worked my butt off. I actually found an easier way to capture it! After the first time I caught it, I caught two more times! May the Crease be with you. 06/29/01 9:05:35 PM PST-Added a Relics Section and a Dream Creatures section I also discovered today, that there is such thing as getting your Dream Creature Confused. I was Fighing Safaly with my Chaos Jile and then after that there was a huge question mark ontop of him. I think it was the Shadow Veil, because that was the only difference in my Chaos Jile. Also added a new question, on how to get around Confusion. 06/27/01 4:50 PM PST-Done on Agram Walkthrough, tight on time bye! 06/24/01 11:21 PM PST-I got some Gameshark Codes, for your enjoyment, but NONE of them were hacked by me. They are hacked from many great hackers. Unfournetly, I can't seem to find the Infinite Money Code! It's really starting to tick me off! I've been working on it for like months! I also added an ASCII Magi-Nation logo, tell me what ya think!(The G is kind of weird) 06/24/01 12:47:43 PM PST-Working on Agram, because I just beat him and now I'm in my Secret Start File, also I did the WHOLE Second Shadow Geyser ALL over again because I just played it over! 06/23/01 9:35:21 AM PST-Fifth Shadow Geyser just about done, someone on the GameFAQs Message Boards suggested I should put some Tips and Tricks, so I'm looking into that right now. 06/19/01 7:03:45 PM PST-Got a LOT of walkthrough done! It might even be finished soon! Well Finished upto the 4th Shadow Geyser, but I didn't write Warrada strategy, I just can't seem to remember her Dream Creatures names!!! 06/18/01 11:52 PM PST-The birth of this FAQ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART III: What is Magi-Nation? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Magi-Nation is both a card playing game, and a Gameboy Color Game. It all started with the TCG(Trading Card Game). And it eventually made it to this 5 Star Video Game. Playing as Tony Jones, you explore 5 different worlds, while stoping some Shadow Geysers, and making new friends on the way. To stop Agram's army of evil Shadow Magi, you must summon powerful Dream Creatures and use their well diverse, array of moves. With over 80 Dream Creatures to find and capture, this game could keep you busy for some time, but with the walkthrough I'm providing, it might help you get through a bit more easier, but I do encourage you to explore some areas yourself, and only refer to this FAQ when you are really in trouble. Let's meet the cast of Characters, shall we? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART IV: The Main Characters ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's the cast of Characters in Magi-Nation. Tony Jones: This is the character that you control, and he is the "Universal Magi". You must play as Tony Jones and explore every world as this powerful Magi. Eidon: He is the dude that intorduces you to the Elder of Vash Naroom. He plays a major role in the game. Orwin: The elder of Vash Naroom, by trying to enter the Shadow Geyser, it nearly costed him his life. Gia: The women that never opens her eyes, she gives the Core Glyph that allows to enter Shadow Geysers. Motash: Elder of the Underneath, soon gets turned into a worm-like creature by Morag. Gruk: She's not that important, but her house got destroyed by the Shadow Geyser. =) Blu: He teaches you how to swim and is very friendly torwards almost every- body. Korg: The biggest nut-case in the entire game, he really has to learn how to control his Dream Creatures. =) Zet: Korg's right-hand "person" and he is VERY Powerful, it's just that no one really noticed it -- but you soon will... Morag, the Excutor: The most dangerous Magi in the game, he killed alot of people. Agram: The boss of all the Shadow Magi, he is really powerful. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART V: How to use your Dream Creatures ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To play the game, you must know how to summon your Dream Creatures. When you enage into a battle against a Dream Creature, you'll have five options to choose from. Summon, Focus, Spell, Item and Run. To Summon a Dream Creature, choose Summon, and you will be able to choose a Dream Creature to Summon, BUT, yes, theres always a BUT in good things. To summon a Dream Creature, you must have enough Energy to Summon it. To find out how much Energy you have, look beside the Summon option. To be able use a Dream Creature in battle, you must get it's Ring. You could do that by battling the Dream Creature a bunch of times to win it's Infused Animite. Once you got enough Animite for one Dream Creature, you could use it in battle! Your Dream Creature could learn a maxium of four moves. And it usaully could learn four moves, no more than that. To Fight with your Dream Creature, on the menu with five options,(Summon, Focus, Spell, Item and Run) choose Focus, once you done that, you would be taken to your Dream Creatures' move set. Choose any move you desire, but in order to use your moves, your Dream Creature must have enough Energy to use it. But Fight, doesn't take any energy at all to use. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART VI: Walkthrough ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to the Walkthrough section! I hope I can help you through the game as easy as possible, but I already passed everything a long time ago, so I'll have try to remember everything up to the 3rd Geyser. ------------------ Walkthrough Key ------------------ *: If you see this symbol beside a Dream Creature, it means that it is recommended for you to add to your Team. **: If you see this anywhere, it means that it is highly recommended. ***: If you see this beside a Dream Creature, it means that it is EXTREAMLY recommended. Well here goes! ---------------- Tavel Gorge Cave ---------------- From the begining, keep going north and just keep going north until you see a path for you to go right. Do that, and you'll soon come to a part with twochoices, up and down, you could go either way, it won't matter. Once you get around, you soon come to another section with two choices: right and down, choose right, and keep going right until you hit the Cave's Wall, and at that point, keep going up, and then down and you should come to another section with two choices: right and down, choose right and then up and you should find the Crystal! Get it, and at this point, even though Tony suggests that you should get out of here, just stay, you can't escape. ---------- River Bank ---------- After the whole seen with Korg, Zet and Eidon, just follow him go up and left, there's really no chance of messing up, so I won't go into that much detail. You'll eventually make it to Eidon, at this point he'll bring you to Vash Naroom. ----------- Vash Naroom ----------- Once Eidon opens up the stairs, just follow him and keep going up the many set of stairs, it's quite a long way, maybe about 1-3 minutes. But once you get up to Vash Naroom, keep going up on the stairs until you reach The Town Square, and find the little square with the Red Soldier in the middle. And behind him, there are two set of stairs, choose the one on your right and go up, then keep going right until you see another set of stairs(it does end!) goto them and right until you see a door, go in and you would find Eidon in there with Orwin. Once they are done talking to you, go back down to the Town's Square. And from there, just keep going down the flight of stairs -- but stop after the second set, instead keep going right until you find a set of doors, one's open and the other is closed. Go in the open one. Once in there talk to Pruitt, the Ringsmith. And at the options choose Forge, she'll help you make a Furok Ring for FREE today, but if you want more Dream Creatures, you'll have to pay for them next time. After you had your Ring forged, keep going left until you get to the other side with the an Item Shop, beside that though, you'll find a tube, with a picture of a bed with some moons and stars. Go in there and talk to the man in there, this is where you Save your game and recover lost Energy. Once you talk to him, he'll give you a bag of Jelly-Beans. It's time to head back to the Towns Square -- but before you do that, goto the fire place to find yourself a Remedy Drink. Go back to Evu, on the very left of the Town's Square. And give him the Jelly-Beans and he'll tell you what you need to know. Including a Spell! And now it's time to get out of Vash Naroom. You will soon see Orwin talk to Eidon and give him some instructions not to take you out of the town, but Eidon will take you out anyways, and know it's time to meet...(stutter)Yaki... Once you learned everything you need to know, talk to Eidon, and then you'll leave -- but suddenly, the town get's hit by an earthquake. Orwin heads to the Glade, where the earthquake took place, it's time for you to go there, too. To get there, get out of the town and go right from Vash Naroom. ----- Glade ----- Dream Creatures found: Weebo Furok** Twee Bhatar Plith To find Orwin, just follow the brick road! No kidding, all you have to do is follow the brick road that is in the Glade. It is also a great place to train your Dream Creature or Dream Creatures, to a higher level, because the battles get harder -- faster than you think. Try to raise one of your Dream Creatures' levels, but it's best to raise the both of them. Once you do find Orwin at the very end of the brick road(no kidding!), you would also find the weirdos in the beginnning of the game. But this time you understand what they are saying, so it's much better -- but they are, after all, still...we- ll...weirdos...