Range is also higher from up HELPFUL LEVEL UP TIPS 1) You can learn techniques faster even if you just swing at empty air. 2) Spirit Fruit in the spear techniques can be used to raise a characters level arbitrarily high. If you're trying to learn a new technique, the best thing to do is go to Tehapi Dunes after killing the original monster. Come from the Aposs side. It will always take the enemies at least three turns to reach your party if you stay where you originally show up. Just have all the characters who are trying to learn techniques swing their weapons until the enemies arrive. By the time the enemies get there, everyone will have mastered the new techniques. If you want to raise a character's level (regardless of how low the enemies' levels are), equip that character with a spear that has the Spirit Fruit technique. Again, go to the Tehapi Dunes from the Aposs side and carefully arrange your party to fit within a centered three five three pattern like this o o o o o o o o o o o (this is with eleven characters as you have for a while in Final Chapter...not all spaces would need to be filled). Cast Spirit Fruit as the first move once battle is engaged. The character will get five points for every person the spell hits. It is very easy to raise one full level every single battle, and the Tehapi Dunes battles are always very easy if you wait for the enemies to come to you. Hope this helps. -------------------------------------- | Flawless Battle Strategy To Gain EXP | -------------------------------------- Contributed by schezo@cephiro.com (Jego Bolinao ^_^) Thanks for being a big help! So I'll kinda, repay you with this really neat strategies! I kinda call it a "FLAWLESS BATTLE" because the enemies won't hit you a single bit (sometimes but very little damage), your mage gains a level (usually 85+exp, sometimes a 100!), all of your characters gain exp. (for SLC) and of course, getting money!!! So here goes ~~~THINGS TO REMEMBER~~~ 1. Always equip the BEST items, transfer your BEST moves, or the specified moves in the requirements list. 3. Be sure you DON'T KILL EACH OTHER, just HIT him 2. Don't panic if the enemy changes tactics, just keep on following this strategy and you'll soon find out why. 3. These are all Random battles. 4. Save money, just exchange weapons and armors from your other allies (especially the mage's weapons and armor) 5. I didn't include the items here... 6. I call characters by their equipments. 7. Follow directions... ~~~RAILROAD~~~ REQUIREMENTS: After having your first 7 characters. STRATEGY: You still don't have the heal light spell so this is up to you, just kill all the enemies, until the enemy mage is left, sorround him, and hit him a lil' bit (but DON'T kill him!), he'll cure himself and you, hit him again, he'll cure, you hit, he cures. So as you gain experience, he keeps healing and you can hit him again. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~RAILROAD~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ FLAWLESSNESS: 75% correct SUITABLE FOR LEVELS: 10 ~ 20+ LENGTH OF BATTLE: approx 10 mins. VICTOREEEEEEEEEEEE!!! ~~~ABOUT SLC~~~ SLC is the acronym for "Suggested Level of Characters", SLC is used as a guide for ALL of your characters' (not including helping characters) target level to make battle easier than lower levels. Make sure to have someone with the Unlock skill get the two Gobling Shields which have the RecoverMark skill on them which restores 15Hp each turn, and is cumulative *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 05-Danjou Forest *********************************************************************** Geil:2,400 Items:Pinwheel Enemies:Hellplant(2),Deathbug Novacula(V0,H14) Darkbird *********************************************************************** More of the same enemies here, so with the best armor, and strong magic you should be easily able to defeat the enemies with no problem. The Novacula which is located at the top of the structure cannot be gotten until you get the Blockmake skill from the Pickax that you recieve later in the game. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 06-Kutao Mountain *********************************************************************** Geil:2,800 Items:Urn Enemies:Deathbug,Hellplant,Darkbird Map-12(V11,H11) Eggword *********************************************************************** Another very easy battle, since you have Nicola whom can deal good amounts of damage. Make sure to get the Map-12 which leads to the secret battlefield of Queentia with the searchmark skill, which holds some pretty good treasure at this point of the game so its best to visit it now. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 07-Byron Manor *********************************************************************** Geil:3,000 Items:Halbert Enemies:Gigarat(3) Cutlass Bullion(V13,H16) *********************************************************************** The Gigarat's can poison your characters so bring someone with a couple of C-potions to heal them. Hit them with strong attacks, and make sure to have someone with a good move range find the Bullion, which is pretty useless as an item, but sells for 50,000 Geil *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 08-Byron Manor *********************************************************************** Geil:N/A Items:N/A Enemies:Lord Kossimo(35HP) *********************************************************************** Lord Kossimo's attack will never hit as long as you keep on moving around, so move in close, and attack Kossimo to easily defeat him. *********************************************************************** CHAPTER 1 *********************************************************************** Battle 09-Railroad *********************************************************************** Geil:5,000 Items:Halbert Enemies:EN Soldier(5) Fire Ring(V4,H35) ********************************************************************************* Pike has all of Yuri's stuff, and Vlad has all of Clive's stuff. Pike can kill the 3 soldiers right next to him with a strong magic spell, and the others can take card of the other two. This is probably the easiest fight in the whole chapter since the enemies only have 20HP each. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 10-Luxar Village *********************************************************************** Geil:6,000 Items:Cutlass Enemies:Thief(7) Graver V.Cape(V15,H17) Bandana(V7,H13) *********************************************************************** Now you have two new allies, but this battle is still pretty tough. Take out the mages as soon as possible, and then concentrate on the Spearmen since they can deal the highest amount of damage to your characters. Make sure to have some healing spells so you can heal some of your wounds. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 11-Bahtar Plains *********************************************************************** Geil:7,000 Items:Ballast Enemies:Godeau(150HP),EN Soldier(7) Shades(V1,H28) Hint-5(V11,H13) Urn(V1,H12) *********************************************************************** Godeau can deal lots of damage to your characters, so its best to take out all the soldiers before killing Godeau. Godeau will usually wait in the back until most of his troops are defeated. When you do finally engage Godeau make sure not to surround him, because his Dervish attack will cause 35 damage to all of your allies around him. Hit him with strong attacks until he falls. Its best to come back in a random battle to get the items in this stage. