   This is a translation for Shin Megami Tensei I on SFC by Atlus.
 It is written by myself and is (C) 1999, Re-Miel. Any reproduction
or modification of this document is prohibited without explicit
written permition from the author.

   Let me tress that bit about feedback again - there is nothing
 that warms the heart of FAQ writer more than even few lines telling
 what people thought about his work. PLEASE, comment. PLEASE, tell 
 me what you thought of this.  
   Now to handle an unfortunate but necessary topic - I would also 
 like to point out, that this translation is result of unbelievable 
 time and effort for me. You don't want to know how long I worked 
 on it. ;-) As result, I will react not at all well, if this 
 translation is stolen, changed or submitted anywhere with fake 
 credits. I.e. I will stop any further translation work I am 
 doing. If you want to see similar translations for the rest of 
 the Megaten games - do not abuse this one. 
   Oh, and the last thing - if you want to put this translation

				 PROLOGUE
				
   The game starts as you are following a hazy red corridor that is leading
 somewhere. Suddenly a huge stone doors close up right in front of you. 
   A face built into that door speaks to you.
   Face:
	"Who tries to pass here ? Name yourself, if you want to pass !"
   You then enter the name of the Main character. The head speaks again:
	"If you are Remiel, you possess some hidden power. Divide 18 
	points amongst parameters."
   You then divide 18 points between 6 parameters. The head speaks again.
   Face:
	"Remiel ! What shall await you as you pass through this door...
	 Is it the Law and Order, of the people chosen for Light ?
	 Is it the Chaos of conflicts of those who rely on power ?
	 You should balance them both in your hands and try to walk 
	so that they don't come crashing down..."
   Then the door opens and you proceed down the passage, until you are met by
 translucent figure, crucified on the cross. The hooded figure speaks to you.
   God's Messenger:
	"This is a soul, sacrificed to God. Call out its name and it will
	awaken."
   Then you get to name the Law Hero and then you are asked to distribute
 the 18 points around.
   Ariel then stands off the cross and says:
	"What is this place ? There is something I needed to accomplish. You 
	came to help. If I stay with you, I may find the answers. Take me 
	with you, please..."
   Then he joins the party. You follow the corridor again, until you come
 to the demon, sitting on top of translucent body. Demon speaks: 
	"This is the soul thirsty for power. If you call out its name, 
	it will awaken."
   You get to name Chaos Hero, and distribute 18 points across attributes.
   Abdiel awakens and demands:
	"Why did you wake me up ? I was seeing a good dream, that I longed
	so much for. 
	 Anyway, lead me out of this place."
   Then he joins the party. You follow along the corridor, until you arrive
 to the little spring in which a girl is bathing. She notices you.
   Girl bathing in a spring:
	"Who ? Who is there ? 
	 Ah.. It's you, Remiel, is not it ? 
	 My name is Yuriko. I have been waiting for you for a long time now. 
	 You are my eternal partner."
   Then you leave. A little while down the corridor, you suddenly hear your
 mother's voice.
   Mother:
	"Remiel ! How long are you going to sleep ? It is holidays, so
	over-sleeping will not do you any good. Get up, quickly !"