=) They are trying to gang up on Orwin, but he will soon vanish. But one of the two "gangsters" will challenge to a duel, it's won't be hard, you'll finish him off pretty fast. -------- Stranger -------- Dream Creatures Summoned: Vile Yogu Spells casted: none Energy(estimated): less than 10(after summoning) Dream Creatures Recommended: Anyone is fine Moves: Any Move is also fine! How to beat him: All you have to do is Summon one Dream Creature, and use either Fight of any other move to finish him off. If your Energy get's low, use a healing Item(Baloo Leaf/Sap/Root). Once you win, Orwin will reappear, tells you that the cause of the earth- quake is because of this Shadow Geyser, and he asks...no, TELLS you to stop this Shadow Geyser. At the end of his speech, he'll give you Bracelet that will help kick some squared rocks to allow you to go further. Orwin is sick, and in order to cure him you must find something. When you visit him in his house in Vash Naroom, he tells you to visit someone called the "Seer" in the Northern Shore. ---------- The Seer's ---------- Dream Creatures found: Weebo Rudwot Plith Vinoc Spells found: Grow Once you get there, you notice that you are blocked off by some stuff, the squared one(that's shaped like a box) can be kicked out of the way with your new found Bracelet, do that and continue on going North. After you done this, just get to the Seer's house, it's, like the River, is very easy to get there. Once you do, you'll find a Treasure Chest, open it, you'll soon find out that someone booby-trapped it. Someone soons appears and he Tony tells him that Orwin is sick, the Seer will now go to Vash Naroom to visit Orwin. Return here later to pick up Grow, the Spell. ----------- Vash Naroom ----------- The Seer will tell you that you would need an Item called the "Cloud Frond" to heal Orwin. You shouldn't go back to the Seer's house for any tips, it isn't useful. It's now time to visit the Weave. ------ Forest ------ Dream Creatures found: Rabbage Arboll Rudwot Plith Treebit Weebo Leaf Chogo From the Begining, you be imediatly be blocked off by some blocks. Kick the one that is the only "kickable" then go up and kick the block on your left. You could come back here for some Relics after. After this, just keep going left until you see a path for to go South, do that. ---------- Weave Path ---------- Dream Creatures found: Weebo Vinoc Bhatar Wasperine* Rudwot From the start just go down, then right and keep going down, just focus on going down and ignore everything and anything that you come accross. Just keep going until you find a set of blocks. Kick the one on top of every block right, and then the one on the right, right, and now you should be able to contiune. Just continue down, and accross the bridge, and go left. You should see a long row of blocks. Kick anyone of them left and you should be able to go on. At sometime this point, you'll get tauted by an old women. Just ignore her and keep going left, accross the bridge, and now keep going down until you get go anymore at this point keep going left until you can't go left anymore and from there, go down to the World Map of the Weave. ----- Weave ----- At the world map go down until you see a cottage and a windmill, go into the cottage to find Eidon there. It seems that Eidon was working for a woman named "Gia" he tells you that you need to go in and meet Gia. Go in the cot- tage when you do go in, you discover that Gia is actually the woman that harassed you back in the Weave Path. After she done her talking, she will give you the Core Clyph, this is the item that Orwin was missing so he coul- dn't enter the Shadow Geyser. So with that in mind, maybe it's time to enter the Shadow Geyser. --------------- Shadow Geyser 1 --------------- Dream Creatures found: Black Agovo Shadow Vinoc Hook Wing Vile Yogu Koil There are really no difference from everyday walking and Shadow Geyser slayi ng, except, the battles in Shadow Geysers are random. Except for that, there really aren't any difference. It's a regular place. Before you enter the Geyser, make sure Tony is at LEAST level 10, when I was fighting him, Tony was at level 16. So it's now time to start the Geyser. From the begining of the Geyser, go up until you see a path leading to the left, go left and keep doing so until you come to a section that gives you two choices; up and down, take the passage that goes up, and then look around the wall, you should see a lever, pull it. And after you pulled it, you should see a wall crumble. From the lever go left and then down and after that go right, and then up and you should see another lever, pull this one too. And once you have done that, go back down and then left, this time you should be able to continue to go left, do that and keep going left until you could go up. Go up until you get to this point with two choices; left and right. Choose right, and keep going right, but...you got blocked off! Hit the nearby switch, but it doesn't make the wall crumble. At this point, keep going left until you get back to the point with two choices, but this time go up, by pressing the switch back there, you crumbled this wall! Anyways, once you made it up there, just press the switch. And now go down and to the section with two choices again,(left and right) go back to the wall that blocked you off and now go up and then left, then down and left(IG NORE THE PASSAGE GOING UP!!!) and just keep going left, then up and after that go left and keep going left until you made it to another wall. On the wall, there's a bone, talk to it(press A) to pick out the bone. After you did this, keep going right and then down and right until you see a passage going up, go up there and then pull the lever there. After this go back down and left and then up and keep going left and now the wall with the bone has been crumbled, keep going up and you will see a red circular stone, press A on it. And now it's time for your first offcial Magi battle. Allow me to introduce you to Togoth -- and he doesn't like you. ------------------- Core Keeper: Togoth ------------------- Dream Creatures Summoned: Shadow Vinoc Koil Black Agovo Spells Casted: Grow Fireball How to defeat him: This dude is NOT to friendly, even though it's your first battle, he won't go easy on you. Try to summon SLOW because both his Koil and Shadow Vinoc have this MEAN attack called, well...Coil, this will slow down your Dream Creature by...20!!! So you should lead with Furok or Bhatar or someone like that so Coil wouldn't hurt you. Use Grow to bulk up your Dream Creatures, and then use Scratch, Fang and Punch. To deal alot of damage, when he gets 3-4 Dream Creatures out, taking him down could get hard. So elimanate his Dream Creatures as FAST as possible!!! If your Dream Creatures get "Colied" don't bother using Remeady Drink, he'll just use it again! Once you do get is Dream Creatures elimanted, all you have to do is attack him. He'll try to Cast Fireball at your Dream Creatures, but at this point it isn't that hard to take him out. Once you defeat Togoth, go look around the area where the Shadow Geyser used to be. You should see a cave, search around the cave for a Treasure chest with some weird item in there, just don't ask questions, and return to Gia alright? Anyways, when you get back to Gia, she'll tell you that Eidon can turn your item into a pair of digging gloves. Go outside and talk to Eidon, it'll take along time to make your Gloves. I mean after he makes it, the game has to program it into your game. Once you got your gloves, get out of Gia's cottage and head into the grey structer north of Gia's cottage. ------- Tunnels ------- Dream Creatures Found: Gum Gum Brub Vulbor Porkuslime Weebat Tusk Bwisp** Bisiwog Ghost Bwisp This tunnel is pretty big, and you must follow my "words of wisdom" to come out in one piece. From the begining, go up and by using your new Gloves, keep pressing A on the dirt, and keep going up then go left, and keep going down and ignore everything and keep going down until you come to a section with two choices; left and right, choose right and keep going down and just keep going down until you get to this path with a path leading to the right, just ignore that and keep going down and you're done! ---------- Underneath ---------- Welcome To The Second town, The Underneath! This is the home of The Second Shadow Geyser. And the Underneath Historian! You should hunt for Tusk Bwsip Animite, and make it, too. It's very powerful, and is VERY recommended to addto your growing team. You should maybe find a Cave Rudwot At level 20 it learns Burrow, which could help you in Magi Battles. But you don't have Cave Rudowt if you don't want to. Also, the Ringsmith is to the right of the Northern Tower. Well onto the walkthrough! First off, start talking to the town's folk to find out about what's going on right now. Start by talking to Gruk's sister. And then the Historian, if you want a good chuckle. After him, talk to Mostash(the elder) to learn a bit more about the town. You should also play Scrub the Brub to win tickets for a new store in Vash Naroom. Well your ready, keep going East until you get out of The Underneath and keep going East until you reach The Eastern Cavern. This is the tunnel where you have to navigate in order to get to Gruk's House. -------------- Eastern Cavern -------------- Dream Creatures Found: Cave Rudwot* Giant Korrit Agovo Weebat Parmalag Prokuslime Tusk Bwisp** When you enter, keep going North and don't stop. Once you get to the point where you can't go North anymore, head south and keep doing so until you can't go anymore. After this, goto the West until you find a Northern route where you could goto, keep going North on that route until you get out of the Tunnel. Now go into the house and talk to the girl there. She'll tell you that she's having trouble sleeping due to noise in the basement. Head down the basement. When your down here keep going North until you get to these Tresure chests, now you should here Gruk scream. Head back up the stairs. And you'll see thatGruk is gone. Head back to town, it seems like you're going to have to do some Detective work. When you get back to town talk to the citizens, after that, talk to Gogor and he'll offer to help you. Head to the Northern Tower. --------------- Northern Cavern --------------- Once yo get into the tower, Korg and Zet will setup a trap for you, but Korg's ignorance has kept it from working...once again. After this, just keep going right then up then right again to reach Gruk. Now that you have all this out of your way, it's time to enter the 2nd Shadow Geyser. But before you do that, I HIGHLY recommend you get a Tusk Bwisp Ring and your Dream Creatures are at the level from 18-20, and Tony is around level 25 once all this crietaria has been met, proceed to where Gruk's house use to be. --------------- Shadow Geyser 2 --------------- Dream Creatures found: Grax Shryque Black Agovo Core Grag Koil This Shadow Geyser is VERY hard, in my opion, it's the HARDEST, because it took me literally FOREVER to find Ogar. But I'll try to help you as much as I could possibly could. You will have to press many switchs to lower the walls. You should try to summon 2 Dream Creatures for battles, because they could get hard if you're not prepared. Well just keep all this info in mind and... on with the Walkthrough! You'll notice that right from the beginning, you are blocked off, press the switch on your right to lower the wall allowing you to continue. Once you've pressed it down, go up and keep going right onto another screen. This room is practically filled with blocks. This area may rememind you of Zelda games, if you play them that is. From there, go right, up and then left. This should bring you to this vertical room with some blocks. Keep going up, up and probably even further up until you see some lowered walls on your right with a switch there, press it. From there, go South-East until you see a switch. Press it. Once you've pressed this switch, it lowers the wall to your right. Go right to find a Baloo Root. Continue right until you see a warp point, jump in. Go up until you see a lever, press it(or rather pull it) this should lower a wall beside you. But wait -- don't go back yet, on your right, there should be some 'diggable' soil(is that a word?). Continue to go right until you find a spiral tube leading south. Go in and keep going and then go left. From there, go up and then right and keep going right until you see a treasure chest. Open it. You'll find a Titan Ring in there. After you've got that, make your way back to the warp and warp back. Once you've made it back, go left and then up keep going up past the lowered walls, and from there go right and you should see another set of lowered walls, and then go down. You should come to the end of the