I hope this FAQ will help you find what your looking for. If you have any other questions feel free to email me and Ill get back to you as fast as possible. This guide will be updated every time I defeat a new boss. Special Thanks: Goes out to the Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Official Strategy Guide for the monster stats, without them the numbers wouldn't be here. ############################################################################### BOSS: The Guardian ############################################################################### Recommended Levels: 11-12 ________________________ | Attack | 52 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 45 | | Agility | 40 | | Speed | 19 | | Wisdom | 20 | | Magic END | 20 | | Range | 30 | | Luck | 1 | | Hit Points | 550 | | Exp Points | 121 | | Silver | 100 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Alright, now before you go anything, make sure you use the system option to set the party order with Hiro out in front, and then Lucia and Gwyn way down on the bottom and all the way back, they cannot take much damage. Hiro should use Poe Sword (make sure you have the rusty dagger equipped, and shame on you for not having it done when you first got it a long time ago!). Gwyn will be either healing, or casting spells the entire fight, never have him use his physical attack, as it will simply ruin the order. When the Guardian flashes with the light all around him before the round, have Gwyn cast Shattered Sword, and then on the next turn cast Broken Armor, to offset the jacked up stats. Lucia won’t do anything but stand there. When Hiro gets low on HP, have Gwyn use his litany, you shouldn’t need to waste any herbs. Depending on how much MP Gwyn has, use Broken Shield a couple times even when the Guardian doesn’t alter his stats, so Hiro will do more damage. I was able to defeat him in 9 attacks using a couple of extra spells from Gwyn. After the battle Hiro will most likely level up to level 12. ############################################################################ BOSS: Plantela ############################################################################ Recommended Levels: 15-16 ________________________ | Attack | 15 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 75 | | Agility | 30 | | Speed | 52 | | Wisdom | 20 | | Magic END | 35 | | Range | 0 | | Luck | 1 | | Hit Points | 1800 | | Exp Points | 420 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Now the Plantela actually has three forms, but it doesn’t matter because they are HO triggered and you’re total amount inflicted is always going to be the same. Hiro should of course use Poe Sword his latest and greatest attack at the moment. Ronfar should cast Saint Litany on Hiro his first turn and can throw Anger Dice (great damage) when no one needs medical attention, but other wise he should use his Litany’s to see that everyone stays conscious. Jean, with her cat like speed will attack first, so she can use herbs if necessary to make sure everyone is ok, and use Moth or Bee Dance, but usually Moth since it takes less MP. Once the Plantela is dead Jean joins your party, and Giban and everyone are saved. Plus, now the vines blocking your way are gone, so you can proceed on to Takkar. ############################################################################### Boss: Magic Tester LXI ############################################################################### Recommended Levels: 18-19 ________________________ | Attack | 90 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 90 | | Agility | 30 | | Speed | 36 | | Wisdom | 30 | | Magic END | 5 | | Range | 50 | | Luck | 10 | | Hit Points | 2700 | | Exp Points | 1080 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ When fighting the Magic Tester, Hiro will downgrade and use Boomerang which for some reason does more damage, I guess due to the Testers bad balance? Ronfar will be your healer and can roll the bones, but for his first turn he should cast Saint Litany on Jean like you did for Hiro earlier to help out with healing periodically. Jean should use Moth dance again, no real reasoning, just the cheapest for what you get. Basically it has 3 forms and you’re going to have to just outlast him. According to Zach Meston and the WD guys, the AI can beat it 50% of the time, but the problem with that is you can’t control what items get used, so proceed there at your own risk. Now a lot of people have trouble with this boss, probably due to the lack of big time vulnerabilities it has and your small amount of MP, well all anyone can really tell you is keep trying, and note its tendencies, such as when it is floating and sparking, it will hit everyone with a crazy spiral beam. Once you’ve defeated the Tester, the girl from Takkar calls you idiots and then introduced herself as Lemina Ausa, Junior Premiere of the Magic Guild of Vane. She will attempt to persuade you into joining the guild, and then join your party to speed along what you have to do that is stopping you from joining. Then she will try to take you down a mountain on a