			  PART 1  -- THE EARTH, 199X

				     Day 1

   Then you wake up in your room. Your mother is saying those very words above.
 Also, you received a file on your computer.
   Message:
	"DDS-NET
	 Date: 199X-10-XX
	 Name: Steven
	 To all people connected to this net:
	 A serious threat is looming over modern humanity. Demons from our 
	myths and legends have awoken from darkness. Soon the demons will come 
	and attack us.  In order to fight these demons, you will need to 	
	utilise the powers of demons. With this program, you will be able to 
	do so. Pray that you will get enough courage for it... 
	 To fight demons in order to help everyone."
   Then you download the Demon Summoning Program. Your mother calls you 
 again:
	"Remiel ! How long are you going to sleep ?"
   Then you have choices of:
	Use computer
	Save Game
	Go to Sleep
	Leave Room
   If you use the computer, you receive following message:
	"Date: 199X-10-XX
	 Name: Steven
	 To those who received Demon Summoning Program:
	 I do not have the next program yet. But wait a little. I will send 
	the manual for Demon Summoning Program, so that you learn how to 
	use it."
   You then download the manual, which is as follows:
	"This program can:
	   (*) Make demons into Allies, through talking to them.
     	   (*) Summon demons, who were made into Allies.
	 Instructions on use:
	   (1) Choose 'Talk', upon encountering a demon
     	   (2) Next choose the manner of the conversation:
        	- Friendly
        	- Coercing
	 Choose either of the two commands."
   If you choose to go to sleep, it will tell you it is too early yet 
 to do so. So choose to leave the room. You will be met by your mother.
   Mother:
	"Looks like you have slept well this night. The dreadful sound of that
	patrol car did not wake you from your sleep. That must have been some 
	pretty important accident... 
	 Oh, I just remembered. This month's pocket money."
   She gives you Y10000.
  	"Do not waste it... Go and buy a coffee in Cafe of Arcade."
   Then you are given two choices:
	Go to your room
	Go outside
   Choose to go outside. On the way out, you can talk to your dog Pascal,
 if you want. Just to the south of your house is the neighbour's house. The 
 owner, inside, will tell you:
	"Oh, Remiel ! You look good ! My daughter is out at the moment."
   Some of the streets are carted off by barricades. If you walk into one,
 the soldiers will tell you, that the cordon's were put up to search for
 the criminal.
   However if you walk into a cordon in Inogashira Park, policeman will tell
 you:
	"Hey there ! Because of the operation in progress, no trespassing is
	allowed !"
   Go to the cross-shaped building and enter it. Go to cafe. Two important
 encounters are there. First one is Yuriko. 
   Yuriko:
	"We meet again, Remiel. Meeting in such a place. It's almost like
	a dream, no ?"
   And then she disappears. Now go to the Owner in back of the Cafe. 
   Owner:
	"Come in... Ah, Remiel-kun. Coffee as usual ? Money ? This time have it
	on the house, because you are such a good client...
	The noise of patrol car last evening was dreadful. Was it not ?"
   After you have had the coffee head back home. You will be met by your
 mother.
   Mother: 
	"You are back, Remiel. Where did you go ? Don't be too late - I do
	worry about you. But it is good - you are cheerful... 
	 Hey, have you heard ? There was a girl murdered in Inogashira Park.
	It was dangerous. I would feel better, if you did not go out. Oh, 
	and yes. Look after Pascal from time to time."
   Now go to your room, and go to sleep. Your mother will wish you good night
 and you will fall asleep.
   You find yourself walking along a hazy blue corridor. Shortly you will 
 encounter the soul of Ariel again.
   Ariel:
     "Ah, Remiel-kun. We have met again."
   He joins the party. Then Abdiel shows up.
   Abdiel:
     "Yo, Remiel. We are seeing this weird dream again."
   He joins too. Then, after another turn Yuriko shows up.
   Yuriko:
     "We met again, Remiel. I am happy. 
      I am always by your side. Don't forget that."
   Then after a while you go through the door and see suspicious ceremony
 being conducted. Three men in robes are holding a soul of a girl in the
 ceremonial circle.
   Abdiel:
	"What ? What's this sick ceremony ?"
   Ariel:
	"Are they trying to summon a demon ?"
   Shisai:
	"... deeply sleeping, Great Lord of Darkness ! Accept this young
	soul !"
   Lone girl is just about to be sacrificed... You are asked whether you
  want to help the girl.
   If you answer yes (+ Law), Abdiel says:
	"Oi, those two guys in the back have swords. It is stupid to try
	it, while we are unarmed here."
   If you answer no (+ Chaos), Ariel cries:
	"Will we leave this child to certain death ?"
   Shisai:
	"Who is that ? Interrupting our ceremony !"
   Girl:
	"Remiel-kun ! You came to save me ! Quickly, call my name !"
   You get to name the girl. Afterwards, shisai cries:
	"What !? Is that girl's name Eleanor ? Th-that name..."
   Then they run away. Eleanor speaks:
	"Thank you, Remiel-san. A bit more, and I would have been sacrificed. 
	I would have been sacrificed, a horrible Maou would have been
	summoned. Ah, my drained power is returning."
   You get to distribute 18 points, then she resumes speaking:
	"Our meeting is still a thing of the future. And then we are destined 
	to be separated once. One day, you will meet me... "
   Then your mother wakes you up again.