hallway to find two switches, one on your left and the other on your right. Press the switch on your right. After doing this go up. DON'T press the switch you first come accross! Instead, go up and left and keep going left. You could get a Master Rune. And after that continue going left and then down to get just another Spell: Thunderquake! After you've picked up that Spell, go back to the switch you didn't press and now press it. Go left once again until you are blocked off. Press the nearby switch to lower the wall allowing you to continue, go left and down then right. From there, just keep going right and then go down. You'll come to two switches, white and black, just leave both of them for now and keep going left. Once you've warped to another area, go down to find another lever, pull it to lower another wall. After that make your way back to the twin switches and press the white one. Go back up and then left, press the switch and now keep going left and then down to find...more diggable dirt! Dig through and you will soon come to a room FILLED with dirt! Dig through to your left to find a switch. Press it. And now go back up and left to find a level of lowered walls, jump into the warp and pull the lever in there. Don't go back yet -- there's another Spell waiting for you, from the warp, go right until you see some diggable dirt. Start digging down and just keep digging down until you get to a treasure chest. Open it. The treasure chest is containing the Spell Cave In. Now you could head back to the warp and warp back. At this point, just retrace your steps to the twin swtiches, black and white. This time press the black one and go down. Keep going down and you will soon come to a switch, don't press it, just go left and up to find some Baloo Saps. Now go and press the switch. After you've done that, go left again and now go down. At that point, go right and press the switch and just keep going right. You should arrive at the entrance any time now -- don't worry, it's a good thing. From the entrance, just go right and into the room with the blocks again. In the room, go right and up and then left until you come to this room with two lines of walls and you are in the centre of them. Proceed to go up until you come to a switch. Press it. And after that, go down and press another switch on your right. At that point, keep going down until you see a wall that is lowered(on another area) go right and press the switch that is not pressed, go right and into the warp. At the warp find the nearby lever and press it to open up all the walls. Go in and grab the Core Stone -- you will now meet Ogar, she doesn't like you. ----------------- Core Keeper: Ogar ----------------- Dream Creatures Summoned: Chaos Jile** Spells casted: none Recommened Dream Creatures: Furok** Tusk Bwisp** Recommended Moves: Maul, Fang Recommended Spells: Cave In How to beat her: Her Dream Creatures are blessed with some CRUEL attacks, there's an attack called Consume, and this paticular move has a chance to terminate your Dream Creature. And in other words, take out your Dream Creature in ONE hit, that's right, ONE hit. And the other attack that her Dream Creatures use, is Barrage, and this attacks your WHOLE team at ONE time and dealing about 26 damage. Summon Furok with the Titan Ring, and use Maul on any of them. Try using Cave In right after you summon your Dream Creature. You should also Summon a Tusk Bwisp to help you out, because it is also blessed with two POWERFULL attacks, Maul and Thrust. Maul hurts more so use Maul. Once her Dream Creatures has fallen under your wrath -- SHOW NO MERCY, MAUL THE SENSE OUT HER!!! Why be so cruel? Well you wouldn't want her to Summon another Dream Creature do you? Once she finally is defeated, grab the Core Stone. Victory! Well your undefeated streak is just about to come to an end. Head back to town, but upon your arrival, the town has been destroyed by the evil Shadow Magi and someone that goes by the name of Morag. And like most people that Tony Jones meet, he doesn't like you...tough like, eh? ------------------- The Executor: Morag ------------------- Dream Creatures summoned: Koil Borgor* No matter how good you are, even if your Dream Creatures are at level 99, you still won't be able to conquer him. Why? Well he has 64,000,000 Energy, so trying to defeat him is impossible, no matter how good you fight, you will still lose. His first Dream Creature is pretty easy to take down, and a single Maul should do the trick. But his next Dream Creature, Borgor, moves hurt ten points of damage more every turn, first it starts off as 30, then 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, etc., so it's impossible to win. Once you lose, Morag is about to Execute you, but Wence shoots an arrow at Morag. And soon Morag vanishes. And after all that, you black out and you awake in Wence's home. It's now time to visit Gia once again. At Gia's place, you learn about Morag and his past, how unstoppable he is. But out of now where, Morag appears with Korg and Zet! Korg and Zet will pin Eidon and Gia down to the ground while Morag slowly takes your strength. Once you are to weak, he takes you off to somewhere filled with lava. -------- The Cald -------- Welcome To The Cald, there are many things to be done, and I hope I can explain it clearly. It's also the home of The Third Geyser. So two words... Get Ready! When you first get here, you'll see Morag make another Shadow Geyser. And the town folk will blame you for it. But soon the town gets attacked by Shadow Magi. And the town's folk will BEG for your help. Well first you have to battle them in a neat little order. You don't have to, but it would be a more "organised" if you did this way. Walk around the town in a counter-clockwise direction, and the Shadow Magi will attack you one-by-one. These guys and gals REALLY stink, and it shouldn't take more than one or two Dream Creatures to take them down. The worst they could do is elimanate your first creature. Elimanate them one by one, after that the Cald's town folk will realize that you are a good guy. And you'll have to talk to the Elder. And he'll tell you to find Valkan to get accross to the Shadow Geyser. So get out of town and follow the yellow path to Valkan's house. When you get to Valkan's house, he'll tell you that you need a Lava Arboll to help him make a bridge to get accross to the Shadow Geyser. It looks like you might have to do some Dream Creature trackin' just like 'ole days. Start by getting out of Valkan's house, then go north into the Lava Vent. The Lava Arboll doesn't appear first. It only comes out if Arbolit appears. So if you do see an Arbolit then wait and hang around until he comes out. When he does, try not to summon more then two Dream Creatures. When you get it's animite bring it back to The Cald Ringsmith to forge the ring. When you do, get back to Valkan's house. Valkan soon brings you back to the Geyser area and try to make a bridge but it fails. Then he comes up with another plan, and this one will work. But first you have to steel Ashgar's Key from the Elder. When Valkan cause a diversion quickly get into the Elder's house. And find the key, it's on the right side of the Book case. Now get ready to navigate the Lava Tube. This place could get you fooled but just follow my instructions and you'll come out in one piece. --------- Lava Vent --------- Dream Creatures found: Lava Balmant** Drakan Graw Diobor Saberback Raxis Spells: Fireball From the Entrance go up then keep going right until you can't go anymore. After this keep go down then right then down again until you can't go down anymore. After this go left until you can't go anymore, then up until you can't go anymore, than after that go left then keep going down until you can't go anymore, then keep going left then down to the Boat Dock -- I hope you have a full pocket of Animite. Why? Because you need to pay him 300 Animite to get a ride!!! Well you have to so pay up, but when he gets you to pay 300 again for him to stay, reject that offer. Because once you get the Agadon Boots, talk to the guy infront of the Broken house and you'll get a ride for free -- But it'll take you ALL the way back to the Weave. I teach you how to get back to the Cald soon enough. ------------- Orothe Island ------------- Once you get onto the Island with this house on it, just walk into any part of the house and you should see a man standing guard of the house, when you talk to him, he tells you that there's nothing here. Go into the house and you should see this broken, very-worn down, place. Go up and you should see a set of book cases, keep pressing A on them and it should reveal a set of stairs, walk to the stairs and get ready for the Orothe Tunnels. -------------- Orothe Tunnels -------------- Karak* Abaquist Orpus Bwill Sharbloot Sea Jile* This place is just one HUGE maze, it's actually pretty simple if you listen to what we say. But, BUT if you don't...you could be in here for 2-6 hours. So what are you going to do listen, or don't listen??? To start off from the stairs that you just came in from, go down, then right then go down, and right again then down, (But don't go ALL THE WAY DOWN!!!!!) just go until you see this route to go right, to that and keep going right until you get to this place where you could go down, do that. Keep going down, through this zig-zaggy path and keep going down until you reach this place where you can't go down anymore, now go right until you see to paths for you to go, take the top one and you will soon reach the Orothe's Vault! Once you get there, you'll find a man standing guard of the Vault, talk to him and he will say there's no way of opening it. Using your stolen key you magically open the vault! Once inside open up the first treasure chest you see and you got the Agadon's Boots! The man guarding the vault was so happy that he got relased from his duties, he gave you a horn for to show is appreciation. Make your way out of the tunnels. Once outside, talk to the man guarding the house and he'll tell his friend Olfardt to take you back to the Cald. But he takes you all the way back to the Weave! Once you get the Agadon's Boots and you get taken back to The Weave by Oflardt, go into the Underneath Tunnels again, and Go up and left then down until you see a small pile of dirt, just dig through and go down until you find the find a set of stairs, using your new found boots to to jump back down to the Northern Tunnels, from there, just keep going down, until you reach the entrance/exit. After all that it's time to pay a little visit to The Thrid Shadow Geyser, just go North in The Cald Town and back to the Broken bridge. Make sure your Dream Creatures' levels are from the range of 25-30 and you are at least level 30. --------------- Shadow Geyser 3 --------------- Dream Creatures found: Borgor* Shryque Koil Core Grag From The Beginning, just follow the path and it will lead you to the first switch. Just Press it, and go down until you see another switch. After this jump accross each block until you reach to a colunm of new switches, but don't press any of them yet. Just keep going down until you see a set of stairs on the right. Go down the stairs and keep going right until you see a