magic carpet, and that’s never a good idea. ############################################################################### Boss: The Missing Link ############################################################################### Recommended Levels: 22-23 ________________________ | Attack | 60-135 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 65 | | Agility | 40-55 | | Speed | 5-70 | | Wisdom | 40 | | Magic END | 35-65 | | Range | 50 | | Luck | 5 | | Hit Points | 2700 | | Exp Points | 2600 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Ok hopefully you positioned the party like I said before you engaged what appears to be Working Designs version of the abominable snowman. This is pretty simple: Lemina who is your elemental magician needs to use Flame Shot the entire time; she will do very good damage. Hiro, you’re not so brawny swordsman should attack with Poe Sword the entire time (get used to that buddy). Have Jean use Herbs to heal when necessary (if you put her up top it will probably be on her anyway) and use her normal attack when you can afford to. Now having Jean heal allows Ronfar to throw Anger Dice which can do potentially over 100 damage. Also note that this is the first battle Lucia will actually participate in seriously since the Spire. She will use Napalm Shot and other healing and defensive spells. This should be a very easy fight for you. After defeating the Link, you’ll see a girl passed out nearby and between the 5 of you come to the stunning conclusion that it’s the missing girl, Maria. She even has the coveted grass in her hand, so let’s go save a baby eh? Anyway, you will kind of magically appear back at the Mayor’s house, but there is one little problem. As you found out when she woke up on the mountain, Maria has lost her memory and thinks she is going to travel with you, and leave the baby she doesn’t think is hers behind. Luckily the baby starts to cry and averts her emotions and allows you to make a clean getaway, rescue well done. Anyway, head south to Meribia, home of the Martial Arts guru Master Lunn. ############################################################################### Boss: Fire Phoenix ############################################################################### Recommended Levels: 29-28 ________________________ | Attack | 70-115 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 80 | | Agility | 25 | | Speed | 50-62 | | Wisdom | 90 | | Magic END | 80 | | Range | 40 | | Luck | 5 | | Hit Points | 5000 | | Exp Points | 8000 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Use the order command to have Ronfar and Leo up at the top of the screen, with Leo to the far left and Ronfar all the way back, then have Hiro the far left down at the bottom of the screen. Have Hiro equipped with the healing ring and crest. Hiro should attack with Poe Sword on every turn, you shouldn’t run out of MP. Leo should use Flash Blade, he shouldn’t run out of MP either. Have Ronfar cast saint litany on Leo in the first round, on himself in the second, and then just use Calm Litany every single turn. You will be doing about 500 damage every round like this, and you never have to heal with items, so it should take about 10 rounds and then you’re done with the fire Phoenix. Once it is extinguished, you see what the light in the torch was really supposed to look like, and the fire in the city is put out. ############################################################################### Boss: Ghaleon ############################################################################### Recommended Levels: Doesn’t Matter ________________________ | Attack | N/A | | Attacks | N/A | | Defense | N/A | | Agility | N/A | | Speed | N/A | | Wisdom | N/A | | Magic END | N/A | | Range | N/A | | Luck | N/A | | Hit Points | N/A | | Exp Points | N/A | | Silver | N/A | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ It should be fairly obvious that you cannot beat Ghaleon in your present state, he was a sage and a magic emperor for gods sake. He will take away you’re MP, and DON’T WASTE ANY TYPE OF ITEM you can’t win this battle anyway. Just keep attacking him, he’ll say things are getting interesting, he’ll draw his sword, you’ll last a few attacks and then he eventually beats you. Then he shoots his mouth off at “Althena” and tells her he isn’t he lapdog, and that the title Dragonmaster does not amuse him. Leo who apparently didn’t pick up on that little quarrel saves Hiro’s life, but does not fend for Lucia. When you wake up you will be imprisoned in some sort of electric cage. ############################################################################### Boss: Leo the White Knight ############################################################################### Recommended Levels: 31-32 ________________________ | Attack | 60-200 | | Attacks | 2 | | Defense | 200 | | Agility | 50 | | Speed | 30 | | Wisdom | 25 | | Magic END | 60 | | Range | 18 | | Luck | 10 | | Hit Points | 75 | | Exp Points | 5000 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Leo really isn’t all that hard to beat, he’s actually very easy to