				  Day 2

   As you wake up, the e-mail arrives on the computer.
	"DDS-NET
	 Date: 199X-10-XY
	 Name: Steven
	 After many problems, Automapping program has been completed."
   You download it. Then your mother calls you again. Check your computer.
 You will read a message:
	"DDS-NET
	 Date: 199X-10-XY
	 Name: Steven
	 To all people who received automapping program:
	 Sending out Automapping Manual."
   You download it:
	"Automapping Manual:
	 This program will memorize and display on a screen all the places
       you have walked to. The marks on a screen are explained below.
	   - Yellow     Your present location
	   - Red        Exit & Entrance
           - U          Stairs Up
           - D          Stairs Down
           - E          Elevator
	  "
   Now go out of the room. Your mother meets you. 
   Mother:
	"Good morning, Remiel. What happened last night ? You were calling out
     for someone in your nightmare. It was a girl's name, I think... It was
     the Eleanor-san, who lives next to us. Why are you blushing ? No way.." 
   Now go outside. Visit your neighbour's house and go to his room. He
 will say:
	"Oh, Remiel. My daughter is in her room. Eleanor ! Remiel is here."
   Eleanor:
	"Yes ! I heard you."
   Go to the girl's room. You will be met by a schoolgirl. 
   Eleanor:
	"Hiya, Remiel, how are you ? Eh ? Dream ? I did not see any dreams.
	I was supposed to be having a date today, but I could not go anywhere
	because of police. Whom with?
        It is none of your business, whom do I choose to date with."
   Go outside. Go to Inogashira park. You will see and old man sitting at the
 entrance. He will adress you:
	"Are you Remiel ? You may end up acquiring a great power. 
	 Light and Dark. Law and Chaos. 
	 The world's balance is about to crumble. Whichever way you go, the 
	result will be much the same. 
	 If it were you, what would you do ? 
	 In any case, it is not possible to go back now. First of all, show me
	your power..."
   You find yourself in a strange place. Ariel is standing in front of you.
	"This time, what is going to happen ?"
   Then Abdiel appears:
	"Well, now I am dreaming during the daytime..."
   You all go up a few flights of stairs.  Then suddenly you see your mother.
	"Remiel ! Stop ! This way is dangerous. All of you, stop..."
   Then you go through the door and see a suspicious man conducting some
 ceremony.
   Summoner:
	"My brethren ! Come from Makai ! Now !"
   He turns around to you.
	"Hmm. The whole lot of you - what reason do you disturb me here for ?
	Since you saw the ceremony, I can't let you leave this place alive..."
   He walks out of the room and turns into Choujin Douman. You fight him.
 After the first round of combat, everything fades, and you face the old man
 again:
	"It seems that for you present selves it is impossible task. But if
	there is such thing as destiny, you will meet that guy again."
   With that he disappears. Go back to your house. Read the mail on your
 computer.
	"DDS-NET
	 Date: 199X-1O-XZ
	 Name: Steven
	 To people who received Demon Summoning Program:
	 Few warnings about Demon Summoning Program:
	   (*) During full moon demons are too agitated, so conversation is
              impossible.
           (*) Also, if alignments of the race of the demon and of the Program
              user are opposite, then demon can not join as an Ally.
           (*) You can only summon up to three demons at a time.
	 Take care !
         Beyond the program you have already received, I can not send you any
	more updates. If we meet face-to-face though, I will be able to give 
	them to you. I am also in danger.."
   You can sleep if you want. Go out of the house. Go to your neighbour's 
 house. He will tell you, that Eleanor went out and still has not came back. 
 He asks you to search for her - she said she went to Shinjuku. 
  Then go South from your house - you will be grabbed by police (you could 
 have got grabbed by police earlier - they always arrest you at that spot. 
 If they just arrested you - proceed with walkthrough from this point.)
   Policeman:
	"Wait just a minute. You are Remiel. You are under arrest ! Hey,
	get him !!."
   You find yourself in the prison cell. Policeman tells you:
	"Stay here !"
   Turn around and go to the other corner of the cell. You will see a boy
 sitting on the ground there.
   Boy:
	"So, you have been arrested too ? Eh ? You ? Are you Remiel-kun ?
	It was not just a dream then ! I am Ariel. Remember ? Remiel-kun,
	please listen. My girlfriend went missing. When I was searching 
	for her, a demon attacked me. I fought it, but then I was
	arrested by police. If we do not find my girlfriend quickly.."
   Then Ariel asks you:
	"Will you not help me to look for her ?"
   If you answer no, he says:
	"It's like that, huh.. Sorry. Because of that dream, I guess, I have
	been over-familiar with you..." 
   Then you are told, that you hear sounds from right end of the room.
   If you answer yes, he says:
	"Truly, thank you very much."
   Then he joins the party. He says:
	"My girlfriend's name is Eleanor. Erm, Remiel-kun, is it the
	Eleanor that lives in the house next to you... Anyway, let's
	try to think of how to escape..."
   You are told that there are noises coming from the right end of the
 room. Walk up to the door of the cell, and you will see official standing
 there.
	"It's time for surgial operation."
   Official opens the door, and Ariel darts past him and hits him.
   Ariel:
	"Come, let's go outside..."
   In one of the cages you will find a man sitting on a wheel-chair.
   Steven:
	"You are carrying the program that I made. Did you find it useful ? 
	Once I, while developing instant movement technology - 
	the Terminal System, has accidentally summoned a demon. I somehow 
	managed to defeat a demon, but I sustained great injuries. Because 
	of this bitter experience I created a program, which allows one to 
	bind demons as Allies - Demon Summoning Program. Terminal was 
	connected up with Makai. 
	 Using that a man called Gotou is summoning and manipulating demons. 
	I sent Demon Summoning Program to many people. To stop the insurgence 
	of demonic chaos, I increase number of men who can control demons.
	But handling them is difficult." 
   You are asked whether you understood that. Answer yes and he continues. 
	"Hence I will give you this program. It analyses and memorizes 
	the data on demons, that you encounter, so that you can always look 
	it up." 
   You get the Devil Analyze program.
	"If you meet anything that worries you, come here." 