set of two blocks. Kick the one on the right down once, and the one on the left up one, and left one. Now go up the stairs you came from ignore the first switch(the one that won't budge) and press the one directly above it. After this continue to go up and jump accross the block, and then go left, then down to find another Baloo Leaf and a switch, press the switch and now go up, then right, and after this jump down the southern block. Now keep going down until you can jump accross the block on the right. Jump accross the block and keep going right to find a treasure chest. Open it up to find another Baloo Leaf, after that kick the treasure chest aside and contiune to go right, then up, until you see some blocks on the right. Jump right, then up, then right, then down, then right and contiune going right tofind 100 Animite(can't remember if it is 100 Animite) after this kick this chest aside and keep going up then keep going left then up again until you find a path leading to the right. Go the right to find a switch, press it. After this go left then up again and left until you see some blocks, jump accross the blocks to find a LOAD of treasure chests, just grab the item then kick the chest aside. The one at the far left is Flame Geyser. After you got all the items, jump accross the blocks and then go right and all the way down then right, then down again, jump left then up then left then down then left then down to find a switch press it. After this go left and jump down that single block to find a Baloo Root and a Switch. Don't press it. After you did all this block kicking, go up the stairs and pull the switch, after that keep going down then right to find a little space for you to jump off, jump onto the block and then keep jumping right and keep going right -- but wait, there's 255 Animite waiting for you. Just go up and jump the two blocks to find a Chest holding 255 smackers. Take it(obviously). After this jump back down those blocks and jump right this time. After you did that, go down then right. Welcome to Area number 2 of The 3rd Shadow Geysr! Anyways from where you are, go down then right to grab yourself a Rune Of Fury...DON'T, DON,T EVEN TOUCH THAT SWITCH!!! After you got your Rune, go left then all the way down, until you see a set of stairs, go down the stairs then up and after that right to find a Karmic Fury, after this go back up the stairs and go left until you see another set of stairs. Go down and up until you see another set of stairs, but only go up there if you want 65 animite, and now go down the stairs and up, then right to find a Baloo Sap.(Only if you want it) After that, keep going up until you see another set of stairs, go up then left then down. Get ready for a Magi Battle. This battle is just practice(like Pruitt) you'll be able to beat her w/ no sweat.Once you've done that, she'll start talking to you(this is concendered less...just wait until you get to The Core Keeper...) Anyways after this part proceed and jump down the blocks. And Keep going down until you see a set of stairs, then go down the stairs to find some blocks. Just kick the oneon the far left left one time. And go left to find a set of stairs on the south. Go up the stairs then left and then all the way up to find a switch press it and go up then right to find another switch press it. Go left, then up, then left, then down, and right and jump onto the block and jump right to head find even more blocks...this is NOTHING compared to what's after. I'll show you how Evil showed you. (the following is in Evil's Words) Once you jump across the blocks, go down yet another stairway to find a set of five blocks. We'll deal with the two on the right first. Kick the top one right four spaces and up five. Kick the bottom one right three and up four. Now go to the left three blocks. Kick the bottom one right eight spaces and up two. Kick the middle one right four and up one. Leave the top one where it is. Now go up the stairs and hit the two switches necessarly to flood that section with lava. Just jump the blocks and follow the path. Head down the first set of stairs you see and you'll find, surprise surprise!, MORE BLOCKS!!! This time you'll see six arranged in a zig-zag pattern. This part isn't going to be pretty. Here's the way in which they're arranged: f e c d b a Kick them in this order: a: Right three, up seven, left six b: Right five, up seven, left three c: Right four, up six d: Right seven, up four e: Right six f: Right five Once again, Block kicking thanks to Evil! After you jumped on all those blocks, you'll soon come to a section that allows you to go two ways; left and right, go left and press the switch and after that walk on the dam and up the stairs to the 3rd Core Keeper. --------------------- Core Keeper: Korremer --------------------- Dream Creatures summoned: Kazor* Borgor* Core Grag Spells Casted: Cave In; on a group Recommended Dream Creatures: Furok** Tusk Bwisp** Lava Balmant** Recommended moves: Maul Claw Impale Recommened Spells: Cave In Flame Geyser How to beat him: All you really have to do is use your Cave In to lower each of his Creatures' defenses. Watch out for Kazor's Devour, this will hurt you and like Consume it might kill you in ONE hit!!! Use Maul and Claw to wear him down after you've casted Cave In. He's nothing but nice, so when you taken out all his Dream Creatures, SHOW ABSOLUTLEY NOOOOO MERCY!!!! Keep hurting him until he loses all his Energy. -------------------------- Shadow Hold(short version) -------------------------- Dream Creatures found: Borgor* Spindle Kletch Black Agovo Core Grag Core Hyren** Jing Jack When you get thrown into the Hold, start talking to the door, the bed, the wall and door again. And you should go through the whole Exploding Sock Puppet scene again. Well anyways, this stranger rescues you, by placing an explosive on the door. Once this happens, get out of your cell and goto the the third door from the left to find a chest, open it to find your stuff, your Translation Bracelet, Agadon Boots, etc. Once you get your stuff go right until you see a huge arrow pointing left, from there go up. You should soon come to a new room. Go up and keep looking left, you should see a grey lever/switch. Press it and go down and this time follow the arrow's directions and keep going left at the end of the hallway, go up into the door to get to a new room. Go up and right to find yourself a Shadow Veil. After you done this, go up and then keep going left until you get outside. Walk to the end of the cliff and Tony should start talking to himself(?!) choose take a look down here. Now you should go through a seen where Shadow Magi come after you. Tony will blow Blu's Horn and Blu will start looking for you down at the water. Tony will jump down, and you'll get the Orothean Belt, welcome to Ocent Marrrrrr. ------------------------- Shaodw Hold(Full Version) ------------------------ Items to find: Shadow Veil Feather Shadow Key x7 RuneOfMight RuneOfFury x2 RuneOfPower x2 RuneOfWill RuneOfHope Master Rune End Bringer Screwdriver StoneOfDoom Cloud Frond Dream Creatures: Borgor, Sarbil, Kletch, Spindle Walk out of your cell and you will find a feather in the middle of the hallway. Tony remarks that it sure looks out of place as he puts it in his inventory. Now just go two cells down to get all your stuff back. Kick the boxes out of your way and head east. Just follow this path until you come to a locked door. Just hit the switch to your left and then go back the way you came and head west this time. Follow the path to grab a Shadow Veil and continue on. Follow the path until you see the Shadow Key lying on the ground. Immediately head back to the previous room and unlock the cell door. Do NOT head all the way west yet. If you DO head west, a cut-scene will commence where Tony calls Blu using the horn he was given earlier. Blu than helps you out but you miss all the great stuff in the dungeon. It's your choice, but I suggest you explore the dungeon more. When you open the cell door, the key will break in the lock. No biggie, it's supposed to. Walk inside and talk to the prisoner there. ======================================================================= Prisoner: Don't hurt me! Tony: I'm not here to hurt you, I'm here to rescue you! Prisoner: THANK YOU!! Tony: See you later. Prisoner: Wait, there are more prisoners trapped in here. Tony: Well, I'll do what I can for them. Prisoner: Thanks! Well... Bye. *Prisoner runs off* ======================================================================= Now just hit the switch that's in the cell and go ALL the way back to the eastern side of the prison (remember the locked door?). Once there, kick some more boxes out of your way like a good boy and continue on. You'll see a locked cell door, but just keep going. You'll come back to it later when you get the next key. Follow the path until you come to an intersection. If you try to go east you'll be blocked, but the mysterious cloaked figure will hit a switch from the other side dropping the wall to allow Tony to pass. He then quickly runs off leaving Tony spouting a puzzled "OK, who did that?" Continue east (as the north and south paths are also blocked) once the wall is down. There will be two chests to the north. Grab the RuneOfMight in the chest on the right and only open the left one if you want to battle a Jingjack(I suggest you do it). Just follow the path further until you come out into an open spot with a treasure chest to your right. Just grab the shadow key from it and head back down the path to the last locked cell door. The key will again break in the lock allowing you to walk in and speak with another prisoner. Hit the switch in this cell as well and follow the path back to the where you got the last Shadow Key (the one that opened this cell) and a new path will be opened. This time you'll enter a room with a LOT of boxes. Don't freak out, this parts a snap. Make sure to grab the two RuneOfFurys while you're here. Once you enter the next room, hit the switch to your left and head north. Hit the next swith then go south and then west. Hit the NEXT switch and then go east, north, then west. Grab the RuneOfPower and hit another switch. Now head east, south, and west until you reach a room with more boxes. Kick the boxes out of the way to receive another Shadow Key and use it on the door north of you. Go speak with the prisoner and then hit the switch in his room. Once you hit the switch, go back to the intersection and head west. Keep going until you notice a new door open to you (has blue goo inside) and hit the switch inside. Now go back to the intersection and the southern path will finally be open. Follow it into a room with a giant screwdriver and screws (I'm not making this up). There will also be three treasure chests. Open the top one for a RuneOfWill, the middle one for an End Bringer, and the bottom one to fight a JingJack. Now go back to the room with all the boxes (by taking the eastern path at the crossroads) and instead of going north near the top of the screen, head east. Take the first northern path you see. Don't worry about heading east. You'll be dropped into that room in a bit by a trap door so don't waste your time. Once you go north you'll