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 12-Fort Gusta *********************************************************************** Geil:8,000 Items:Ice Ring Enemies:EN Soldier(9) S-Coater Runners(V15,H2) Joule(V6,H27) *********************************************************************** You have two new allies in this battle, but they're far far away from the point where you start, and at least one of them has to survive the battle. Its best to take Gilti, and Maria and bring them to meet your party, and then defeat the enemy. Take out the Mage early with magic of your own, and the rest of the enemies shouldn't pose a problem. You need the Blockmake skill from the Pickax you will find later to get the Joule, so after you get the Pickax from Barm Mountain Range return here, and get the Joule with the useful Re-Move skill which allows on of your characters to move again. Go back to Luxar Village, and enter the bar to hear some news about your friends *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 13-Kumenu Canyon *********************************************************************** Geil:7,500 Items:Hint-6 Enemies:Thorpe(180HP),EN Soldier(7) Goblin Shield L-Vase(V33,H8) *********************************************************************** This is probably the toughest battle of the whole chapter. Your team is split into two, and the archers have the height advantage which means their attack range will be widely broadened. Make sure to keep Pratau out of range of attack, because if he dies then its game over. Make your way to your main team with the other four after killing the two Soldiers in front of them. Your main 3 should kill the 3 soldiers advancing next to them easily with some careful planning. Your 4 with some luck, and some special skills should be able to take out the Mage as long as he moves into range. After all that all you have to do is to wait for the winged Thorpe to make her way down. Her attacks are strong. Dragonfire deals 40 damage to four squares, and Double slash can do upto 60 damage to one person. Surround her, and beat her down while your archers, and mages bombard her with arrows, and spells *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 14-Porta River *********************************************************************** Geil:12,000 Items:Nailbat Enemies:En Soldier*11 Magibook(V14,H17) L-Glove(V1,H1) *********************************************************************** Objective:Get all units to cross the river You don't even have to defeat all the enemies, but its best to do so. First kill of the 3 enemy units close to your characters and then wait for the others to arrive. After disposing of the first two waves of enemies its time to start heading across the bridge. Take out the mage on the other side as soon as possible because he has a Blastburn for attacking and a Heal Light spell to heal his comrades. Take out any other enemy units that get in your way and then get all your characters to cross the bridge. Protect the Hero at all times because the battle ends if he dies. Get the Magibook if you can because its useful on your magician by making his/her spells more effective. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 15-Ghote Plain *********************************************************************** Geil:14,000 Items:Balloon Enemies:Thief*11 *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all enemies and protect Yuri Even though Protect Yuri does not show up on the objective screen if he dies its game over, so protect Yuri and the Hero. Yuri has 3 comrades on his side and all have some good magic spells. Have Yuri and his men take out the enemies on their side with starfall and shinestorm and then start heading onto the other side if they have any MP left, or just stay back if their already out of MP.Your main characters should use their best attacks to defeat the enemies, and concentrate on the enemy mage who has Shinestorm which deals 30 damage to a big range of characters so watch out. The balloon is a special weapon and its pretty useless but get it if you want your weapon list to fill up to 100% *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 16-Barm Mt.Range *********************************************************************** Geil:16,000 Items:Pickax Enemies:Thief*10 Maracas(V23,H8) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies Protect hero since if he dies its game over. Yuri is here for help, have him use there for help, so use him. Shinestorm is best used on a group of enemies thats close up like the two thieves right across the bridge. Weaken them with spells and then go close for the kill. Wait around till the enemies make their way down, and take down the enemies there, especially the two mages, one of them has heal light, and Poisona, and the other is equipped with two damaging spells. Send your flying unit and have him open the treasure chest to find the Pickax with the BLOCKMAKE skill, now you can go back and open some of the inacesible chests, and then send him to V23,H8 with the searchmark skill to findthe Maracas with the Blockbreak skill which destroys. After getting those two treasure chests go and ake out the last remaining enemies. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 17-Mine Level Three *********************************************************************** Geil:18,000 Items:Thunder-Ring Enemies:Legion(8),Wing Ant V-Cape Shoot Ant Map-11(V13,H20) Philbook(V9,H13) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all enemies Protect hero and head into the battle. Make sure to have the searchmark skill on your flyer so you can get the Map-11 which is useful if you want to get the Vandal Hearts sword, but if you missed it then don't sweat since you can come back to any location again later once you visited it in the game once you can always visit it a little later in the game. The Philbook is also useful for you magician combined with the Magibook can make your mages even more deadly. Overall this is an easily battle since none of the enemies here have any skills and there are NO mages at all in this battle which makes it very easy. To get the items on the higher grounds you will need the Blockmake skill from the Pickax weapon from battle #16. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 18-Mine Level Four *********************************************************************** Geil:20,000 Items:Hi-Herb(V21,H0) Enemies:Wing Ant(2),Legion(6) Shoot Ant(2) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies No good treasure here, and the enemies are pretty easy. Take out the 3 enemies below you with some spells and then concentrate on the enemies in front of you. Never get within range of the archers or you will feel some major pain. Wait for the archers to get down to some closer range and then use some skills and some powerful attacks to kill them. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 19-Mine Level Five *********************************************************************** Geil:22,000 Items:Hi-Herb(V3,H8) Enemies:Boss Ant(220HP) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat the Boss Ant He has only one attack that deals about 30 damage to an okay range of your characters but is still nothing to worry about. Surround him as soon as possible and use regular attacks to defeat him. Your archer should stay on the outside and hit him with normal attacks. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 20-Mine Corridor #27 *********************************************************************** Geil:23,000 Items:Goblin Shield Enemies:Guardian(10) B-Insect *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all enemies Protect the hero, and take out the first two guardians on each side on the verandas with some spells and archery attacks. The other four guardians including the two mages will be closing in quickly on top of the platform. Send some spells and flying characters up there ASAP before they can cause any significant damage to your characters. One of the mages has Darkmoon which can deal 44 damage to a wide range of your characters. After the mages are gone then its easy to take out the remaining guardians with anything. The treasures here are nothing special. The B-Insect is a new Bow and the Goblin shield houses another Recovermark skill for your shield *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 21-Mohosa's Secret Chamber *********************************************************************** Geil:24,000 Items:C-Potion(V7,H7) Enemies:Mohosa(226HP),Samhin(206HP) ENSoldier(8) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Samhin the Jailer This battle can be tough so be prepared. Take out the 3 soldier on the platform next to you with some regular attacks, and save your spells for later. The next four soldiers on the next level are taken out easily since they have no skills. Next comes the final soldier with the magic spells including the Heal Light spell. Take him out with spells so he doesn't heal the damage you caused to the boss. Save some healing spells with each mage(You should have two always) and send you flying characters up while the others make their way up the platform. Samhin can do 50 damage to a wide range with Blizzard so send one character to him and move out of the way so he'll hopefully waste a spell or two. He can only cast it three times. Mohosa can deal 70+ damage with Double slash and 40 damage to 4 panels with Dragonfire so watch out and heal when your HP is low. Concentrate all your attacks on Samhin, and since they have no healing you will eventually win even if you lose a couple of characters, and as long as you protect the hero *********************************************************************** Chapter Two *********************************************************************** Battle 22-Killea Bog *********************************************************************** Geil:25,000 Items:Naigama Enemies:EnSoldier(9) MagiBook X-Boom(V8,H23) Map-4(V11,H18) Map-A(V9,H6) *********************************************************************** The battle here is very easy since the enemies are all scrunched up together and can easily be taken out with some magic. Make sure to take out the two mages, as one of them has Dragonbreath, and another one has Heal Up which can heal their characters. Deal out some damage with magic and bow attacks and heal back any lost HP with a HealUp or Heal Light spell. Make sure to get Map-4 at the only weird looking spot on the map especially if you are going to get the Vandal Hearts sword later in the game. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 23-Ruins of Polata *********************************************************************** Geil:26,000 Items:AngelRod Enemies:Guardian(6),Killbeetle(3) E-Punch Skeleton(2) G-Coater(V18,H0) C-Heels(V0,H0) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies Hero is placed farther away from your group at the start of the battle so have him head back towards the group as soon as the battle starts and have the others head down towards the Hero. The enemies here aren't really tough and none of them have any skills available for use, so as long as you protect the Hero you should be fine. The first two enemies that you should take out are the two skeletons equipped with long-range Hi-Boom weapons. None of the items here are that great but pick them up anyways. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 24-Dybosa Ridge *********************************************************************** Geil:27,000 Items:Pickax Enemies:EnSoldier(10) Stoneye Hint-7(V18,H7) W-Cape(V30,H3) Beacon(V1,H3) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies The battle here is pretty tough because of the rough terrain. The mages are tough to get to and the archers will rain down on you with their arrows for the maximum possible damage from up high. Take out the 2 mages on the sides quickly before they can do any damage with some spells and flying characters, then concentrate on the enemies that are making their way down the paths to meet you. After taking them out go after the archers and the flying spearmen who now make their way down from the higher ramparts. Watch out for the spearmen as they can do good amounts of damage to your characters. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 25-Aposs Port *********************************************************************** Geil:28,000 Items:Tower Shield Enemies:Mohosa(380HP),EnSoldier(10) Tower Shield F-Socks(V22,H30) G-Cap(V20,H21) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Mohosa Take out the three enemies that are close to you with normal attacks and then wait for the two mages to arrive and then destroy them quickly with some spells and regular attacks. Mohosa will wait in the middle for most of the battle and only start heading towards your party after you characters take out most of the enemies. Take out the two flying spearmen and then wait for Mohosa and his two soldiers to come foward. Take out the two soldiers and then surround Mohosa with your strongest characters and take him out while healing with Heal Light, and Heal Up. Mohosa has DragonFire(40 Damage/4 Panels), Triple Slash(75 Damage/1 Character), and Ax Vortex(65 Damage/Spins in four panel direction) so be careful not to die. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 26-Tehapi Dunes *********************************************************************** Geil:29,000 Items:None Enemies:Q.Body(300HP),Q.Arm(8-104HP Each) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies This battle is very easy and you don't have to spend any time looking for treasures. Keep your team together from the start and when the Q.Arm start moving close enough into range of you spells let them have it with your most powerful Ice spells if you have any and refrain from casting any Fire spells. They can poison you so bring some C-Potions and then take them out. The Q.Body doesn't move and as long as you stay a couple of spaces away from it, it will never attack so just have your archers and spell casters attack it from long-range and never come close to it. After the battle this Map becomes a special secret free battle with some special items(See Secrets) *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 27-Liuki Checkpoint *********************************************************************** Geil:29,000 Items:Ancient Shield Enemies:EnSoldier(10) Puggio Hint-8(V6,H16) L-Slab(V5,H16) Urn(V7,H8) Philbook(V5,H4) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies Take out the two enemy mages as soon as the battle starts with some flying characters or mages since they are on higher ground that your regular characters cannot reach. Head to the right and take out the 3 enemies that are making their way down the stairs and then wait for the enemies that are coming towards you from the left and take them out with some spells. The rest of the enemies shouldn't be tough and after you have one enemy left then send one character to get all the treasures while on of your characters makes sure to make the enemy never attack by moving out of its range each turn. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 28-Yuggor Station *********************************************************************** Geil:30,000 Items:RingRod Enemies:Jamir(300HP),B.Knight(12) Tower Shield Runners(V7,H28) Shades(V13,H17) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Jamir This battle is pretty tough, because there are 12 enemies and then when Jamir reaches your characters he deals out major damage. Tkae out the enemies approaching you but try to conserve some healing spells for later, so in order to do so you must take out the mages quickly. After taking out the first two waves of enemy units the flying characters will come forward so take them out also, before heading towards Jamir. Jamir can do 75 damage to all the characters lined up in a row and will wind up on the other side of the attack when he is finished. Heal quickly when he attacks and have all the characters surround him and try to take him out in one turn so you don't have to restart this battle. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 29-East Railroad *********************************************************************** Geil:30,000 Items:Bullion(V2,H32) Enemies:Manon(416HP),B.Knight(7) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Manon Manon will wait for you to kill all her characters before charging you so do that. Take out the mage first because he can do 44 damage to your characters with DarkCloud and heal also with HealUP. After that make your way through the ladder on the right and take out all the enemies there before going towards Manon.Manon will automatically recover 30HP each turn because she has 2 recovermarks on her and her Gravestench does 75 damage to a wide radius to try to get her to waste a casting or two since she can only cast it three times. Surround her and pound her with regular attack quickly. The only treasure here, the bullion has only one use; to get you 50,000 Geil when sold at the shops. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 30-Gabhul Castle *********************************************************************** Geil:30,000 Items:SavioRod Enemies:Jamir(350HP),Manon(416HP) Ancient Shield B.Knight(6) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Jamir and Manon This battle is pretty tough since they both have very damaging attacks. Kill the two enemies on your sides and then wait for the others to make thei way down the ramps. Take them all out with regular attacks and then wait for the Manon to make her way down. Hopefully they will come down one at a time, if they don't then its gonna be real tough. Take her out and wait for Jamir to arrive, but watch out since he can do about 100+ damage to one of your characters with Double Slash so make sure to protect the leader. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 31-Gabhul Castle Again *********************************************************************** Geil:30,000 Items:W-Cape Enemies:Jacob(450HP),B.Knight(10) Bugeyes Hint-9(V7,H0) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Jacob Agress joins you for this battle and she's pretty powerful with the Assassin sword. Watch out for the Mage with the Minimizer skill since he can MINI your entire party and pretty much get you a game over. Take him and all the enemies next to him with the new Napalm Ring skill you got for your mages from the new rod from the stores. Your other characters should concentrate on defeating the other enemies. Then Jacob will come forward with his Windstorm skill doing 70-100 damage to a good range so watch out. He also has a powerful attack from his I-Java weapon. Surround him a kill him while healing your characters *********************************************************************** CHAPTER 3 *********************************************************************** Battle 32-Zopart Valley *********************************************************************** Geil:30,000 Items:Tabarl Enemies:Thug(10) Bonesaw(V10,H4) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies Pretty easy battle as long as you watch out for the ThugMage who has the Paralyzer skill which can paralyze all your characters. The thug with the long-range Shotput is also a danger so take him out quick too. The others are pretty weak with no skills and fall easily with some skills and spells. Get the 2 weapons if you want 100% of the weapons to end the game. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 33-Pava Sea(E) *********************************************************************** Geil:32,000 Items:Map-0(V21,H36) Enemies:Thug(11) Psybell(V22,H1) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies Pretty easy battle, but watch out since the enemies will come very close quickly and they all advance at the same time so you might find yourselves surrounded by all the flying spearmen who can do a lot of damage with their spears. Send a flying character to V21,H36 and get the Map-0. Heal with some healing spells and take out groups of enemies with the spells. GO TO ZERO AND FIND THE O-MIRROR AND EQUIP IT. ENTER ZERO MIRROR ROOM AND FIND THE EVIL DOLL WITH AN ATK OF 115 WHICH WILL HELP YOU IN THE BATTLES TO COME BUT NEVER USE ITS SKILL SINCE IT WILL KILL YOUR OWN CHARACTERS. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 34-Pava Sea(W) *********************************************************************** Geil:32,000 Items:None Enemies:Cultist(10),Mahler(479HP) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Mahler Defeat all the enemies that are advancing towards you. The evildoll weapon can easily take out an enemy with one swing. Mahler will not advance until most enemies are defeated. His Fireburst attack can do 90 damage to your characters. Surround him and pound him into the ground. After the battle this map becomes a secret free battle(SEE SECRETS) *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 35-Domingo Village *********************************************************************** Geil:32,000 Items:Iron-Fan Enemies:Zombie(11) B-Sniper Helmet(V0,H18) Specs(V13,H16) Gauntlet(V2,H13) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies,Protect Hammet Cast Re-Move on Hammet and get him close to your party and then defeat the enemies since they are poorly equipped. The only characters that can do any damage to your characters are the ones equipped with the Molotov which can hit you for 70+ damage so send a flying character or two up there quickly ASAP. The items here are crappy so forget about them. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 36-Nugasso Forest *********************************************************************** Geil:32,000 Items:Linerune Enemies:WNElite(11) D-Scythe Runners(V16,H20) Hoplon(V8,H11) Wind-Ring(V3,H11) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies The treasures in the treasure chests are a must to get especially the Linerune which is nesscesary to get the Deltashock skill from the Killer sheild found at RainbowLevel4(SEE SECRETS) to work, and a special weapon. The only enemies to watch out for are the two Mages especially the one with the Sleeper skill which can get very annoying and the Elehound+Heal Soul skills which can do a lot of damage and heal the characters so take them out quickly, and then defeat all the other enemies. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 37-Killaba Swamp *********************************************************************** Geil:32,000 Items:Goblin Shield Enemies:Culists(8),Mahler(509HP) LunarRod S-Cape(V10,H1) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies Get the LunarRod which houses the KICKASS Magicabsorb skill which absorbs 20 or so MP back to your character at no Mp, or EP cost. The enemies here are very easy and your joined by Hammet again. Take out the first wave of enemies, and then the anoying Mage who can poison your characters. Mahler still has the 90 damage Fireburst so watch out and surround him and go for the kill. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 38-Erawaga Falls *********************************************************************** Geil:32,000 Items:Specs Enemies:Cultist(11) Hoplon Map-7(V5,H24) Charmer(V8,H19) Darkness-Ring(V9,H8) Ingot(V3,H3) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies Find Map-7 in this battle map, and then take care of the enemies. The enemies here are not really hard but you have to watch out for the 2 mages, one houses the 65+ damage dealing Elehound, and the other has the frustrating Minimizer spell. Make sure to take them out before killing the other enemies. Thr rest of the enemies aren't really that hard so take this battle nice and slow and you should have no problem *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 39-Randahl Plain *********************************************************************** Geil:32,000 Items:Holy Ring Enemies:Godeau(490HP),WNElite(9) Glowstar Seeds(V21,H9) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Godeau The seeds are nesscesary to find a secret battle map(See Secret Free battle Maps). Godeau is the only thing to watch out for. His dark punish spell does 90+ damage to a wide range of your characters and can really screw your team up. Make sure to cast Heal Up, or Heal Max accordingly when your Hp gets to the 90HP range. The mage is equipped with the Hailstorm spell which can deal about 70 damage, so take him out before attacking Godeau since he also has Heal Up. Surround Godeau and hit him with powerful attacks after taking out all the enemies. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 40-Killaba Swamp(Again) *********************************************************************** Geil:48,000 Items:Goblin Shield Enemies:Thorpe(470HP),WNElite(10) LunarRod S-Cape(V10,H1) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Thorpe A very tough battle awaits you here. The enemy mages have some damaging spells like Solar Flare and spells that can change your status. Equip AntiParalyzeMark on your shields before this battle to make things easier. Hammet joins your party now so make sure to protect him. Take out the 2 enemies next to him and then head up and wait for the 3 enemies near the bridge to approach. Take them out and the wait for Thorpe to fly up with her cronies. Take out the mage with ranged attacks and then concentrate on Thorpe. She can't be surround since she can fly and her attacks deal close to 100 damage with Thunderbolt. Use powerful attacks to take her out. The treasure here will only appear if you didn't get them in the first battle. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 41-Domingo Ruins *********************************************************************** Items:42,000 Items:Iron-Fan Enemies:Godeau(500HP) B-Sniper Thorpe(421HP) Helmet(V0,H18) Doom(655HP) Specs(V13,H16) WNElite Gauntlet(V2,H13) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat the Trio This is a tough battle mainly because the WNElite can cast ReAnimator which can bring characters back to life. Send a flying character who is equipped with a strong weapon(EVILDOLL would be nice since it can take the WNElite in one hit) and take out the WNElite, watch out and make sure that the flying character does not get taken out by Doom on his way there. Godeau will approach first, followed by Thorpe who have the same arsenal of spells as before each doing nearly 100 damage to a wide range. Make sure to have some healing spells handy. Its best to have 2 mages with healing spells for this battle. Take their HP to low levels but DONT kill them until the WNElite is taken out so he doesn't just bring them back to life. After he's out take out Thorpe, and Godeau and wait for Doom to arrive. Doom is easy to take out with some archers from higher ground since his movement range sucks and he usually won't be able to reach out for a while. His attacks are much weaker than the others but he has lots of HP so just surround him, and use attacks. *********************************************************************** Chapter 4 *********************************************************************** Battle 42-Yuggor *********************************************************************** Geil:65,000 Items:Map-13(V19,H25) Enemies:Mahler(679HP) Goblin Shield Cultist(11) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Mahler As your first move in this battle, be sure to move the hero as close to the rest of your party as you can. If you don't, 2 mages will make mincemeat out of him. Immediately take out the mages with spells and long range weapons, once they finish moving (it's best to do this in the first turn if you can). After that, take out the axe wielders as they advance toward you in groups of 3, staying out of range of the bowman as you do. Mahler won't make any move toward you until his last two cultists start taking damage. When he does move in, try to use a flyer to make him waste all his MP on spells from a distance. Ater he drains his magic, move in for the kill. MAKE SURE TO GET MAP-13 BEFORE THE BATTLE ENDS! *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 43-Bazo Forest *********************************************************************** Geil:75,00 Items:G-hammer(V0,H23) Enemies:Jacob(620HP) L-vase(V14,H19) Manon(641HP) Plug(V3,H7) Jamir(550HP) B. Knights(8) *********************************************************************** Objective: Defeat Jacob, Manon, and Jamir In this battle, Jacob, Manon, and Jamir are all mindless Kudur zombies. There are 2 mages in this battle besides the trio, but thankfully, only one of them has offensive spells. Jamir will move in almost immediately when the battle begins, so watch out for the 4 Brawler abilities on his E-Punch weapon. Next will be Manon, with her Dark Punish spell. Try to make her waste all her MP from a distance first, then make sure you surround and pummel her (she does have 3 Recovermarks on her shield though, so defeat her in one turn if you can). Last, but not least, Jacob will attack, with his Maelstrom spell leading the charge. Once he wastes his MP, waste him! *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 44-Lagusta Ruins *********************************************************************** Geil:80,000 Items:Tri-Rake(V15,H11) Enemies:Minion(12) Map-14(V6,H14) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies Relatively easy battle, compared to the last two. 2 mages, 3 archers, 2 winged spearmen, and 5 infantry. Sit back for a turn (or two), and let them come to you, then just let them have it. Be sure to get Map-14 before you finish all the bad guys. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 45-Slate Convent *********************************************************************** Geil:90,000 Items:Clanger(chest at V15,H25) Enemies:Minion(11) G-Shot(chest at V0,H25) Map-C(V12,H15) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies Another easy battle. Ther are 2 mages, one offense(Solar Flare) and one defense(Heal Max), 1 bowman, 1 flying spearman, and 7 infantry. Remember to plan your attacks, as the enemy has a height advantage. Get the items now, if you want them, as you won't get another chance. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 46-Slate Convent (again) *********************************************************************** Geil:110,000 Items:Coffin(V9,H24) Enemies:Godard(762HP) Map-1(V6,H24) Minion(11) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Godard As you can imagine with Godard here, this battle is really tough. There is 1 mage, 2 bowmen, 2 flying spearmen, and 6 infantry besides Godard. Once you've wittled his Minions down to the last two, Godard will move in. Be sure to watch out for his ultra-powerful Exodus spell. He can only cast it twice before his magic points run out, but if any of your 150HP-or-less characters get in the way, say goodbye. Once he wastes all his MP, just surround him and beat him down(his Evilrod weapon only has an attack of 45). BTW, if any of your fully healthy characters dies because of Godard's spell, just use Re-Animate to bring them back at full health. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 47-Buhho Mt. *********************************************************************** Geil:120,000 Items:Letter-2(chest:V22,H0) Enemies:Godeau(550HP) Nodachi(chest:V7,H8) Thorpe(520HP) WNElite(7) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Godeau & Thorpe These guys just don't know when they're beaten. Besides Godeau and Thorpe, there are 2 flying spearmen, 1 bowman, and 4 infantry. There are no mages, but since Godeau has Dark Punish & Thunderfall and Thorpe uses Thundershot & Thunderfall, none are really needed. All the enemies are on high ground (again), so be conscious of how you place your party each turn, and you'll be fine. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 48-Gardeau *********************************************************************** Geil:130,000 Items:Map-5(chest:V22,H10) Enemies:WNElite(12) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies This battle is pretty standard except for the giant castle wall(with stairs on each side, of course) standing between your party and the enemies on the other side. There are 2 infantry and 1 bowman on the same side as your party that you have to deal with first. After that, it's just a race to see which of your groups get to the high ground position first. The Double Block skill is really usefull for reaching Map-5. FOLLOWING THIS BATTLE(and a short cut-scene), YOU WILL IMMEDIATELY HAVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER BATTLE. MAKE SURE YOUR PARTY IS FULLY EQUIPPED AND PREPARED! *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 49-Gardeau (again) *********************************************************************** Geil:140,000 Items:Breaker(chest:V10,H23) Enemies:Doom(715HP) Phantom(1) Werewolf(1) Dragon(2) G.Armor(6) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Doom The mage(Phantom), bomb-thrower(Werewolf), and 2 flying spearmen(Dragons) are all formidable foes(the 6 G.Armors are just standard infantry, so don't worry two much about them). Once you've taken care of them all, in comes Doom to take care of you. Doom uses Thunderfall, Absolute 0, and Ax Storm, so be careful. He also has 3 Recovermarks on his shield, so after he drains his MP, try to take him out in one turn. So much for the trio! *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 50-Natra Palace *********************************************************************** Geil:150,000 Items:Letter-3(V9,H36) Enemies:Minion(12) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all Enemies This battlefield is just a huge hill with stairs going down the middle. Your party starts at the bottom behind an archway, and the enemies have the high ground (imagine that!). There are 2 mages, 2 flyers (with axes this time), 1 bomb-thrower, and 7 infantry. If you want to make this battle easy for yourself, be sure to have someone with the Double Block ability in your party. Just close up all the ways in (4 for the walkers, 6 for the flyers) except for one, then just pick them off one at a time as they come through. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** BE AWARE THAT FROM THIS POINT ON, YOU'LL HAVE TO FIGHT 4 BATTLES IN A ROW. MAKE SURE YOUR PREPARED! *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 51-Nigran Cathedral *********************************************************************** Geil:300,000 Items:none Enemies:Mahler(782HP) Minion(9) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Mahler Mahler is now a walking zombie, and tougher than before. There are 2 mages, 1 bowman, 3 flying spearmen, and 3 infantry here besides the evil Friar. After you take out the goons, and Mahler makes his move toward you, be sure to watch out for his Fireburst spell. He also has 4 Recovermarks on his shield, so when he drains his MP, surround him and try to take him (preferrably in one turn). *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 52-Nigran Cathedral (again) *********************************************************************** Geil:380,000 Items:none Enemies:Mohosa(720HP) Minion(9) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Mohosa Everybody's favorite demented zombie warden, Mohosa, is back for another round (his last). Besides Mohosa, there are 2 mages, 2 bowmen, and 5 infantry. Use a standard pattern of waiting for the enemy and strategically pouncing on them as they arrive. Mohosa has Thunderstorm and Ax Storm to use against you. I found that the Coffin weapon & L-Mach armor combo, equipped on one of my party members, works really well for long distance strikes against the enemy. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 53-Nigran Cathedral (yet again) *********************************************************************** Geil:400,000 Items:none Enemies:Godard(999HP) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat Godard No, boys and girls, you didn't read that wrong. Godard has 999HP this time, as well as 999MP, allowing him to cast his Exodus spell a whopping 11 times! Be sure to have one mage on back-up strictly for healing purposes. Since you probably won't last until he drains all his MP, try to move in on him as quickly as possible, and beat him down with everything you've got. That might mean that your party will get hit once or twice, but that's what healing spells are for. *********************************************************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *********************************************************************** Battle 54-Nigran Cathedral (the last time, I promise) *********************************************************************** Geil:450,000 Items:none Enemies:G.Heart(4) *********************************************************************** Objective:Defeat all G.Hearts This is it, the last battle of the game! It's quite strange, but relatively easy if you use your head. Before the battle starts (when you are allowed to place your party within the blue strip), be sure to shift everyone in your party as far over to the left as you can (left when facing the mutated Godard). If you do this, when the battle begins, the G.Heart on the right will not be able to hit too many of your characters with it's first spell. Two of the G.Hearts can cast the Doomflash spell (which is powerfull but can only be cast in the four grids surrounding it), while the other two can cast the Doomhowl spell, which has a good range (0-3) and field of effect (2). Use your spells and long range weapons from a distance, until each G.Heart has taken its turn (in each round), then surround each one and take them out. Each G.Heart has 600HP, which makes 2400HP total between them, so don't underestimate them. Once you've defeated them all, you'll see the message "Congratulations! The Final Battle is Completed. You are a true Hero!". What ending sequence will you get? *********************************************************************** ------------------ | 4.Secret Battles | ------------------ --------------------- | Secret Free Battles | --------------------- After fighting in the story battles for these maps, then you will be able to re-enter the battle map, and fight on a whole new map with new looks, and new treasures. These four free battles are Tehapi Dunes,Daboll Mountains,Pawa Sea(W), and Fort Dantess. Make sure to have a winged character with searchmark, and unlock. Blockmake is also very helpful. -------------- | Tehapi Dunes | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Items:Map-6(V10,H17) | | Zebra Shield(V23,H15) | | Bugeyes(V13,H20) | | L-Vase(V18,H12) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Make sure to get Map-6 as it opens the way into the secret battle | | The Rock. The Zebra shield is also a good find since it teaches | | a character the useful Re-Animator spell which brings a dead | | character back into the battle. | ------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------- | Daboll Mountain | - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Items:Urn(V0,H2) | | I-Boom(V4,H1) | | Hint-10(V23,H13) | | L-Vase(V15,H13) | | Dustball(V12,H13) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Nothing too great here, but its a must to visit this battle if | | you want to get the Vandal Hearts sword, because the Dusball | | is actually the C-Prism when looked at by pressing Triangle | ----------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- | Pawa