   You get a chance to save.  
	"Now, go to the Director's room on second floor and open the door. 
	There flip one more switch, and you will be able to go outside."
   Explore the building. Door outside is auto-locked, so you need to go to
 Director's room on second floor. 
   Find the director's room and go into it. You will find Director standing
 inside. He will ask you:
	"Was your remodelling operation finished ?"
   If you answer yes, he says:
	"He-he-he-heh. You are a bad liar...
	Your actions are too easy to see through...
	I will remodel you into good puppets..."
   If you answer no, he says:
	"And do you stil not listen to what I say. Wicked humans. 
	I will remodel you into good puppets."
   You fight Datenshi Oriasu. If you defeat him, you switch the Auto-Lock
 off on the outside door. Now go down to first floor and out of the building.
 Now go to the red pipe in the Inogashira Park. The place has Jakyou, Kaifuku 
 and two chests with stuff. Afterwards go to shopping mall 
   Now go to place where delinquents hang out. You see all four of them
 and a boy lying at there feet.
   Ozawa:
	"You blockhead  ! 
	 What demon !? 
	 Are you still dreaming or something ? 
	 Hey, guys, beat him up some more."
   Lone boy is being beaten by delinquents surrounding him.
   Ariel:
	"What a horrible thing... Cowards are unforgivable. What are you
	doing ? Stop."
   Three guys run away, leaving Ozawa behind.
   Ozawa:
	"Damn, someone interrupted me. Anyway, do not even think about
	doing such kind of thing again."
   Boy:
	"By lowly rascals... like you... will not be defeated...
	absolutely not..."
   Ariel:
	"Are you OK ?"
   Boy:
	"Shut up ! If only I had more power just now. Someone like would
	not have had..."
   Ariel:
	"What ? Remiel-kun, he is still saying such things.."
   Boy:
	"Oi, what did you just say ? Did you say Remiel ?"
   He stands up.
   Boy:
	"Are you Remiel ? Just as I thought ! It was not just a dream.
	Then you are Ariel ?"
   Ariel:
	"... And you are Abdiel-kun, are not you ?"
   Abdiel:
	"Well, it looks like you've saved my neck. That son of a bitch ! 
	If only I had more power... With just my own power, I can not even
	beat them. If I can not beat Ozawa's gang, there is no chance of me 
	beating demons. Please ! Take me into your party.
	 Even if you say no, I will still follow you !" 
   He joins the party. Now go back home. As you come into your room,
 your mother is there.
	"Welcome back, Remiel. I always worry abut you. Today you came back 
	home safety. I am happy. Well now, come here. 
	 What are you doing ? Quickly come here. I have always loved you.  
	Quickly !"
   Ariel:
	"Something is strange."
   Abdiel:
	"Strange smell..."
   Demon:
	"Heh. You are sharp.
	 Ah well. I took your parents and I am not regretting it. I will 
	quickly re-unite you with them inside my stomach. But I want to enjoy 
	myself as much as possible before that."
   You fight Jaki Amanosakugami. If you beat him, you get an ID-Card.
   Ariel:
	"I do not know what to say in such time.... Do not let your
	spirit fall..."
   Abdiel:
	"Put aside consolations, Ariel. And let him mourn his murdered
	parents quietly."
   Pascal:
	"Waw ! Waw ! Waw ! Waw !"
    Pascal jumps in. He pesters you, trying to make you take him along. You
 can choose to do it or not. 
    Go to your room, and go to sleep. Then after waking up, go out of
 of the house. Shortly to the south of your house you are stopped by a man,
 who tells you, that a murderer was arrested here yesterday.
    You might want to go to Jakyou in Inogashira Park, now, and fuse your
 dog, Pascal, with any demon. I used Yousei Pixie. He will turn into
 Majuu Cerberos, Lv. 40. And you will be allowed to mix him. Need I say,
 that he is VERY powerful at this point in the game...
   Now head on to Ecobuilding. As you arrive, the voice says:
	"Please, use the ID-Card."
   You use the ID-Card and enter the building. Explore it. It has 5 floors.
 When you get to the fifth floor and head down one of the corridors, you will 
 meet Yuriko.
   Yuriko:
	"Going there, huh ? Well, what with your strength, whatever
	happens, you will be OK."
   Continue that way, and you will enter Terminal Room.  You will see a 
 suspicious man conducting some sort of ceremony.
   Summoner:
   	"My brethren ! Come here from Makai ! Now !...
         Eh ? You do not learn, do you ? You came to be beaten again."
   You are asked whether you want to flee. If you answer no, the summoner
 will continue.
   Summoner:
	"I will not soil with your blood a place, where I will meet
	my brethren from Makai... Get out !"
   He pushes you out of the room.
   Summoner:
	"This time, there is no escape... I will not let you stop me !"
   You fight Choujin Douman. If you beat him go back to the Terminal Room.
   You will see a strange machine.
   Cerberos:
	"Grrrrr...."
    Cerberos growls at the machine and then leaps into it. And then he 
 disappears. You are then told that this is Computer Correspondence 
 Terminal of Ecouilding. Now you are given a choice of:
	Transmit 	- Teleport yourself via Terminal.
	Save     	- Save the game
        Go Outside 	- Leave terminal room.
    (This is a standard choice at any terminal)
   Choose Transmit. Teleport yourselves to Research Institutei - Kenkyuujo, 
 the only available choice. You will find yourself in another building. 
 Explore both floors and find the exit. 
   After you exit the building you find yourselves in Sendagaya. Go north
 and east into Shinjuku until you will reach two yellow buildings standing
 relatively close to each other. Enter either of them. This is Shinjuku, where 
 Eleanor was supposed to have gone and where you should look for her.
   Enter the place and get to B1. There is lots of stuff here. Explore around,
 do some shopping for new weapons, fuse some demons in Jakyou.
   Then head off to Bar 1, the one you meet Yuriko in. Talk to the owner. 
 He will ask you some questions.
   Owner:
	"I have not seen you here before. Eh ? You... Do you have a Demon 
	Summoning Program ?"
   If you answer yes, he asks:
	"Do you think it is good to let this condition of demons rampaging
	 go on ?"
   If you answer no, he asks:
	"Do you think that you should not get involved with some great power 
	to return the peace ?"
   If you answer yes, he says:
	"There is something I have to give you. If you carry it with you, 
	you will meet the person you are looking for."
  	 You get Bar Matches. 
   If you give any sequence of answers other than above, he will send you 
 away.