immediately be given the choice of north, east, or west. Go north first until you find a treasure chest. When you open it, a trap door will open beneath Tony dropping him into another room. It's no big deal, so don't sweat it. ======================================================================= *Tony opens a treasure chest and receives another Shadow Key, only to have the floor suddenly drop out beneath him* Tony: Uh oh... AAAAAHHHH!!!! *Tony falls and lands in another room* Tony: Oooo, that's gonna leave a mark! ======================================================================= There's a treasure chest south of the path leading out of this room but it has a JingJack in it so opening it is your choice. Just follow the path until you can go north. Once you've gone north, go east and then south. Kick some boxes out of your way to reach a large room with another Shadow Key in it. Then head further south. Go east at your first chance and into the third cell (one past the locked cell with the dragon in it) to get a RuneOfPower. After you exit the cell I just mentioned, the path will loop back around. Make sure that you notice the cells on the SOUTHERN side of the wall. Due to their placement they can be hard to see. Make sure you unlock the one of the far right first and then hit the switch inside. There's another cell two doors down to open, but DON'T open it yet. You need to save that key. Continue west until you can head north or south. Go south and follow the path until you are given the choice of west or further south. Go west. Kick some more boxes out of the way and grab another Shadow Key then go back to the last intersection and all the way back up north. Now head east and kick some more blocks out of the way. Head further east and you'll see two cells, a switch, and a treasure chest. Open the first cell and talk to the prisoner. Now hit the switch in his room and go into the next cell. Talk to this prisoner, too. Phew. Now walk out the cell, trip the switch and grab the treasure chest for a RuneOfHope. Head south and you'll recognize our FAVORITE intersection. WOOHOO! But the God's have smiled upon you (sort of) as you don't have to use that intersection. Head west from the two cells you unlocked and go back down south. Follow the path until you're back at the intersection that gives you the choice of west or south. Go west, follow the path and you'll find a new section has been opened. Open the treasure chest there for a Screwdriver. Now go back a bit and head south where another new secion will be opened. Follow the path and you'll be given the choice of east or west. Go WEST, kick some blocks out of the way and continue. Follow the path until it splits north and south a second time (the southern split at the first is a dead end). Go north first and follow the path for a StoneOfDoom. Now go back to the last intersection and head south. Follow the path (ignoring the turn east for now) for a Shadow Key and a Master Rune. Now go back and head east. You'll now be at ANOTHER intersection also going north and south. Don't bother going south unless you want to fight a Jingjack. So just head north and flip the switch you see. Then just leave this screen and the next as well by going back west. Once you've moved west two screens, just follow the path back around and head north. Don't forget to unlock the guy to your right (the one you had to leave earlier) a couple screens up on the way. NOW go back to our favorite intersection and head south (remember the gigantic screwdriver room)? Right before the gigantic screwdriver room, you'll notice a new section has opened up. When you turn the corner you run smack dab into two Shadow Magi's. ======================================================================= Tony: Uh oh. *The Shadow Magi on the left confronts Tony and the battle begins* ======================================================================= This guy is a pushover, but nonetheless, don't screw around. You've come too far in this dungeon to goof off and blow it now. He summons wussified monsters like BlackAgovo's and Core Grag. Bring out your heavy hitters and you should have him toasted in a few rounds, easy. ======================================================================= *Second confronts Tony* ======================================================================= Okay, now this guy's not a pushover like the last dude. Right off the bat he summons a Core Hyren, but don't panic. After all the leveling up you've done in this dungeon, you should be able to take it pretty easy. He may possibly knock out one of your heavy-hitters but by the time he can do that you'll easily have two or three more out. Just don't jack around and make sure you don't let him focus enough to summon another and you'll win. ======================================================================= *Tony unscrews the door with the screwdriver* *The man in the blue cloak runs by in a flash surprising Tony* Tony: What was that? *When Tony goes to investigate, all he finds is another feather and a Cloud Frond locked in a treasure chest. With all the prisoners freed, Tony decides to take a cue from them and get outta there* ======================================================================= Walk in and pick up the feather and a Cloud Frond. Now it's time to get the hell outta Dodge!!! Just head towards the beginning where you got the VERY first Shadow Key. I'm assuming you know where that is so I'm not going to give you directions. When you get to where you found the very first Shadow Key, just keep heading west and you'll come to a broken bridge with water underneath. A cutscene will automatically ensue. ======================================================================= Tony: Wow, this is pretty high up, I wonder if I should go back or try to find my way down here? *Tony decides to look here. He glances way down into the water below* Tony: That's a long way down... The water would soften the landing, but I can't swim... Well, I seem to be in a fix, here... That guy back at the vault said to blow the horn if I needed help... maybe this would be a good time... *Suddenly Tony glances behind him and sees two Shadow Magi's coming his way* Tony: AIEEGH!! *The Shadow Magi's move closer* BLOOORNGH! GRANK! *The Shadow Magi's begin moving quickly towards Tony* Tony: They'll throw me back in that cell! *Tony turns around and moves close to the edge* Tony: I hope this works! *Tony pulls out the horn and blows on it with all his might jumping off the bridge as he does. Before he even has a chance to land in the water, Blue shows up but doesn't see Tony approaching him from above* ------ Orothe ------ When Blu drops you off, inside the turtles, just go up into the house and you will see Blu talking to the Elder. Blu will introduce you and a lot more other things. When they're done talking get out of the Elder's house and then keep swimming behind the Elder's home until get out of all the turtles. Once you did this steer your turtle to the northwest section of Orothe. To the Orothe Ruins. ------------ Orothe Ruins ------------ Dream Creatures found: Sea Jile* Karak* Paralit Orpus Sharbloot Weclome to yet another maze! Anyways, from the start swim up and then left and keep going until you see this path leading up to this "castle" go up the stairs of the castle and keep swimming left, and as soon as you leave the castle's "white part" swim northwest and after when you past another, but, smaller castle, swim up until you reach this intersection with two choices; left and right, choose right, and swim right and then swim up and after when you passed the broken piece of something go left and as soon as you see a path leading south, swim into there to find 3 treasure chests, open each of them to find a Water of Life, an Entangle Spell, and a Blurry Scroll. Now navigate your way out this Ruined place. -------------- Back to Orothe -------------- Once you got all those items, head back to town(steer your turtle into those other turtles). And show the Blurry Scroll to the Orothe Historian(the house on the far right) -- BUT when you show it to him, the whole town leaves, and if you want some Orothe Dream Creatures to fight the Fourth Shadow Geyser, you'll have to have your Rings made first. You could still use the Ring- smith. But anyways do some training before you head to the Fourth Shadow Geyser, because Warrada's Dream Creatures aren't that easy -- but they ain't that hard either. So strap yourself in and show the Historian the Blurry Scroll. --------------- Shadow Geyser 4 --------------- Dream Creatures found: Yvohcna Shadow Karak Dryte Fiend Grax First off, use your Dispel X on the forcefield. Once you've done that jump onto the water and let it carry you to the opposite side of the Geyser. From there, go left and jump off into the water and let it carry you to a whirlpool. It will eventually drop you into a room. At that point go left, and keep going left until you see a set of stairs, walk up them and Warrada will start yaking away. Once she's done talking, just continue going left, then down and right, you should see a set of stairs. Go in them and go up until you are allowed to jump into the water, do that. It will eventuallytake you to a whirlpool. Once you've got sucked in, you'll end up behind a block. Kick it. After you've kicked it, go right and up and keep going up until you come to a set of stairs, go up them, then go left and right and down into a set of stairs. From there, jump into the water and let it carry you to once another whirlpool. Once in this room, go down and kick the block either left or right and jump off the platform. Go left and press the switch or rather pull the lever. From there go right and up the stairs, and after that go right and up and right once again and into the stairs. Up there open up the treasure chests to find a Baloo Leaf and another item. After you've picked those items up go up then left and jump into the water, while in the water hold down right on your Control Pad. Once you've fell into this room, go behind you and open up the chest to find a Karmic Power. After you've picked up that item, go down and kick the block either left or right. And then jump off the platform. At that point go left. And up the set of stairs, and then go up until you see a section with two choices; left and up go left and then kick the block aside. After that press the switch, or rather pull the lever. (Almost Done!) Once you've pressed the switch go down and keep going down until you come to a set of stairs, go in and then go right and up. Just jump into the water and go left and down, while going down, hold down down and right until you go into the a whirlpool on the bottom(it may take a few tries.) Once you've made it into this room with a block right infront of you, (you could tell that it's the right room if a switch is visible). Pull the lever and then kick the block aside and jump off the platform. From there, go down and then up the stairs. And then go up another set of stairs. Warrada is there and it's time to decide whether you accept or refuse the offer. But her last Dream Creature is the TOUGHEST, it has a LOT of Energy, I found this out because when I used my Leaf Hyren and