take down. You only need to hit him with Poe Sword four consecutive times to bring him down, the problem is after three the first time he will heal himself totally. If you are equipped with the healing crest and ring you really shouldn’t have to heal yourself because you will also gain HP on his off turns. After he heals once you should be able to get in the four consecutive, if not just keep going and only heal if you really need to. Once you’ve beaten him he will give you the destiny, and tell you how to get to the White Dragon Cave, where you can release the power of the White Dragon. ############################################################################### Boss: White Fiend ############################################################################### Recommended Levels: 34-33 ________________________ | Attack | 100 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 100 | | Agility | 100 | | Speed | 43-82 | | Wisdom | 40-99 | | Magic END | 80-99 | | Range | 0 | | Luck | 10 | | Hit Points | 4500 | | Exp Points | 11000 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Basically what you need to do before starting this battle, is move jean all the way close to the fiend, and then everyone else to the back right boundary and spread them out as far and evenly as you can. As usual Hiro will be using Poe Sword the ENTIRE time, and there should be no reason for him to run out MP at all. You can give Jean a healing ring if you want, but it’s easier to just cast Saint Litany and then have Ronfar use Anger Dice or Calm Litany as is necessary, but his attack won’t really swing the battle on way or the other. Lucia will chip in with Napalm Shot and random healing every round, which is an added bonus, because coined with Ronfar together they almost add up to a good attack margin. As already mentioned Jean will be using her standard attack, and Lemina will use flame shot, EXCEPT when a circle is under the fiend, then she needs to cast Erase Magic, and if the penta-star thing is below the field, she needs to cast Dispel Magic, otherwise the fiends attacks will be aided by the water element and he will become stronger on both sides of the fight. Judging from the fiends weak HP, this really shouldn’t take long. Once the battle is done, walk into the next area and Nall will instruct you on how to release his power, and then show himself in his true form. Ruby makes some annoying comment about thinking like a Dragon, but who likes her anyway? Lunn apparently has the next Aura, that is of the Blue Dragon, but you need to make a pit stop in Horam first to gain entry to where Lunn is fighting. To get there sail through the now cleared water pass, it’s the dinky little green town. ############################################################################### Boss: Master Lunn ############################################################################### Recommended Level: 35 ________________________ | Attack | 100-150 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 130 | | Agility | 15-20 | | Speed | 60 | | Wisdom | 90 | | Magic END | 100 | | Range | 0 | | Luck | 5 | | Hit Points | 2100 | | Exp Points | 8800 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ There really isn’t any master strategy to beating Lunn, just a couple simple tactics and then waiting out the necessary HP. First since Ronfar won’t be around equip her with a healing ring. The only attack you really need to worry about is when he gets into a high attack stance (sticks out 1 arm and leg in a standing guarded position) but you can easily avoid this by simply using the defend option to move Jean up or down. Unless you use your normal attack, which you shouldn’t, ever, Lunn will not move his position on the battle field. Plus, once you’ve moved once, you don’t have to again, he’ll get into that position and then just stand there! Have Jean use Dopple Dance and Blue Dragon Palm. Lunn has an attack where heals himself (stands straight up, arms down) which is the only reason this lasts more than 4-5 rounds. Either way, just keep attacking and using Dopple Dance when it runs out, and this is a cake walk. ############################################################################### Boss: Blue Fiend ############################################################################### Recommended Level: 40-39 ________________________ | Attack | 120 | | Attacks | 1-2 | | Defense | 120 | | Agility | 100 | | Speed | 46-91 | | Wisdom | 80-110 | | Magic END | 40 | | Range | 0-16 | | Luck | 10-30 | | Hit Points | 5000 | | Exp Points | 16500 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Well, if you used my optional over-leveling plan (which is all part of an elaborate scheme to have Triple Sword very early in the game, which just busts open leveling up) you are over-prepared for this fight and can basically just sit back and watch the HP fly, if not, you can still win pretty easily. But do note this is the last really easy dungeon for a while, hope you enjoyed it. Basically you should just use the order from last time with Jean taking all the hits, and also equip her