   After you have got the Bar Matches take the staircase down to B1F. Take
 the one, that is right outside the terminal. Follow the passage and shortly 
 you will be met by a man. He asks you:
   Man:
	"No trespassing here. Do you have a special item ?"
   Answer yes. He will say:
   Man:
	"Let me see... It is genuine. Pass."
   Go further on, and you will find a Resistance hideout. You are met by a 
 resistance member:
   Resistance man:
	"You came here. Well done !"
   Ariel:
	"You are Reasistance Leader ?"
   Resistance man:
	"Wait a second ! I am not a leader. Outsiders are not allowed
	to meet our leader..."
   Female voice:
	"These people are safe. I will meet them personally..."
   Resistance man:
	"Are you sure ? ...Understood. Leader is inside..."
   A girl comes out to you. She speaks:
   Girl:
	"Welcome ! Remiel-san... Ariel-san... Abdiel-san... I was
	waiting for you to arrive. I am Resistance Leader Eleanor."
   Ariel:
	"You are called Eleanor ?"
   Resistance Leader Eleanor:
	"You shoud remember me. In a dream, when I was just about to be 
	sacrificed, you have rescued me. And then I have waited. For you 
	to appear in real life and help me.
	 I have things to tell you. At this moment in Tokyou a man called 
	Gotou is summoning demons and using their power to try to remake 
	world to his own liking. 
	 Thinking that all of this is turning into a serious threat, American 
	ambassador Thorman leads in the American troops for armed suppression 
	of the situation.
	 We can not obstruct Gotou AND stop American troops. The way it is 
	now - Tokyou will be destroyed. I ask you, please, work together 
	with us on this one. 
	 First, help the people, who were arrested because they had the same 
	name as me."
   Ariel:
	"You know where Eleanor is ???"
   Eleanor:
   	"... ...
	 Then we need to destroy the group of Ozawa, who recently started
	to work as agents of Gotou..."
   Abdiel:
	"Oi ! What did ya just say ? Did ya say Ozawa ?"
   Eleanor:
	"... ...
	 I ask of you - please lend us your strength."
   Ariel:
	"If my strength is suitable, I will gladly lend it to you..."
   Abdiel:
	"If you are an enemy of Ozawa, you are my ally. I will lend ya 
	a hand..."
    You are asked, if you want to help the Resistance Leader Eleanor.
    If you answer no, Ariel says:
   Ariel:
	"Remiel-kun. This is not the case where you can just sit,
	watch and do nothing." 
   Abdiel:
	"True, true. Will you not help the girl from the dream ?"
   And then you are asked the same question again. So, you have to 
 answer yes. 
   If you answer yes, she says:
	"Thank you very much."
   Female voce:
	"U-huh. So you were in a place like this..."
   Yuriko teleports in.
   Yuriko:
	"At last I found real Eleanor ! I am taking her to 
	Ozawa's place..."
   With that she teleports out and takes Eleanor with her. Resistance man
 runs in.
   Resistance man:
	"What did you do ? What was that... WHAT !? Leader was kidnapped !
	 ... 
	 Well , we do not have time for hestitation ! Go and save our leader !"
   Members of resistance run out of the room. You follow them.
   Now head out back to the main floor (B1). On the exit from hideout area, 
 you will meet a man.
   Man:
	"Sorry for the trouble. Everyone went to search for Leader.
 	I was left here to look after the place. 
	 All the members, who know anything about Leader's whereabouts will 
	gather at that Bar..."
   Go the Bar 1. To the right of the entrance to the bartender's room, you 
 will find a Resistance member.
   Resistance man:
	"Horrible thing has happened... Our leader is to be executed. She 
	will be publically executed in front of the Tokyo Government Office ! 
	I beg you, please help her..."
   Now go out of the Shinjuku up to the surface. Go to a small house 
 northwest of there, just below a road-block. In one of the rooms inside you 
 will find a lone man.
   Abdiel:
	"Ozawa ! I will pay ya back for the other day !"
   Ozawa:
	"Ah. The yongster from Kichijijou, are not you ? Are you still 
	playing around with handling the demons ?"
   Ariel:
	"Why did you try to arrest Eleanor ? Where is _my_ Eleanor ?"
   Ozawa:
	"I do not care about Gotou or Eleanor. I only wanted Gotou's
	power. One day I will take Gotou's place. I became able to summon
	demons. I have no time to waste on you now. Play with this guy
	instead..."
   He summons Yuuki Beikoku. You fight him. If you beat him, you see Ozawa 
 disappearing.
   Abdiel:
	"Shit ! Where did he escape to ?"
   Now go out of the building you are in and go to the tall huge building 
 directly to the south - that is Tokyo Government Office, where Eleanor is 
 held. Enter it and go along the corridor. Go through the door and you will 
 be intercepted by a soldier.
   Soldier:
	"Soon public execution will start..."
   Go through the door and emerge to the Square in front of the Tokyo 
 Government Building. It is full of Coup D'Etat soldiers, demons and the 
 human crowds. In the middle of the square tied to a cross is Eleanor.
   Ariel:
	"Eleanor-san ! Quickly, help her !"
   Abdiel:
	"Stop ! Calm down ! How do you plan to get to the plaza ?"
   Yuriko:
	"Eleanor, the Leader of the Resistance Group, that was working 
	against the great Gotou-sama has finally been captured.
	 A great deal of sabotage was commited by this woman. But Gotou-sama 
	forgave it all in his leniency. 
	 But the crime of opposing Gotou-sama will not just vanish. 
	This woman, Eleanor, will be... executed !
	 But wait. A rat is hiding over there. 
	 Please, do come out ! I will give you a very special guided tour of 
	this event !"
   You come out in front of the Yuriko.
   Yuriko:
	"With this say good-bye to Eleanor, Remiel. If only, from the 
	beginning, you would have chosen me, this sad day needn't have 
	to come."
   With that she disappears and you have to wait through several waves of 
 demons. If you beat them, Yuriko appears again:
   Yuriko:
	"I have lost here, haven't I..."
   She disappears again. You rush forward to Eleanor, hanging from the cross.
   Eleanor:
	"Just like in the dream, you came and saved me. Thank you.  
	We can not use the old hideout anymore, so please go to that
	Bar. 
	 You should quickly make your way out of here."
   Go back to the Rei's Bar. You will be met by Resistance member.
   Resistance man:
	"We are truly grateful to you, for rescuing the Leader..."
   Eleanor's voice:
	"Did Remiel-san and his friends came ?"
   Resistance man:
	"Yes, they did..."
   Eleanor:
	"Remiel-san... Ariel-san... Abdiel-san... Thank you very much. 