Thorns, it did 92 damage! It lived! So without a Hyren, her last Dream Creature could take a LOT of abuse before it goes down, and it could take out at least 2-3 Dream Creatures of yours. You could find out when she's going to Summon that Iron-Dream Creature, when she says: "Please direct our Guests to the door" and that is a Dream Creature to watch out for! Once you've defeated Warrada, navigate you and your turtle out of the place where the 4th Shadow Geyser was located, and steer your turtle to the bottom left mountain, which is the Orothe Tunnels. -------------- Orothe Tunnels -------------- Karak* Abaquist Orpus Bwill Sharbloot Sea Jile* Once you are in there, keep going up until you get back to the first Orothe Tunnels that you have navigated. Once you have got there, swim out of the small pond you are in right now. Do that by swimming up, and just continue to go up until you can't get go any- more, and keep going left until you go that direction anymore, and then just proceed to keep going up and up. ANd you should see the stairs pretty soon. ------------- Orothe Island ------------- Once you get out of the broken cottage, Eidon will meet you there. And he have some sad news for you. It's time to get back to Vash Naroom ----------- Vash Naroom ----------- Gia is there with Eidon and the sick Orwin. Gia tells you that you turn out not to be the Great Magus Kiros, and that YOU happen to be the cause of all the Shadow Geysers that appeared around Magi-Nation. It turns out that the Prophecy of Legend, is meant to be the Prophecy of Warning. That's right if the Magus was found it would mean the destruction of Magi-Nation -- not the hero that was destined to save Magi-Nation. She tells you to leave Magi- Nation forever -- but don't just go packing up yet, the game is far from over, this is the time to start hunting down powerful Dream Creatures -- mainly Hyrens, Leaf Hyren and TimberHyrn are the most useful. Once you've found all the Dream Creatures, head for the Core Gate in the Weave. It's located at the West of Gia's place. --------- Core Gate --------- Once you've made it to the Core Gate, talk to the four diamond-shaped Crystals and you will be taken back to your home -- on bad terms, that is. ------------ Tavel Gorge? ------------ Now that you've made it home, it's time to rejoin your "friends" they will be amazed to see that you have returned from the Tavel Gorge Cave. And they welcome you to their "possy" and they want to meet their new friends...Korg and Zet. Get ready for the two of the gruelsome battles in Magi-Nation. ----------------------- Quaterfinals Boss: Korg ----------------------- Dream Creatures summoned: Black Agovo Grax Spells casted: none Recommended Dream Creatures: Leaf Hyren* TimberHyrn** Deep Hyren*** Cave Hyren* Mush Hyren** Recommended Moves: Thorns Cyclone Drown Crush Recommended Spells: Cave In How to beat him: His Dream Creatures are not designed to deal damage to you and your Dream Creatures. All of his Dream Creatures has more than 120 Energy, so a couple of terminated attacks could be useful. Don't hesitate to Summon 4 Dream Creatures to deal more abuse than he can handle. Once you've defeated him, it's time to brawl with the cheapest Magi in the game. --------------------- Semi Finals Boss: Zet --------------------- Dream Creatures summoned: Kazor* Vile Yogu Spells casted: Lightning(23 Damage) Cunning Blow(Terminates in one hit) Recommended Dream Creatures: Leaf Hyren* TimberHyrn** Deep Hyren*** Mush Hyren* Cave Hyren** Recommended Moves: Thorns Timber Cyclone Drown Crush Recommended Spells: Cave In Flame Geyser(maybe) How to beat him: This guy is VERY, VERY, VERY hard. It took me about 7 tries to actually defeat him. If you have a Leaf Hyren that is at least level 50, his Dream Creatures are very easy to defeat because Cyclone is Super-Effective, or in other words, they are weak against Vash Naroom attacks. His Kazor is armed with a Devour and that could cause some trouble for you, but it usaul ly misses the termination. But, BUT his Spell called: Cunning Blow, guarntees, that's right GUARNTEES to terminate your Dream Creature in ONE hit, and if you've forgot, it means elimante your Dream Creature in ONE hit. Once you've managed to take down all his Dream Creatures, attack Zet with EVERYTHING you've got, use the Mauls, use the Claws, use the Thorns, use the Wrecks and use every strong attack that you Dream Creatures are armed with. --------- Core Gate --------- Once you have defeated him, a weird "person" will fly out from the sky, and he knocks out Eidon, he tells you that his home country, Arderial has became the latest victims of the Shadow Geysers decade of destruction. He asks you help his town out. --------------- Arderial Palace --------------- Dream Creatures found: Thunder Hyren(not yet) Bolt Hyren(not yet) From the beginning, go up and then go left and then down and left again into another area. In this room, go left and down and then keep going down until you get to the room with a set of HUGE stairs on the left. Go up them and then go left and up the huge hallway into the Queen Jamila's Chamber. Over here you'll meet the Queen and this dude named "Agram" and soon the Queen will give you an Item of called the Eye of Storm, this will allow you to navigate the skies of Arderial because this let's you fly! Once you learned all this, it's time to start raking up your most powerful Rings and even forge a couple of new ones, and pack your stuff and goto the Final Shadow Geyser. ------------------ Arderial World Map ------------------ Dream Creatures found: Orathan F.** There's really no strategy for this one, all I really needed was an oppourtunity to tell you how to get Orathan F., all you have to do is walk between the mountains for some time, all it takes is one Orathan F. infused Animite to forge it's Ring, but it costs 900 Animite, but money shouldn't even be a problem at this point of the game. ------------------- Final Shadow Geyser ------------------- Dream Creatures found: Black Agovo Core Hyren** Dark Vellup DrtyeFiend Hook Wing From the beginning, just walk straight up to find a circlular chest holding a Star Key. Once you've picked that up, go right then up and right again into a whole other area that looks like the Second Shadow Geyser. DON'T press the switch that you first come accross. Instead, ontop of that switch, you'll see a wall that has been lowered, and behind that you'll find another switch, press that one. By pressing that switch, it doesn't lower the wall beside you, instead, go down and once again, DON'T Press that switch! Just keep going down and you will find one more switch. Press it. By pressing that switch, it lowers the wall to the right of the switch you've just pressed. Walk on the wall by going right, soon you'll find that you get blocked off, just go up and press the switch up there. Once you have done that, walk all the way down and go right to press another switch. Once you've done _that_, go up past the two lowered walls, and then go right and keep going right until you get to the Orothe Shadow Geyser Area. From there, jump into the water and go left, then press down, this should bring you to the bars of this small island holding a treasure chest. Go right and up onto the island and open the treasure chest holding a Star Key. Once you've picked that up, jump on to the water and press right and wait until you get close to the wall of the area you first jumped into the water from and press up. This should bring you back onto the area you first jumped from and go left back to the Underneath Shadow Geyser area. From there, just go up until you see the switch, go and press it. Once you've pressed that switch down, go down and left and then up to find a chest holding an item, open the treasure chest to reveal a Star Key. Once you've picked that Star Key, go down and press the switch at the very botto- m. Once you have pressed that switch, go up past the twin walls that just got lowered and go right and then up and ignore the first switch you've come accross. And if you continue to go up, you will find another switch. Press it. And once you have done that go left and up into the Third Shadow Geyser Area. Once you've made it there, go up, right and then jump off the stairs and fl- y left, and keep flying left then up onto the set of stairs and open the treasure chest on your right. Once you've done that go up. From this area, go left and keep going up to find a treasure chest. Open it and get the item in there. After that, go down and back to the entrance of this area. And fly down and right back onto the Third Shadow Geyser area. And keep going right into another area. In this area, press the switch, or rather pull the lever on the Northern wall. And once you've pressed both of them get the item behind the steel wall. Once you've got that, go down and right to find yet another treasure chest. Once you've secured both of the items here. Go back out. Once you've made it, go left down and down back to the switch room again. Once in there again, press the switch to your left and open the treasure c chest. Continue left and press the switch, and go down and left back to the centre room. In this room, go left and up to find a locked door, open it with your Star Key by pressing A on it. Open it and go continue to go up. At this point keep going right to find another locked door. Open this door and keep going up. You will have to open several doors. Keep opening until you get to this pipe. Jump in for the ride. Once you've came out. Press the switch on the left of the pipe. And jump back in the pipe you just came out of. This should bring you in front of 3 circular treasure chests. Open each of them to get a Star Key and two Baloo Saps. Once you've done that, keep going left through two different areas. But before you do that, go up and right and then go down and then go left and up to find a Star Key. Now go left through two different areas. Once you've made it to the screen with three pipes, press the switch you first come accross. After you've pressed that one, move left and down and now press this switch. Once you've done _that_, move down one more time and press _this_ switch. Once've you've pressed all those switches, go right into the room you perviously ignored to go into the room you are in right now. It's NOT the room with the Baloo Saps and Star Keys!!! Just go right and you'll come to this room. Look around for some switches and press them both and now jump into the pipe in this room. Once you've made it out of that pipe, go up and right and at that point keep flying right until you hit a big wall. From there go down and right to find a locked door, open it, go up unlock another door, and keep going up and you should find the Core Stone, pick it up and it's time to brawl with the beast that couldn't be stopped in the Underneath, it's time to settle your score with -- Morag. ------------------ Core Keeper: Morag ------------------ Dream Creatures summoned: Borgor DarkAyebaw Shryque Hook Wing Spells Casted: Condemn(70 damage) Singularity(50 damage on a group) Recommended Dream Creatures: Leaf Hyren TimberHyrn Deep Hyren Cave Hyren Mush Hyren Leaf Chogo Ormagon Recommended Moves: Claw Thorns Timber Drown Maul Crush