with the recently acquired white dragon crest, so when the fiend is sucking in air she can cast white dragon protect, otherwise she can use her regular attack. Hiro will be using Poe Sword, and Ronfar can cast Saint Litany on Jean, plus leave her with a healing ring. Then Ronfar can use Anger Dice, and Lemina should use Erase Magic when Jean has to cast WDP to cancel out the stats on itself the fiend boosts up. Otherwise Lemina should just use flame shot. ############################################################################### Fight with Borgan ############################################################################### Recommended Levels: 38-37 ________________________ | Attack | 150-200 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 180-200 | | Agility | 50 | | Speed | 10-200 | | Wisdom | 70-127 | | Magic END | 120 | | Range | 0 | | Luck | 10 | | Hit Points | 4200 | | Exp Points | 18700 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Ok now anyone who has played the Saturn original knows how much harder the fight with Borgan in that game was, so I don’t want to here ANYONE complaining about this fight, although it is a pain in the butt not really being able to have Lemina do any damage. Basically you want to order everyone so Jean is as close to Borgan as possible, and everyone else is spread out as far away from him as possible. Make sure all of your healing rings and the white dragon crest are in use (Jean gets the WDC). Hiro will be surprising us this time with Poe Sword, Ronfar can throw anger dice, but should cast Saint Litany on Jean in the first round, and heal as needed. Lemina should just continually cast Power Flame on Hiro and Jean switching off every turn. Jean will cast WDP when all three orbs are aglow, and just use Blue Dragon Palm if not. This is not that tough a fight, you should be able to break down his guard barrier in one turn. ############################################################################### BOSS: The Black Fiend ############################################################################### Recommended Levels: 41-40 ________________________ | Attack | 50-150 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 450 | | Agility | 50 | | Speed | 62-116 | | Wisdom | 50-140 | | Magic END | 0 | | Range | 0 | | Luck | 1-10 | | Hit Points | 5000 | | Exp Points | 24200 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ This time for your positions, move Hiro and Ronfar up to the front, and have everyone else on the back, and space them all as far as possible, also make sure Ronfar cannot be paralyzed. After that just have him use Saint Litany and other healing spells as needed. Hiro for a change will be using Cross-Boomerang, Jean will be using WDP when its wings are spread, and then just healing items/defend when they’re not. Lemina will use Ice Arrows every single turn. When the fight is over, you will cast the aura into the crystal and the black dragon will be freed, only one to go. ############################################################################### BOSS: Mauri's ID ############################################################################### Recommended Levels: 43-42 ________________________ | Attack | 200 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 150 | | Agility | 50 | | Speed | 15-104 | | Wisdom | 40 | | Magic END | 100 | | Range | 99 | | Luck | 10 | | Hit Points | 2000-3500 | | Exp Points | 29430 | | Silver | 437 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Alright this boss is a little different from the ones you’ve faced, in that how you navigate with Ronfar will actually dictate how long it takes to win, but here we will cover the quickest way possible (EXP is the same either way). First though, let’s run down battle tactics shall we? Hiro, as usual will be giving 110% with Poe Sword each round, in Ronfar’s absence you can just heal with items as necessary. Jean will use Blue Dragon Palm, Lemina will use Ice Arrows, and Leo will use Flash Blade. The Official Guide says Lemina should use Blue Dragon Healing, but I disagree, on the grounds that it’s quicker to just have each player heal themselves, and Lemina has one of the strongest attacks, so it would be wise to not draw her from the battle. Lucia will freeload with Napalm Shot most of the time, and almost always on the wrong head, so no big help there. Anyway, as for Ronfar, you will have to watch the memories that show up as crystals in your path, after doing so (the first) talk to the 2nd Mauri from the right, and turn her down. After this you will fight 1 head (the one that lights up) when it dies you will be back inside. Watch the next memory and then talk to the Mauri in the center. A giant head will emerge (that I am not going to make sexual reference to, however easy it might be) and you will fight this to kill the boss for good. One the inside, once you’ve taken down the final head, Ronfar will find Mauri who knows the evil she was forced to carry out and wishes to be left alone to suffer within herself. Ronfar, who plans to keep his promise pledges to carry whatever burdens