	It wasn't just my life, that you have saved. You have saved the 
	last hope of preventing the destruction of Tokyo. In return we 
	will share with you information, we have collected.
	 Ariel-san. Eleanor-san, for whom you are searching, has been
	taken to the headquarters of Ichigaya Coup D'Etat forces."
   Ariel:
	"I see..."
   Eleanor:
	"Abdiel-san. Ozawa, whom you are so well acquainted with -
	we discovered the refuge of him and his group. Very shortly, 
	we will initiate the operation to attack it and to capture 
	Ozawa's group."
   Ariel:
	"Remiel-kun, I am going to rescue Eleanor. If I do not do it
	now, I may not be there in time."
   Abdiel:
	"Remiel. Too bad, but I will have to go along with that 
	operation of Resistance. I can not let Ozawa go, no matter 
	what."
   With that they both leave the party. Eleanor speaks:
   Eleanor:
	"Looks like it's just you alone now... 
	 Please, can you participate in something with me ? We must 
	meet Gotou of Ichigaya and the American Ambassador. To save 
	Tokyo from destruction."
   Eleanor joins the party.
   Eleanor:
	"Ichigaya's Coup D'Etat forces headquarters are to the east of 
	Shinjuku. American embassy is in Roppongi. We will have to go to
 	Yotsuya, south of Ichigaya, and take an underground passage.
	 Forged ID-cards have been prepared, that will allow us to get 
	in there."
   You receive forged ID-Cards.
   Eleanor:
	"Come, let's go..."
   Now you must travel to both of those places. First go to Gotou's base in 
 in Ichigaya. It is a long building, surrounded by trees, in the north-east 
 corner of the available map. As you try to enter it, patrol stops you:
   Soldier:
	"No entry for the civilians ! Go back !
	 What ? You carry an ID-Card ? Ok, pass through."
   The building is three floors high plus basement. Gotou's room is on the 
 third floor. Explore the building and then go into Gotou's room. As you 
 enter it he speaks:
   Gotou:
	"Welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen ! 
	 I was waiting for you. I am Gotou. 
	 Eleanor there undoubtedly hates me...  
         But, first of all,  I would like you to listen, to what I 
	have to say. At this moment a plan is progressing to create 
	a Thousand-Year Kingdom in the name of the God.  
	 Thousand-Year Kingdom... It is said, that people living
	in it are promised everlasting peace. But it will be permitted
	only to a handful of those chosen by God. The rest, in God's
	intention, will be massacred by American army.
	 Even now, although you do not know it, ancient gods are trying to 
	prevent a missile strike at Japan. But still our power is not strong 
	enough. Please, we need you to lend your strength to us.
	 Ladies and gentlemen, I will give you some time to think, before 
	you give me the answer."
   With that you leave his room. Now go out of the building and head
 south from it to a small yellow building, which is an entrance to the
 underground passage to American Embassy. Halfway down the passage you will
 be stopped.
   American soldier:
	"Stop ! Stop now ! No trespassing beyond this point.
	Oh. You carry ID-Cards. Please, pass through."
   He lets you through. Continue along the corridor until you will 
 emerge into the embassy. There are two floors to it and ambassador is on 
 the second floor. Find your way to him. He greets you as you enter his 
 office.
   American ambassador:
	"WELCOME ! NICE TO MEET YOU ! 
	 I am American ambassador Thorman. I have heard rumors about you. 
	You are very welcome here.
	 We have sent in American troops to rescue everyone from demons.
	But we are still not strong enough. Gotou... He is trying to call  
	Maou Lucipher to Tokyo. He must be defeated before he suceeds.
	 We do not match up to the power demons. You do. Please, I ask 
	you to defeat Gotou. If you will help, peace will return to Toukyo. 
	It will regain its spirit." 
   What follows depends on whether you chose to visit Gotou or Tooruman
 first. You have reached one of the places in the game, where you have to 
 make a choice, which will affect your Alignment.  
   By now you have heard both sides of the argument. Quite clearly Ambassador
 Thorman represents Law side, while Commander Gotou represents Chaos side. 
   If you gravitate more towards the Law, if you feel that Thorman is right
 and demons should be annihilated completely, if you feel that ideal 
 of Thousand Year Kingdom is worthy - then go talk to Thorman and agree 
 to help him. After you do so, your alignment will become Law. 
   If Chaos is closer to your heart, if you Commander Gotou's speech made 
 sense, if you feel that demons and humans should co-exist with each other,
 if you are wary of any salvation, that is promised to only chosen few - 
 then go to Gotou and agree to help him. After you do saw, your alignment 
 will become Chaos. 
   If you still haven't decided yet, if you feel you need to see more of 
 both sides to make such a decisions or if you believe that neither is 
 entirely right in their ways - that means you want to stay, for a while 
 yet, on the path of Balance. In that case - first go to Gotou and refuse to 
 help him. He will attack you - slay him. Then head off to Thorman and repeat 
 the same. Make sure you go to Gotou _first_, then Thorman. This way your 
 alignment will remain Neutral. 
   Here is the dialogue for both of them:
 		       1. Commander Gotou:
 			     ------->.<-------
   He asks you:
	"It seems you have reached the decision. Will you lend me
	your power ?" [1]
   If you say yes to [1], he says:
	"You will lend me your power !? Then go to the American embassy.
	Please, persuade American ambassador to stop the attack of American 
	army."
   Now go to Thorman again. When you get back, you will go through the same 
 dialogue as you get if you tell Thorman, that you get when you answer no to
 [4] in Thorman's case. 
   If you say no to [1], he says:
	"You are saying you will oppose me ? In that case, I will not let 
	you live any further !"
   Then he summons two waves of demons, which you fight.
	"After all, demons can not match you... 
	 I will then obliterate you with my own hands."
   You fight Choujin Gotou. If you kill him he says:
	"What will happen, once I die ? Ladies and gentlemen, you have not 
	considered that..."
   Then he dies and you can go back to Thorman.
   If you come to him after agreeing to help Thorman, it is similar to you 
 refusing to help him, except he starts with:
	"It seems like you have been talked into becoming agents of God..."
   And then it is as if you said no to [1].
 			     ------->.<-------