Sea(W) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Items:Casts(V24,H13) | | W-Boots(V23,H12) | | Tortoise Shield(V19,H8) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | To get the treasure chests on top of the mountain, first get the | | Tortoise shield, and learn the Terraformer that it holds. The barren tracks are now filled with lush green grasses. | | This battle is extremely easy as you are on such flat land, and | | most of the enemy forces are pretty weak with only 1 magician | --------------------------------------------------------------------- HIDDEN MAP 2: ---------------- | Killaba Swamps | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Plug | | Items:Goblin Shield | | Lump | | LunarRod | | Map-10(V8,H21) | | S-Cape(V10,H1) | | Map-B(V17,H0) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Find the plug in Pazo Forest(V3,H7) and enter the Killaba Swamps | | battle map. Make sure to get Map-10, and the Lump(N-Prism) | | to get the Vandal Hearts sword, and the best ending. | ------------------------------------------------------------------- HIDDEN MAP 3: --------- | Cyclops | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Map-1 | | Items:Ikarsor(V0,H33) | | Map-9(V16,H21) | | Goblin Shield(V15,H14) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Map-1 can be found on battle map#46. Its on the high column(V6,H24) | | The blockmake technique is needed to access the high column. Alot | | of obstacles in the way, and some tough enemies make this a pretty | | tough battle so watch out. Make sure to get Map-9 | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - HIDDEN MAP 4: -------- | Gemini | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Defeat of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Map-2 | | Items:LunarRod(V1,H30) | | Vardish(V28,H0) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | To get Map-2 you must visit all the cities, and villages open to | | you in the final chapter. In Sady Town you will meet a woman who | | is waiting for her boyfriend Daniel. To find him, you must visit | | every tavern on the world map and talk to the barkeeps until | | you get a update on Daniel's progress. Then return to Sady Town | | to tell the chick the results of your progress, and retrieve | | Map-2. Entering the battlemap from the west places you on top | | of the battle, and from the east places you on the bottom where | | the treasure lies, but the enemies are on top. | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - HIDDEN MAP 5: ---------- | Triangle | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Defeat of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Map-3 | | Items:Goblin Shield | | Pipe(V10,H8) | | Clump(V3,H3) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | To get Map-3, go to Luxar village, and enter the shop. Scroll below | | the items section to a section called ????? press on it a couple of | | times, and the clerk will sell you Map-3 for 15,000G. The clump is | | another prism, and is located below the Goblin Shield treasure | | chest. The enemies are mostly theives with some mages, and can | | easily be taken out with some powerful magic from your mages. | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - HIDDEN MAP 6: --------- | Fortuna | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Defeat of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Map-4 | | Items:Urn | | Dirtball(V2,H37) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Enter Fortuna at night from 10:30 to 12:00 when the clock is | | pointing up into the north. It is only then that you will be | | able to find the prism hidden in the Dirtball. Map-4 to enter | | this battle can be found in Killea Bog(V11,H18). You will be | | outnumbered in this battle, but the enemy units are split | | apart into groups of two and four, and as long as you take | | one group by one this battle will be easy. | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - HIDDEN MAP 7: ----------- | Goldfinch | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirement for entrance:Map-5 | | Items:Berserka | | Spatula | | Magerobe(V32,H20) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Map-5 is in a treasure chest in battle #48(V22,H10). Its best | | to have Double blockmake to reach it quickly. The treasures | | here are pretty good. Berserka is the 2nd most powerful | | sword with an ATK of 133, even though its 2 handed, and the | | Magerobe gives your magician an amazing 999MP, but a low | | amount of 50HP which leaves them very vurnerable. | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - HIDDEN MAP 8: ---------- | The Rock | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Map-6 | | Items:Iron-Fan | | Puggio | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Map-6 can be found at a secret free battle in Tehapi Dunes(V10,H17) | | The place that you start depends on which direction you enter from. | | The treasures here are pretty lame, but the Iron-Fan is okay, and | | the Puggio is a so-so knife. | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - HIDDEN MAP 9: ----------------- | Rainbow Level 1 | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Map-7 | | Items:Joule | | S-Cape(V0,H19) | | Plan-1(V12,H9) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Map-7 can be found on the Erawaga Falls battlefield(V5,H24). In | | order to proceed to the next level of Rainbow you must find the | | Plan-1 to open up the way into the 2nd level. Plan-1 is on the | | crate(V12,H9), and then you re-enter the map with Plan-1 | | in your inventory, and the entire map is now a little bit | | different. | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - HIDDEN MAP 10: ----------------- | Rainbow Level 2 | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Plan-1 | | Items:Deltite | | Plan-2 | | S-Cape(V0,H19) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Plan-1 can be found in the 1st Rainbow level. S-Cape will only | | be here if you did not find it in the first level. Deltite is | | needed to cast the Deltashock spell from the Killer shield. | | You must find Plan-2 to get into Rainbow level 3. The enemies | | here are very easy, and although you are outnumbered you should | | be able to take them out easily with long-range magic, and there | | is only 1 magician on this field which will make it very easy. | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - HIDDEN MAP 11: ----------------- | Rainbow Level 3 | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Plan-2 | | Items:Plan-3 | | S-Cape(V0,H9) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | S-Cape will only be here if you didnt get it in the first 2 battles | | Plan-3 is located in the treasure chest on the very top so have a | | winged character get it after you take out most of the enemies. The | | enemies here are tougher since there are more enemies, and 3 or so | | magicians with some powerful magic, and healing magic. Take out the | | mages, and archers first, and the focus on the fighters. | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - HIDDEN MAP 12: ----------------- | Rainbow Level 4 | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Plan-3 | | Items:Killer Shield | | Clay(V9,H9) | | S-Cape(V0,H10 | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Get killer shield since it kicks ass and teaches you the Deltashock | | spell. You need botht the Deltite(Rainbow Level 2), and theLinerune | | (Nuggasso Forest) to cast the spell. The enemies here are even | | tougher numbering at about 16 with a couple of mages, and tough | | terrain. Make sure to get the Clay which is another prism needed | | for the Vandal Hearts sword so make sure to get it. The S-Cape is | | only here if you didn't get it before. | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - HIDDEN MAP 13: --------- | Octopus | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Map-8 | | Items:Goblin Shield(V24,H3) | | Ogre-Rod(V5,H3) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | To get Map-8 you must visit the tavern in Kiskana City, and talk to | | the old map there a couple of times until Pike recognizes him as | | some old well-known professor. This can be only done in chapter | | 4. The battle in Octopus is pretty easy as long as you keep on the | | move and don't get hit by too many cannonballs which deal 80 damage | | per hit. The enemies here wear light armor and have about 160HP | | so this battle should be won pretty quickly. The items here suck. | --------------------------------------------------------------------- HIDDEN MAP 14: -------- | Museus | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Map-9 | | Items:Bravo Bell | | Ogre-Rod | | L-Mach(V2,H11) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | To get map-9 you must visit the hidden battle map of Cyclops and | | find the map(V16,H21). Make sure to get the L-Mach armor which | | gives your characters a movement range of 30, and is best | | combined with the Coffin weapon which has a huge attack range, | | which can be helpful for defeating enemy mages. | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - HIDDEN MAP 15: ----------- | Commandia | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Map-10 | | Items:Gold-Bat | | Dumbbell(V24,H24) | | Gravi-X(V14,H14) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | To get map-10 you must first find the plug and then go to Killaba | | swamps with the plug in your inventory to find the Killaba swamps | | completely drained. The treasures here are pretty crappy like the | | Gravi-X armor which does give u a 500HP BOOST but drops your | | movement range all the way down to one which cancels out its | | effectiveness completely. The enemies here can be pretty hard | | because of the akward terrain so take notice. If you enter from | | Randahl Plain then you'll be on the bottom, while entering from | | the other side puts you on top which makes the battle easier | | but makes getting the treasure kind of harder so its your | | choice from which side to enter. | ------------------------------------------------------------------- HIDDEN MAP 16: ----------- | Jackblade | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Map-11 | | Items:Goblin Shield | | Pole-Ax | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Map-11 is located inside the mining prison during battle#17, you | | can also get it later during a random battle. The items here are | | useless so just defeat the enemies, and don't worry if you can't | | get the items. The enemies here can be tough since there are about | | 16 of them each with some good weapons and skills so watch out. | --------------------------------------------------------------------- HIDDEN MAP 17: --------- | Queenia | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Map-12 | | Items:Rebelrod | | Graver | | Hi-Herb | | Hi-Herb | | Hi-Herb | | Hi-Herb | | Hi-Herb | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Map-12 can be found on the battlefield at Kutao Mountain(V11,H11) | | You can visit this battle as early as the Prolouge with only 3 | | characters and all you will face is two guardians which will make | | gathering the chests much easier. Later in the game the enemies | | become thieves with better weapons and armor so its best to visit | | this battlefield early in the game as only then will the weapons | | found here be of any use to you. | ------------------------------------------------------------------- HIDDEN MAP 18: ---------- | Kingrand | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Map-13 | | Items:Burnier(GOOD!) | | Psybell | | A-Magic(V16,H20) | | R-Metal(V14,H15) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Map-13 can be found on the Yuggor battlefield(V19,H25). Make | | sure to come to this map as soon as possible because the treasure | | here is awesome. The burnier spear gives you an attack of 141 and | | a great skill. R-Metal can be sold for 150,000Geil, and the | | A-Magic armor gives you an HP boost of 350 with the downside | | of leaving you weak against all magic. The enemies here can be | | tough because of the terrain, you might want to make two trips to | | get all the treasures here. The hardest battles will be if you | | fight a group of archers who will rain down on you with arrows | | from the high buildings for enormous damage. | ------------------------------------------------------------------- HIDDEN MAP 19: --------- | Fortisa | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Map-14 | | Items:Letter-1 | | Spatula | | S-Metal(V12,H21) | | (V11,H21) | | (V12,H20) | | (V11,H20) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Map-14 can be found during battle 44(V6,H14). The main reason | | for visiting here is to get the S-Metal which is the most | | awesome Winged armor which gives good boosts in all the stats | | making your flier a pretty good wizard especially a knife | | wielder with the special spells like Gravestench which deal | | great damage but cost a good amount of MP. | --------------------------------------------------------------- HIDDEN MAP 20: ------ | Zero | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all Enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Map-0 | | Items:Mudball(V15,H19) | | O-Mirror(V1,H14) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Map-0 can be found in the waters of Pawa Sea(E)(V21,H36) with | | a winged character. Make sure to get both treasures with your | | flier before defeating the enemies. You need to get Mudball | | if you are searching for the Vandal Hearts sword, and the | | O-Mirror to get into the next hidden battle map. | --------------------------------------------------------------- HIDDEN MAP 21: -------- | Zero 2 | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:Character equipped with 0-Mirror | | Items:Evildoll(V6,H15) | | Textbook(V12,H8) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | You must equip the O-Mirror found at Zero(V1,H14) and then | | re-enter the battle map to fight a copy of your own | | characters. Its best to outsmart the enemy by equiping weak | | skills on your characters and just use normal attacks while | | the enemy will often use the weak skills. Make sure to enter | | here as soon as you can because the two items here, | | especially the Evildoll which has an attack of 115 and | | an deadly skill which damages both your characters and | | the enemy you're standing next to. Never use this skill | | unless you want to die since you WILL die. Its helpful | | to have the Evildoll equipped on someone during the 3rd | | chapter when its high damage dealing ability will be helpful | --------------------------------------------------------------- HIDDEN MAP 22: ------------- | Rosace Hill | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Victory:Defeat all enemies | | Defeat:Death of Hero | | Requirements for entrance:All 14 Maps | | Items:Clod(V13,H15) | | (V11,H15) | | (V13,H14) | | (V12,H14) | - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | Look at all the Hidden battle map walkthroughs on how to get | | all 14 battle maps. Inside you will meet | | a hologram of St.Nirvah and recieve the Vandal Hearts sword. The | | sword is one of the best in the game with an Atk of 135, and an | | agility bonus of 99, with a 6 skill capacity. The skill it holds | | is Pandora's box which allows all(ally+enemy) units to move again | | which is superbly useless since its just like wasting your | | main characters turn to do something that would happen on the next | | turn anyways. | --------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- | 5.HOW DO I GET THE DIFFERENT ENDINGS?? | ---------------------------------------- There are 6 different endings in Vandal Hearts II.