Mauri on his back, and that he can’t live without her. Now as Lucia mentioned a little late, to come out, Ronfar must unlock Mauri’s love, which he does, they kiss, come out and its all good in the hood. BUT, you still have to venture into the Red Dragon Cave, so with the Aura from Mauri, off you go! ############################################################################### BOSS: Red Fiend ############################################################################### Recommended Levels: 45-44 ________________________ | Attack | 200 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 100 | | Agility | 50 | | Speed | 50-150 | | Wisdom | 15-25 | | Magic END | 0 | | Range | 0 | | Luck | 30 | | Hit Points | 11000 | | Exp Points | 36300 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ This is not a very difficult fight, just make sure you have all of your equipment on someone that defends extra against fire. Hiro will be using Poe Sword as normal, while Ronfar will cast Divine (should have it by now) Litany and then be healing people up after that. Destiny Dice does do some damage, but it’s really not worth it, so don’t take the chance and just heal people. When the fire ring appears beneath the fiend, Jean needs to cast White Dragon Protect, and she will be using Blue Dragon Palm on every other turn. Lemina will cast Ice Arrows, and she should cast Erase Magic on the rounds following Jean having to cast White Dragon Protect. The Fiends HP is much higher than the other 3, but so are you attack capabilities, and it is vulnerable to the Ice Magic, so make good use. ############################################################################### BOSS: The False Althena ############################################################################### Recommended Levels: 47-46 (or the Triple Sword plan) ________________________ | Attack | 20-220 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 10 | | Agility | 50 | | Speed | 30-200 | | Wisdom | 130 | | Magic END | 10 | | Range | 50 | | Luck | 99 | | Hit Points | 10000 | | Exp Points | 40000 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ This really is not that tough a fight, if you have Triple Sword (Poe Sword if not) it’s a joke, Hiro will do 1500 alone. Jean should use White Dragon Protect when the snakes are active, or just Blue Dragon Palm otherwise for very good damage itself. Lemina should cast Power Drive on Hiro the first 2 rounds to really boost him, he’ll do like 2000 damage, and then she should use Ice Arrows. Ronfar can cast Divine Litany and then just heal as necessary. You are at a point now where the 40000 EXP gained might not give you enough to level up, especially if your have Triple Sword etc, if you went back and leveled up A LOT like I said, it doesn’t matter, but if not, tisk tisk. When the fight is over, continue through the Goddess Tower (above) ############################################################################### BOSS: Ghaleon ############################################################################### Recommended Level: Whatever you’re at is where you’re at for now. ________________________ | Attack | 300 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 280 | | Agility | 100 | | Speed | 30-100 | | Wisdom | 120 | | Magic END | 120 | | Range | 99 | | Luck | 10 | | Hit Points | 7000 | | Exp Points | 50000 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ The first round with Ghaleon, you still don’t have any magic so just have everyone use their attacks except Lemina, who can heal people with Healing Nuts if necessary. Once you do the mandatory damage, Ghaleon will really get into it and give back your MP for a real fight. Have Hiro use Triple Sword or Poe Sword, Leo use Flash Blade, Jean use Blue Dragon Palm or White Dragon Protect when Ghaleon’s sword is aflame. Ronfar can cast Divine Litany and heal after that. Once you have defeated the Dragonmaster, some things come to light. ############################################################################### Zophar Form 1 ############################################################################### ________________________ | Attack | 250 | | Attacks | 2 | | Defense | 300 | | Agility | 100 | | Speed | 10-76 | | Wisdom | 110 | | Magic END | 130 | | Range | 50 | | Luck | 10 | | Hit Points | 1600 | | Exp Points | 0 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ In this form (the first of 4) Hiro will be using Triple Sword on every turn, and then fall back on his regular attack if Magic is out, but that shouldn’t be a problem (DON’T USE ITEMS YET!). Jean should use White Dragon Protect against his 2nd attack (they go in order in form 1) and then Blue Dragon Palm the rest of the way. Ronfar should cast Divine Litany and then act as the group healer while Lemina should just use Power Drive on people. This fight goes up to 16000 HP, but with all that’s going on it shouldn’t take TOO long. Once the damage is done he will transform to his 2nd form. ############################################################################### Zophar Form 2 (Sub-Form) ############################################################################### ________________________ | Attack | 40-200 | | Attacks | 1-2 | | Defense | 250-280 | | Agility | 100 | | Speed | 10-996 | | Wisdom | 100-2000| | Magic END | 90-150 | | Range | 50 | | Luck | 10 | | Hit Points |6000-17000 | | Exp Points | 0 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ This is probably the 2nd easiest part of the Zophar fight, since you won’t be attacking at all. Use the defend option to spread everyone out into an X, starting with Hiro on top closest to Zophar. After 5 turns Lucia will break free of Zophar’s hold and totally heal you. This is why you didn’t want to use any of your items, you will need them yet. Also note that you aren’t defending here because it’s better than attacking, your attacks do zero damage, so don’t waste the MP. After the 5 turns Zophar morphs to his third stage. ############################################################################### Zophar Form 3 ############################################################################### ________________________ | Attack | 40-200 | | Attacks | 1-2 | | Defense | 250-280 | | Agility | 100 | | Speed | 10-30 | | Wisdom | 100-2000 | | Magic END | 90-150 | | Range | 50 | | Luck | 10 | | Hit Points | 6000-17000| | Exp Points | 0 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ This is by far the hardest form you will have to face. Don’t worry about his hands, just go right for the head, like killing a snake. Now, Jean needs to cast White Dragon Protect EVERY ROUND or everyone will end up dead real fast. Ronfar can’t do much on the attacking end, so in the first round cast Divine Litany and then just have him keep feeding Jean Starlights or Silver Lights, just get her the MP she needs. Hiro will use Triple Sword on the head every round. Lemina should cast Power Drive on Hiro, and if Ronfar has to heal (sometimes he will) she can get Jean MP items. Leo will attack the head with Flash Blade every turn unless an emergency item is needed. Now, although Jean is casting WDP, Zophar can get through it, so be careful, you still might need to heal sometimes. Once you’ve done the necessary damage you will get to his 4th and easiest form. ############################################################################### Zophar Final Stand (4) ############################################################################### ________________________ | Attack | 220 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 260 | | Agility | 50 | | Speed | 78 | | Wisdom | 130 | | Magic END | 90 | | Range | 50 | | Luck | 10 | | Hit Points | 2000 | | Exp Points | 0 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Alright in his fourth and final stage, Zophar will be in a state of denial. This form is weak, and Hiro will take care of it all by himself. Lucia will take care of any healing needed, so Hiro can just use Triple Sword every turn. After a few rounds Zophar will be no more. Lucia will attack Zophar if no healing is needed, and don’t use your MP items, you’ll need them later, and it really doesn’t matter either way, it’s only 2000 HP. ############################################################################### Boss: Phantom Menace ############################################################################### ________________________ | Attack | 200 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 300 | | Agility | 50 | | Speed | 30 | | Wisdom | 110 | | Magic END | 110 | | Range | 50 | | Luck | 10 | | Hit Points | 20000 | | Exp Points | 55000 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ This Boss is so easy if you use this plan along with the item stockpiling explained earlier, you will be amazed at how efficiently it works compared to how you used to fight the dragon fiends. Ok, here is what is going to happen: Hiro: Triple Sword (Every turn) Ronfar: Normal Attack - Give magic supplies when needed. (Lemina/Hiro) Jean: Blue Dragon Palm (Every turn) Lemina: White Dragon Protect (Every turn) Leo: Any Magic attacks you want. The beauty of this system is that you never have to heal, as long as you use Ronfar to keep the rest of the parties magic sustained, so the Boss cant even do any damage. And that in turn keeps you from having to use other items. Now you might say that this is going to run Lemina's Magic out so fast, if you leveled up Lemina can do White Dragon Protect quite a few times before you have to do anything for her. I was level 56 when I fought this and it was simple. ############################################################################### Boss: Water Guardian ############################################################################### ________________________ | Attack | 40-250 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 240 | | Agility | 50 | | Speed | 30 | | Wisdom | 110 | | Magic END | 110 | | Range | 50 | | Luck | 10 | | Hit Points | 20000 | | Exp Points | 60000 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ This Boss is so easy if you use this plan along with the item stockpiling explained earlier, you will be amazed at how efficiently it