 		       2. American Ambassador Thorman:
 			     ------->.<-------
		
   Once you come back to him, he speaks:
	"Have you still not reached conclusion ? Do you want to listen
	to my speech once again ?" [1]
   If you answer yes to [1], he repeats his speech. 
   If you answer no to [1], he asks:
	"Have you decided ? Will you listen to my request ?" [2]
   If you answer yes to [2], he says:
	"Oh ! Thank you very much. Now defeat Gotou."
   If you now go, defeat Gotou and come back to him, he will say:
	"You have beaten Gotou now !? 
	 This... This..."
   He turns into Majin Thor.
	"...this I appreciate. Well done. I - Majin Thor - was sent 
	to thank you on God's behalf !
   He asks you:
	"Do you want to work for God from now on ?" [3]
   If you answer yes to [3], he says:
	"That's an admirable spirit. Gotou's plans have been stopped now. 
	But it's too late - large numbers of demons have already entered 
	Tokyo. To obliterate this swarm of demons, I will cast down my 
	Hammer. Hammer of Thor. In a short time Tokyo will be directly hit 
	by a cluster of ICBM missiles.
	 Unclean, vain city of Tokyo with all its demons will soon disappear 
	completely from the face of the earth. With that done, the 
	preparations for construction of Thousand-Year Kingdom will be
	greatly advanced. 
 	 Farewell." 
   With that he leaves. And in 30 seconds Tokyo explodes under the might 
 of Thor's Hammer. 
   If you answer no to [3], he says:
	"Are you saing, that you would not listen to what I say !? In that
	case, I - Majin Thor - will take your lives !"
   Then you fight Majin Thor. If you defeat him, he says: 
   If you answer no to [2], he asks:
	"Will you not ? Then you think it is fine for Gotou to do what he 
	is doing ?" [4]
   If you answer no to [4], he says:
	"If you consider it, rationally, surely you will convince
	yourself to help me."
   Now you are free to leave and deal with Gotou, if you want to. 
   If you answer yes to [4], he says:
                   "So... to what I said..."
         He turns into Majin Thor.
                  "You are saying that you will not listen to what I said ?
                In that case I, Majin Thor, will take your lifes !"
         Then you fight Majin Thor. If you defeat him, he says:
   Thor:
	"Unbelievable...
	 To be defeated by you...
	 But I have already cast down my Hammer... Soon Toukyo will 
	be directly hit with ICBM missiles. Tokyo and all its demons
	will vanish....  
	 Glory to God's Thousand-Year Kingdom !!!"
   With that he dies and a thirty-second countdown to the nuclear blast
 starts. In thirty seconds history of human race, as we know it, will end. 
 			     ------->.<-------
		
   As you might have realised, whichever way you choose - Tokyo still ends
 up exploding in the white furnace of a nuclear blast. As the explosion wave 
 is about to hit you, Eleanor shouts:
   Eleanor:
	"At this rate, both of us are going to die... But maybe just you 
	alone... you can survive...Time... there is no time... 
	 Farewell, Remiel."
   Eleanor casts Teleport spell, teleporting you out of the blast. As 
 everything fades, a large yellow vortex appears in front you, spinning, 
 spinning, closing in, sucking you in...