Consume Devour Wreck How to beat him: It took me roughly 3 tries to defeat him, the first few was pretty grueling, but he isn't half as hard as Zet. His Dream Creatures easily fall to Leaf Hyren's Thorns. The troubles with most bosses are their Spells. Condemn is a deadly Spell that deal 70 damage to the Dream Creature of his choice. And the other, Singularity, this Spell deals 50 damage to your whole party. All I used to defeat him is my Leaf Hyren, Furok, Lava Balmant and Deep Hyren. I manage to terminate 7 of his 9 Dream Creatures. When he starts Focusing, it means that he is REALLY running low on Energy, and he can't Summon or cast Spells. At this point try to elimante his remaining Dream Creatures as FAST AS POSSIBLE, once I did that, I had grown a LOT of hatred for Morag so I used: Flock, Thorns, Claw and Claw. He died after this. Over? Don't count on it, there is ONE more battle to go against someone by the name of Agram. Once you've defeated Morag, head to the Core Entrance and press A on the four diamond shaped...er...diamonds and lightning will crack the Core Entrance Go in. But before you try to attempt this place, your Dream Creatures should be at the level range of 55-60, and Tony should be at the level range of 40-50. Once those requirements had been met, go in. ---------- Wastelands ---------- Dream Creatures found: DryteFiend Core Hyren (more coming soon!) From the beginning, just keep going up and it should lead you to another screen or area. From there, just keep going up and then keep going right. And just keep going right until you see a entrance on the North. Go in. You should come to another room. Go into the entrance on the top left. From there, keep going up and then keep going right. Actually, you could just keep going up until you find another entrance. This should bring you to another area. From here go into the entrance on the top right. So the Note is different. --------------- Important Note -------------- This FAQ, Text Document or otherwise guide is designed to give more in depth help on Bosses and Magi Battles, all information in this Text Document is an expanded version of my existing FAQ/Walkthrough. You won't find any Walkthrough in this FAQ, but you will find every single walkthrough in my existing FAQ/Walkthrough. It's hard to maintain two FAQs at the same time, but I'll manage. Again, there are many Magi that I didn't bother fighting, Yaki and the Magi in the Shadow Hold I never tried to fight. But they are coming up pretty soon. If you would like to contribute in anyway, send me an email via this address: vampiro_07@hotmail.nospam.com, you'll have to remove the "nospam" in order for your message to get through to my inbox. It would be greatly appreciated, and you probably won't get a message back, just considered your self thanked, you will be recgonized in the "Credits" Section of this FAQ. This FAQ does contain some spoilers, and you should only read this FAQ if you actually own the game(you most likely will) and if you do own the game, don't read further than the part your are currently in, I don't want you to get spoiled of anything cool. His two Dream Creatures: Shadow Vinoc and Koil are armed with this move that slows any of your Dream Creatures' Speed Rating by 20! At the beginning of the game, that's like taking away ALL your Dream Creatures' Speed Rating! To avoid this, send it an already slow Dream Creature like Furok, Vinoc and Bhatar. At this point of the game, the strongest move you have is Fang. This will deal close to twelve damage to any Dream Creature, at the beginning that's VERY much. He will try to summon up to four Dream Creatures very quickly. To avoid that, Summon Furok, Wapsarine and anyone else of your choice. Tell Furok to Fight and tell Wasparine to use Fang. Shadow Vinoc and Koil will try to use Coil on your Wasparine to take his Speed out of the picture. Try using some Remedy Drinks to remove the Status changer, but only do this a couple of times, because they will keep using Coil on your Dream Creatures, but the plus side of that is they won't be able to do damage on you. It's up to you. Use your Energy wisely...maybe you didn't get that...ALWAYS USE YOUR ENERGY WISELY!!! Don't waste a lot of Energy casting Spells. If you need to use Healing Items on yourself(Baloo Leaf, Baloo Root and Baloo Sap) to Summon another Dream Creature, don't hesitate to do it. Use Fangs on each them and you will be able to take them with one or two hits each. My Wasparine was level 20 when I was there and I stomped on him like he was just another Safaly(first battle). Once you've taken all his Dream Creatures out, he will only cast Fireball on your Dream Creatures and try to Focus some Energy back to Summon one more DC to fight. At this point it shouldn't be that hard to take him out. ---- Ogar ---- Esitimated Magi's Energy: 400 Dream Creature Summoned: Chaos Jile Spells Casted: None Recommended Items: Baloo Leaf(Heals Energy) Baloo Sap(Heals Energy) Baloo Root(Heals Energy) Strength Gem(Raises Strength) Power Gem(Raises Skill) Recommended Relics: Titan Ring(Raises Strength) Bag of Bones(Raises Strength) Recommended Dream Creatures: Furok(Maul) Vinoc(Bramble, Claw) Wasparine(Fang) Tusk Bwisp(Maul, Thrust) Weebo(Heal) Recommended Attacks: Maul Claw Thorns Fang Thrust Recommended Spells: Grow Recommended Tony Jones' Level Range: 20-25 Recommended Dream Creatures' Level Range: 18-20 How to beat her: This will be the tougher battles in the game. She most likely Summon upto four Chaos Jiles to Fight you. And all four them are armed with some DANGEROUS attacks, Consume is a terminated attack, and in other words, they could take you out in ONE Blow, that's right, ONE Blow. If they don't take you out in one blow, they'll take Energy from you to heal themselves, so it's a lose-lose situation for you. And the other DANGEROUS attack, Barrage, this is more of a dangerous attack because it attacks your WHOLE party at once. So she Summons four Chaos Jiles and they all use Barrage = your Dream Creatures elimanated and your next. That's the math equation. Well maybe not but you get the idea. Do not hesitate to use a lot of healing items. But with my Furok at level 24, Tusk Bwisp level 23 and Wasparine at level 21, I had no trouble taking her out. My friend even did it with his Dream Creatures at no higher level than 18. There's an upside to all this, she doesn't cast any Spells. At the point where you take out all her Dream Creatures, she WILL Focus more Energy back to Summon one more to take you on. But you could easily take that out. Use Maul and Fang to deal maxium damage to them. ------------------- Morag, the Executor ------------------- Esitimated Magi's Energy: 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 Dream Creature Summoned: Koil Borgor Spells Casted: None Recommended Items: None Recommended Relics: None Recommended Dream Creatures: None Recommended Attacks: None Recommended Spells: None Recommended Tony Jones' Level Range: None Recommended Dream Creatures' Level Range: None How to beat him: I should really correct that, How to get SLAUGHTERED by him. Anyways, this battle can not be won. I repeat can NOT be won. You could take out his first Dream Creature with no troubles. But his next Dream Creature, Borgor is invincible. Their levels just keep getting higher and higher. I actually managed to take out four of his Borgors(In my Secret Start Game that is) my Level 99 Chaos Jiles just slaughtered the Borgor. But after like an hour his Borgor got upto the level of 99 and they took out my Dream Creatures. So even with level 99 Dream Creatures this battle can not be won. My friend didn't get Cave In the the Second Geyser and he _still_ can't beat him. He's been at Korremer two months ago. This battle will not last very long if you don't have either Lava Balamant or Tusk Bwisp to help out your Furok. Korremer will be able to attack before you get to Summon, if you're lucky, he might use Fight. After you get hit, Summon Furok or Lava Balmant and then cast Cave In. You could take out Core Grag in one hit by a Furok after a Cave In at level 27. With my Furok at level 39 and Lava Balamant at level 41, I really didn't have that much troubles against him. There's a couple of things to look for. Kazor is one of his favourite Dream Creatures. Why? It has a terminating attack called Devour, and if you missed it the first around, it take out your Dream Creature in one hit. Flame Geyser is very effective too, but if your Dream Creatures could it, then it will be very useful. ------- Warrada ------- Esitimated Magi's Energy: 560 Dream Creature Summoned: Shryque Spindle Sarbil Kletch Spells Casted: Flood(On a group) Recommended Items: Remedy Drink Baloo Leaf Baloo Sap Baloo Root Strength Gem Power Gem Defense Gem Recommended Relics: Titan Ring BagofBones Hyren's Claw Recommended Dream Creatures: Furok Lava Balamant Tusk Bwisp Wasparine Recommended Attacks: Maul Claw Fang Recommended Spells: Cave In Recommended Tony Jones' Level Range: 30-40 Recommended Dream Creatures' Level Range: 35-50 How to beat her: The Magi that you fought earlier on, but this time, she's a LOT better. Don't get fooled by the first Dream Creature she summons, and that is Shyrque. Her Dream Creatures get better as they are Summoned. Her last Dream Creature has more than One Hundred Energy. That is one tough Dream Creature at this point of the game. It will take a lot of high-level Dream Creatures to take it out. To tell when she Summons this powerful Dream Creature, Warrada will say this: "Please direct our guests the door". This is the que to tell you that you need to Summon some Powerhouses! Furok, Lava Balmant and Tusk Bwisp are good choices. Then attack Sarbil with everything you have! Maul, Claw Thrust! You name it! Just attack with your most powerful attacks. Then keep going up until you come to a set of twin doors. Use your Star Key on the door and go up. This should bring you to another area. Go up and left and up again into another room requiring a Star Key, open it to find three items: Baloo Root, Baloo Root and a Lightning Spell. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART VIII: Hyrens ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's recommended to get Hyrens, because they are the most powerful Dream Creatures in the game. You should be at least level 25 before you go after them, it really helps to if you have the Cave In Spell. Well here's the locations of the Hyrens. ----------- Vash Naroom ----------- Who: TimberHyrn, Leaf Hyren Items Required: Blast Urn Where: Go the Tunnels of the Underneath, and from the entrance go up and dig through some dirt, and once you've done that, continue to go up and the left and then down until you see a small pile of dirt on the left. Dig through that and then go down and you should see a set of huge stairs. Go down and then on the wall, there should be a cracked wall, use your Blast Urn to blast it open. Once in there you'll have to dig through some dirt before you get there. ---------- Underneath ---------- Who: Mush Hyren, Cave Hyren Items Required: none Where: To find these Hyrens, head to the Cald and get into the Lava Tube( the mountain up on the north.) And at the Entrance, keep going up then sort of horizontaly right after that go up until you find a set of stairs, go down the stairs, and wait for a Vortex to come up, when it does, jump in to be taken to A secret area of the Lava Tube to find the Underneath Hyrens, Cave Hyren and Mush Hyren. ---- Cald ---- Who: Flame Hyren, Magma Hyren Items required: none Where: These Hyrens could be easily found, first goto the Cald over-world map and head to The red entrance thingy by the far west. Under that you should see two mountains, and the one that is being over-lapped by the other one is the source of the Hyrens. Between the red entrance there is a enterable gap between the volcano and the black wall. ------ Orothe ------ Who: Deep Hyren, Coral Hyren Items required: Orothean Belt Where: Go behind the Seer's house and start swimming, keep swimming until you get to the opposite shore, and once you do, walk to the left and then start swimming again, until you see this warp hole, it's VERY easy to see, because the hole looks VERY different. --------- Arderial* --------- Who: Thunder Hyren, Bolt Hyren Items required: none Dream Creatures required: Orathan F. Where: I put "Dream Creatures required" because you HAVE to battle Orathan F. TEN, that's right TEN times, and it's hard enough to find him. Anyways, to find him, walk through the mountains on the world map. You got to walk through them for a LONG, LONG time. Once you did walk through them 10 times, go to the Arderial palace, and you will some come to them! Good Luck!(You'll need it) *: Proven False ---- Core ---- Who: Core Hyren Items required: none All you have to do is walk around the 5th Shadow Geyser and you'll eventu- ally find him. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART VIII: Relics ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This section is designed to tell you what the Relics do, NOT where to find them. You'll have to look at some future Relic Guide, that might be written by me! Anyways here they are! And please do note, that this is by far NOT the full list, there are far more Relics that I have not yet found, but be patient! Nothing is hidden forever. ---------- Relic List ---------- Archaic Leaf-Raises Skill by ten points Bark Thimble-Raises Defense four points Channeled Gem-Raises Skill by six points Energy Gem-??? I really haven't figured out what this does Flamed Essence-Raises Defense against Cald Attacks Gem of Naroom-Raises Defense by six points Golden Clover-Raises Luck by fifteen points Phantom Wind-Raises Attack by ten points Shadow Veil-Raises Defense by twenty points and raises Resist by twenty points(casues confusion???) Sky Essence-Raises your Defense against Arderial attacks Sword Of Wind-Raises Attack by fourteen points Titan Ring-Raises Attack by eight points Wishbone-Raises Luck by five points (more coming soon) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART IX: Dream Creatures ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This section is designed to tell you what the Dream Creatures do or in other words, their moves. This is not a section. To find where to find the Dream Creatures, you'll have to look at a Dream Creature FAQ, which I'm looking into right now. You'll find the "*s" here. (Look at Walkthrough Legend) Please, don't email me with requests of putting ALL Eighty Dream Creatures in this FAQ, it's only to give you a basic idea of the Dream Creatures' moves. -UPDATE- This section is now a property of CORE NAROOM(http://maginationgbc.cjb.net), 'cause NONE of these, NONE of these, are mine anymore. "IF YOU HAVE SUBMITTED IN THE PASS AND YOUR NAME IS NOT HERE, JUST CONTACT ME[Webmaster] MASS CONTRIBUTORS WILL HAVE THEIR NAME IN ''SITE CREDITS'' [http://maginationgbc.cjb.net] The Jackal has helped with the Underneath Creatures. Nathan is a mass contributor. Cthera has helped with Orpus. Dave has contributed for Thunder and Core Hyrens. Stradus12 has helped with some DCs. I'm not posting reduntant information like how much animite they need to be made, if you want to know just go to the ringsmith. HOWEVER, what moves a creature learns is important, I won't put up what level they learn it, that's for you to try out. Doing this by myself would take a lifetime or two, so I ask that if you have any creatures that know more than the abilities here tell me via the quickpanel email form on the main page. ALL creatures learn FOUR abilities, so if not all four are posted it means I don't know them all yet." -Webmaster of Core Naroom(http://maginationgbc.cjb.net) ARBOLL Leaf Claw ? ? Open the door with your Star Key and talk to the man in there to format your Game Pak. You MUST defeat Agram First. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART XI: Gameshark Codes ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't really recommended using the Gameshark, but if you're REALLY desperate, you could use these. Or you could also see how badly you could cream someone with Cunning Blow! I modifed these codes, because from there orignal code, it wouldn't work on my Gameshark, but these Codes DOES work. I think the Gameshark I have is the same one as No$gmb's. *NOTE*: None of these Gameshark Codes are mine, I found them on the GameFAQs Message Boards, and are copyrighted of their respected hackers/founders. I'll try to anwser every email that I get, but it probably won't happen. You might find your question on here! Email me at: vampiro_07@hotmail.nospam.com(remove the "nospam" to email me. This section is like Tips and Tricks. Q: What the hey does Impale do? A: Its just like Maul, but it is a bit stronger -- plus, one intsy, little detail, you have a choice of attacking the Magi directly. Choice is yours. Q: What does Burrow do? A: I'm not 100% sure on this, but it protects you from attacks that are under a certain amount of damage. Meaning, (just pretending) my Cave Rudwot Burrow and then a Furok Scratches Cave Rudwot, it says: "Cave Rudot remains hidden!" That's because Scratch failed to go over the "number" that Cave Rudwot is protected against. Dang, that was a bit confusing, SSj472 may be able to clear things up a bit. Q: How do I counter Prism?! A: You could get a Weebo and use Heal, then it will reflect back on you! Or you can use a group attack move and it won't be able to reflect on you. Q: How do I find the Arderial Hyrens? A: Check the Hyrens section. Q: Your way doesn't work! A: It does, after you fight Orathan Flyer 10 or MORE times walk around the Arderial Palace for a long time. It works better if you fight Orathan Flyer more than 10 times. Q: Is there a way to Level up more quickly? A: Yes, yes there is. There are actually two ways to do it. You could actually try to find a lot of both Infused Animite, and money Animite and then talk to a Ringsmith, on the options choose "Power" and then select the Dream Creature you would like to level up. The second way is fight Dream Creatures that are stronger than you. Q: Is there a way to earn money easier? A: Yes, go to an Item Shop and then buy like 20 Power Gems(any kind of Gem works) and sell it back, repeat this until you get 999 Animite in your pocket. Q: How do I find Orathan F.? A: In the Arderial world map, look for the two huge mountains and just keep walking through them. Q: Why did you put Gameshark Codes, they're evil!? A: Well the purpose of the gameshark codes are for your exploring purposes only. By this I mean, if you're like my good friend(on the GameFAQs Message Boards) and you use your Star Keys where you're not supposed too, you could use the Gameshark Codes to get some Star Keys. Or you could restart your game, but then again, there really isn't anybody _that_ honorable. Q: I used up all my Star Keys! On top of that, where I'm not supposed to! A: If you're absolutley sure you searched everywhere, then you could try using some Gameshark Codes, but if you're like an honor player, you could just restart your game!(Yeah Right, no one could be _this_ honorable) Q: Is the term "Shadow Geyser" really that fruity? A: Well if you want, you could call it a Core Gate. Q: Is there an easier way to beat Zet? A: Actually yes! You could download an emulator(I recommend Dboy) and then use "Save State" this will freeze you're current picture or image on the screen so you could easily load it again! It's a good idea to save right before you fight, since the game doesn't allow you. This really works on ALL Magi. Q: How do I get around Confusion? A: Make sure you have no Dream Creatures out and then your confused Dream Creature that is confused will not be able to attack anyone and it will attack the opponent! Q: How do I get around the effect Hiccups? A: This is really hard to answer. One: I don't know why they occur, but it happened to me dozens of times. As of June 28 2001, I received 61 emails alone regarding this subject, and I can't really answer them. Well here's somethings, this makes you lose one turn or more. Anways my Chaos Jile had hiccups for some reason. I'm guessing is that you train your that paticular Dream Creature to much (IE: Always using this Dream Creature in battle) That's my asumtion, but it probably is wrong. You could rest safe and sure that I am working on this very much. Sorry I couldn't help you more. Q: This is not Magi-Nation releated...but how do you write FAQs? A: Hmm...this is a good question asked to me by about 3 people, yes, that's not an overwhelming number but I got to live with it. This Magi-Nation FAQ is one my _earlier_ ones, and well, it's one of the worser ones. If you want to see some of my better FAQs, try looking at the Pokemon Crystal FAQ from Goldenrod on. You can get started by going here: http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/contribute/howtowrite.html this is CJayC's comprehensive writing guide that he put together, and he's the owner of GameFAQs, so if you want to become a FAQ Writer, read that page of info. Well that's all the questions I could think off. If you have some email me here, and I will be more than happy to add them. -TJ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- DualSummon ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Special Ability that we saw Agram use so many times. I can't thank Dan, SSj472 enough for finding this secret. It requires Gameshark =( to get the unobtainable item known as "Ornate Awl". First of all, use the Gameshark to get Ornate Awl. And then read these instructions... Items Needed: Ornate Awl, Hollow Stool, Funguside Format Your Game PAK! U HEARD ME! FORMAT THE GOSH DAMNED THING! (Since I'm not 100% sure on the code, dont try it unless you are really desperate) After that, start a game, and follow the Ormagon Subquest to the point of where you get to Ormagons "FUNGUS ROOM". There, use the Ornate Awl, AND REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE GAME SAYS OR HAPPENS, USE HOLLOW STOOL AS FAST AS POSSIBLE! THen you will fight a super team of Ormys, 4 to be exact (goooood luck) Then after they're dead, u might notice that u can press select while highlighting summon, DualSmmn Will appear in place, and dats dat! -Dan, SSj472 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART XV: Credits ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CJayC: For posting this FAQ Evil: For the block kicking in the 3rd Geyser, and the whole Shadow Hold Walkthrough.