works compared to how you used to fight the dragon fiends. I was level 57 when I fought this and it was simple. ############################################################################### Boss: Hero's Talisman ############################################################################### ________________________ | Attack | 200 | | Attacks | 2 | | Defense | 200 | | Agility | 100 | | Speed | 90 | | Wisdom | 150 | | Magic END | 150 | | Range | 35 | | Luck | 5 | | Hit Points | 3000 | | Exp Points | 0 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ This boss is pretty easy, since its HP is much lower than its 2 predecessors. Don't even worry about the 2 things with it. Have Hiro use Triple sword on every attack, Jean use Dragon Palm on every attack, Ronfar attack and use magic items to sustain Lemina's magic, Lemina use White Dragon protect or Stat Boost for Hiro, depending on how the enemy attacks. Have Leo use Flash blade or stat boost on himself, whichever you want. Just go for the Talisman (in the back) because once its dead the rest is easy. When theyre all dead get the talisman and equip it for Hiro. ############################################################################### Boss: Lost Guardians ############################################################################### ________________________ | Knight | | Attack | 230 | | Attacks | 2 | | Defense | 300 | | Agility | 100 | | Speed | 85 | | Wisdom | 100 | | Magic END | 100 | | Range | 40 | | Luck | 10 | | HP | 7000 | | EXP | 17000 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ The Knight is the easiest of the Guardians, he is resistant to magic attacks, which means he is vulnerable to physical attacks. Hiro should use triple sword, Jean can use Blue Dragon Palm, Leo should use flash blade and Ronfar just use his normal attack or anger dice. Lemina can do whatever, she isn’t a very big factor in this fight. Take care of this one second after the Mage Guardian, as it shouldn’t take more than 2 or 3 rounds of everything attacking to kill him. ________________________ | Mage | | Attack | 150 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 100 | | Agility | 150 | | Speed | 60 | | Wisdom | 100 | | Magic END | 400 | | Range | 40 | | Luck | 10 | | HP | 7000 | | EXP | 17000 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Your going to want to get rid of this one first, because he will heal the other two guardians, and make it a pain in the butt. Have everyone attack him first, and he should be gone in no more than four rounds I’d say. Hiro should use triple sword, Ronfar anger dice, Jean should use Blue Dragon Palm and Leo should use Flash Blade. Lemina can either boost attack power for Hiro, or she can attack with Pyro Pillar. Once this one is gone the other two are pretty simple. Spread the party out before you start the fight though, because the Angel Guardian does an attack than can be contained to damage only one person if you have them all spread out. ________________________ | Angel | | Attack | 250 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 200 | | Agility | 100 | | Speed | 91 | | Wisdom | 100 | | Magic END | 300 | | Range | 400 | | Luck | 10 | | HP | 7000 | | EXP | 17000 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Resistant to physical attacks makes the Angel Guardian a pain in the butt, and it also means that Lemina is a HUGE factor in beating him. She should use catastrophe on every turn, which will do 1800 damage a pop. Have Hiro use squall and Jean just heal the group or do her normal attack. Ronfar can do whatever, he doesn’t really matter either. Leo should be equipped with the Red Dragon Crest, which will enable Red Dragon Anger, which will do 500 or so damage. Have him cast this a few times, and then use his cobra rock attack. Once this one is dead, go to the next room and get Alex’s Ocarina, which is going to let you listen to ALL of the music from the game! ############################################################################### Boss: Star Dragon ############################################################################### ________________________ | Attack | 250 | | Attacks | 1 | | Defense | 250 | | Agility | 50 | | Speed | 30 | | Wisdom | 100 | | Magic END | 100 | | Range | 50 | | Luck | 10 | | Hit Points | 10000 | | Exp Points | 0 | | Silver | 0 | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ You will talk to the Star Dragon, who guards the bridge to the Blue Spire, and then you will have to fight him, since he won't let you pass on your own. The fight is pretty simple 7-8 Triple Sword attacks and he's history. I didn't even have to heal because I used the ring that gives back HP every time. Once you defeat him he will say how he saw how much you love her and how great your skills are, then he will let you pass. Note: It is a very good idea to save in the foyer right before you go fight the Star Dragon, I know compared to others like the Black Fiend he is a joke, but you never know what could happen if your not paying attention, so just err on the side of caution so you don't lose all that progress.
