Important stuff to get in the dungeon: Level 12 - Blue Collar Level 15 - Oil pot Level 20 - Blue cape Level 25 - White medal (kill Picket) Level 28 - Healing herb Level 30 - You'll meet Beldo (Plot) Level 40 - Ultimate Egg (Final battle) E. About the Icons Nico, Selfi, Fur, Patty, Vivian, Mia, Cherll, Beldo (defeated) F. About the girls and How they'll appear: Always give them flowers (give Vivian and Mia your gift BEFORE talking to them). If they're not ready for flowers give them a rubber duck, cream or handbag. Just be kind and things will work out right! Nico: Help build fountain (2,000g). Protect the beggar in the fountain from Ghosh. Selfi: Help her when she needs help in the tower. Fur: Always buy something. Always give her octopus balls when it's available. Patty: Always eat at her place. Try all their food (to get idea of what they are). Order Shining prawn when you get to be alone with her. Vivian: Always talk to the girl in the bar and she'll talk about the blue caped guy of hers. When she did talk about the blue caped guy, get the "Blue cape" from level 20 and show it to her. The bar will close down and it's your job to persuade her to open it up again. When it opens up, Vivian will be dancing on stage. Build her a Theatre and she'll dance there. When she gets down, asks her out and bring her to the bar. By this time you'll have her icon, if not, after her show, give her flowers and talk to her. You might get an invitation to the swimming pool (make sure it's fixed or she will not ask you k?). You can also do a show with Fon and she'll be watching the show so better be good. Mia : Build a library. She'll be there when it's built. Help her up when Ghosh pushes her around. Get the swimming pool fixed and take her there if she wants to. Cherll: Always talk to the doctor and go build a hospital. Cherll will appear at the house north of the hospital. She'll drop her toy so pick it up and bring it to her. Always visit her and when you're strong enough, go get the "Healing herb" in level 28. Give the "Healing herb" to the doctor and tell him not to tell Cherll it came from you (though you can go for it and let the doc tell her it was you =). It will take about 4-5 returns from the dungeon for her to get fully cured. When she talks about wanting to help at the hospital, agree with her. Always visit her at the hospital when she becomes a nurse. G. What to answer in the Theatre: 1. O 2. X 3. O 4. O 5. X 6. O 7. O 8. O 9. X 10. X 11. O 12. X 13. O H. Something about fusion: If we fuse a fire pet with a water pet, the magic of the water pet can level up while the inherited fire magic won't because water beats fire. If we fuse a fire pet with a wind pet, the magic of the fire pet can level up but the inherited wind magic won't because fire beats wind. Fire beats Wind, Wind beats Water, and Water beats Fire =) So now, if we fuse a Fire pet (with brid) with another fire pet (with rise), we can have a pet with both magic and will both level up. Same goes with two water pets and wind pets. Now comes the best part. Let's say you have a Snowman and a Nyuel egg. Go hatch the Snowman at the hut and don't hatch the Nyuel egg. Bring them both in the tower and go bring Kewn for back up if you want to. Now, we need to find a Leva fruit. The Barong in floor 16 might help. Try to get as much exp. as you can with your main character (level 30+ would be good) . Now go hatch the Nyuel egg so we can have a lvl.30 Nyuel (not Battnel because we hatched it past lvl.20) with a lvl.30 DeHeal. Collar him. Now, collar the Snowman with a lvl.1 DeWall and feed it the Leva fruit so we can have a Snowman and not a Nyuel. Fuse them . Now we have a lvl.1 Snowman with a lvl.1 DeWall and lvl.30 DeHeal! Gain 20 levels for the Snowman and we'll have a "Saber" with lvl.20 DeWall and lvl.49 DeHeal! I. Things you need to know (Strategy stuff): You need 2 saves for this game, one for the town and one for the dungeon. If ever you get killed in the dungeon, go back and load you last town save so you'll never loose you upgraded sword and shield. Don't worry about the experience your pets gained it is not that hard to get experience. Don't want to loose a tower save? Go make a backup of it in another memory card and only use the backup so you can always have the original when you need to load it. You can even complete the game with just one visit if you try hard enough. The best sword is the Gold sword for it won't rust so go use red sand on it. Use whatever sword you pick up while your Gold sword isn't strong enough. The best shield is Mirror shield for it won't rust and it reflects magic so use blue sand on it. Go save cash and upgrade your monster hut once. If you're feeling generous, go donate 1,000g for the fountain (don't donate anything less for it's such a waste. Fountain is 2,000g). Magic balls are more expensive than weapons/items so if your full and you're to choose between magic balls and other stuff, choose magic balls. When you can afford the racetrack (30,000g) go build one. From then on, when you need cash for something, just go bet on the racetrack till you get enough for what you need. How to win? Look at this: -1-|-2-|-3-| -2-| 10| / | / | -3-| 15| 6 | / | -4-| 5 | 2 | 3 | One is you so don't bet on the first line (1-2, 1-3, 1-4), meaning you'll let the others win. Thus leaving us with 2-3, 2-4 and 3-4. If you bet 2-3, you'll get 6x your money, if you bet 2-4, you'll get 2x your money and if you bet 3-4, you'll get 3x your money. So you'll likely to bet on 2-3. Odds are 1/3 and the higher the number (6 here) means the better chance of winning, though if the number is greater than 20 start praying. Just go save your game before betting and save it again if you feel like it. Want more money? Go build a Casino and try your luck in the roulette. You can get up to 6x your bet if your lucky. Now that earning money is out of the way, let's get on to strategy. I completed the game with a level 35 Kewne, a level 35 Blume and a level 34 Death (Clown will turn to Death upon reaching level 20) Meaning I carried Kewne first and when I got Blume I found it good so I carried him too. I could have used a Kraken but his mp is 70 and I've already beefed up my Blume so I didn't fool around with anything else. Nyuel is much better for Nyuel got Heal but I didn't get one during my second game. I gave up on my first game when I fooled around with fusion. I then got me a Clown (Kewne and Blume at that time is level 30+) and found out that his LoDown gets +2 exp. rather than +1 whenever he levels up so I carried him as well. Now I got a Gold sword +5 (I got tired getting red sand for my Vital sword just losing it to rust.) A Mirror shield+30 (Gold sword should be like that if I used my brains much earlier) and 3 pets. Don't worry about pita fruits, you'll get some along the way, also some water crystal if you're lucky. Don't pick up anymore weapons, shields and go rack up on magic balls like fire and pillar except blinding ball and protection balls like white and repel for it's almost useless. Use truth scroll with the balls when you find one so you'll know your limit. You'll need those balls for when you get to level 30+ better just run to the nearest elevator up to 40 because the monsters, especially dragons and golems, are so hard that only those magic balls can hit them hard long range. You'll also need to pick up those restore, holy scrolls for restore can revive your pets and with a holy scroll, the monsters can't attack you! You'll need one slot for wind of course and if there are still vacant slots, fill them with glasses and loupes of your choice. Don't use AI 5. Always have your pets in AI 4 and 3. Use AI 2 or 1 only if you're sure about it. The thing here is to get as much level as you can get alone and just bring out your pet if you're at the same level of experience as your pet has or you feel like it's getting tough alone. Thus saving you from a lot of pita fruits. You can also get help if you're afraid of Pickets stealing stuff from you. Get as much level as you can get at the lower levels, let the stage drop off from an earthquake if you feel like it. So when you get to the higher levels, you won't be easily bullied alone. In level 40 make sure Kewne is with you (dead or alive =) I won't spoil it for you so just make sure you got KEWNE! If you don't got Kewne, good luck and tell me your story afterwards =). J.