			  PART 2  -- MAKAI, TIME UNKNOWN

   You wake up in a strange bluish room. A man is standing in front of you.
   Man:
	"You have awoken ? 
	 I am Ennoodzuno. Well, now, it looks like there were two other 
	people washed up here. You know the pair of them very well. You
	should go and look for them. 
	 We will talk more after all three of you will get together. If you 
	get injured or will want to rest - my servants, Zenki and Goki will 
	help you. They are to the either side of this room. You'd better go 
	and meet them."
   With that you are shown out of the room. If you turn around to face where 
 you've just came from, there will be three rooms behind you. The one you 
 just left is Ennoudzuno's room. 
   In the room to the left is Goki, who was told by Ennoudzuno-sama
 to heal you and to treat your injuries.
   In the room to the rigt is Zenki, who was told by Ennoudzuno-sama
 to record your actions (i.e. to save your game).
   After you visited both, go out and explore the the place you found 
 yourself in. There is Jakyou just nearby. You can find some of your demons
 in various rooms. 
   First go to NE corner of available area. You will see Ariel sitting there.   
   Ariel:
	"... ...
	 Who ?!
	 ...Remiel-kun !
	 You came here ?
	 Where on Earth is this place ? I was looking for Eleanor and suddenly 
	I was enveloped by a white light... When I regained consciousness, 
	I was here. Anyhow, we must find a way to leave this place."
   With this he joins the party. 
   Now go to the room in the NW corner of available area. You will see Abdiel
   sitting in a heap on the floor, whispering to himself:
   Abdiel:
	"He-help. Somebody, help..."
   He stands up.
	 "Remiel-kun !? I am saved.
	 I allwed that bastard Ozawa escape... And then got blown off to 
	such place - damn, I had such a hard time...
	 Anyhow, demons here are too much for me on my own. Take me with 
	you again..."
     With this he joins the party.
   When you got Ariel and Abdiel back, you will be able to come back and talk 
 with Ennougzuno. As you come into his room, he greets you:
   Ennoudzuno:
	"It seems like there are all three of you here now. This place is 
	Kongoushinkai. From your point of view, this place would be called
	Makai. 
	 Well... The world, where you came from, was completely ruined..."
   Ariel:
	"What in the world has happened ? What became of Earth ?"
   Ennoudzuno:
	"It's not something to worry too much about. Human race still has 
	not been destroyed."
   Abdiel:
	"Then return us back to Earth !"
   Ennoudzuno:
	"Returning you would not be a good idea. Ruined Earth can turn out 
	to be a place more cruel than Hell."
   Ariel:
	"If so, we must definitely go back - to defeat the demons and 
	regain a world of peace !"
   Ennoudzuno:
	"If you want to return to your original world, then listen to 
	my request..."
   If you answer yes, he says:
	"In the inner part of Kongoushinkai there is a spring.  Fetch me 
	Sooma, that flows from that spring. Ima wo nogasu to shibaraku matsu 
	koto ni naru. I had the South door opened."
   If you answer no, he says:
	"With your current power, you will never leave this place."
   Unless you want to stay in Hell forever, sooner or later you will agree to 
 help Ennou. So answer yes, when he asks you whether you want to listen to his
 request. After that go out of the South Door (which was locked up until now) 
 and explore the newly available region.
   The Sooma spring is in the NE corner of the new part of the map.  As you 
 arrive, you are asked whether you want to take some of the flowing Sooma. 
 If you answer yes, you will get some. Now head back to Ennoudzuno.
   As you come back, he greets you:
   Ennoudzuno:
	"Ooh, you brought it."
   You hand Sooma over to him. He drinks it.
   Ennoudzuno:
	"Uh, it's still not enough. Please, bring me another one."
   Go and bring him another Sooma. When you  come back and give it to him, 
 he says:
   Ennoudzuno:
	"You brought it..
	 I am sorry for the trouble I put you to. I have enough Sooma 
	now. I will give that one to you.
	 By the way, in Kongoushinkai a pair of Kaijins have settled down 
	in Kongoushinkai...
	 It seems, that they have some very good weapons in their posession.
         Sore o uketotte koi yoi na ?"
   If you answer no, he says:
                "It seems you have trouble learning."
   If you answer yes, he say:
	"I have opened North Door. But only Remiel will go. I have
	some other things for Ariel and Abdiel to do."
   Well, go out through the door to the north, that used to be locked
 and explore the new area. You better have some good demons fused now. It's
 a bit tough without both of your companions. <eg>
   After you will get weapons from both Kaijins come back to Ennoudzuno.
 When you do so, he will speak:
   Ennoudzuno:
	"You have returned, Remiel."
   Ariel:
	"You are safe, that's what's most important..."
   Abdiel:
	"You took your time, didn't you ?"
   Both of them rejoin your party.
   Ennoudzuno:
	"Sorry for the trouble I put you through. I will give this to 
	Re-Miel."
   He gives Remiel Mikadzuki No Tachi (Crescent Moon Sword).
   Ennoudzuno:
	"Time has come for you to return to your original world. I opened
	the Eastern Door. You should got through it at any time you choose."
   Go to the door on the eastern side of the outside perimeter, which used to 
 be locked. At the door you are met by Zenki and Goki.
   Zenki:
	"Sorry for the trouble. If you pass through here, you will
           return to the original world."
   Goki:
	"...but unless you win over us, you will not pass."
   You fight them. If you beat them, you can pass through the door. On the 
 other side of the door, you are met by Ennoudzuno.
   Ennoudzuno:
	"You won over Zenki and Goki...?
	 Now it should be OK. 
	 For you to return to original world. Do not be surprised, though, 
	if the world has completely changed."
   Then he casts a spell which whirls you out of Makai and back to your 
 original world. 

			  PART 3  -- EARTH, 202X 

   You find yourself in the middle of what looks like ruined Toukyo, in 
 Yoyogi region. You arrive to a small clearing in the grove of trees. As soon 
 as you will attempt to go out of it, you will see a small hooded figure.
   Shabby man:
	"Hey there, Mister. Show some mercy. I have not eaten for 
	many days. Please..."
   You are asked whether you want to give him money or not.
   If you choose to give him money, Abdiel says:
   Abdiel:
	"Hey, stop wasting money like that..."
   If you chouse not to give him any money, Ariel says:
   Ariel:
	"Poor man... Let's give him some money..."
   Remiel gives the man some money.
   Shabby man:
	"What's this !? Gimme some Makka. Without '&' you can't
	buy anything. And moneyless people become slaves of Ozawa
	of Shinjuku.
	 What, you don't know anything about Shinjuku either ? Go 
	North from here and then West... It's not too far.."
   Remiel's money are mere scrap paper now. Your money disappear.
   Shabby man:
	"Ke.. Tottoto kiena !"
   He goes away. As you continue onwards, you hear something.
   Female voice:
	"Kyaaaa ! Heeeelp !"
   Remiel hears female scream.
   Ariel:
	"What happened, Remiel-kun ?"
   Abdiel:
	"Scream ? We did not hear anything."
   Female voice:
	"Help....  Remiel... Help...."
   Female voice reverberates through Remiel's mind. Remiel's body loses
 its strength.
   This sequence (female voice crying for help and Remiel losing HPs)
 will repeat itself every full moon now, until a certain event later on
 in the game.
   Well, now you have to go to Shinjuku. There are three yellow buildings 
 immediately to the North of you. Lower two are the entrances to Shinjuku. 
 Upper one is the building with huge TV screen on it. If you approach it, 
 Abdiel says:
   Abdiel:
	"Remiel, Ariel - look ! That building had remained intact."
   The HoloVision is projecting the image of a Messia follower.
   Messia follower:
	"People, believe in God ! The Earthly paradise of Thousand
	Year Kingdom is waiting for everyone. Do not lose the love
	for God, and you will go to Thousand Year Kingdom."
   Abdiel:
	"Worthless talk ! We have not the time - let's go."
   Ariel:
	"Maybe we will learn something interesting. Let's
	listen to it."
   Messiah follower:
	"To live believing in God is our duty. 30 years ago a
	Great Destruction was wrought upon the world."
   Ariel:
	"Did you hear this ! 30 years ago !!!"
   Messiah follower:
	"The Great Destruction was a trial, given to us by God.
	Due to the strength of every person who put up with the Trial,
	who continued to believe in God with all their will, the signs
	of revival of the world are showing. Believing in God..."
   The sermon continues.
   Now enter the Shijuku via either of the buildings just to the South.    
 It is Shinjuku, but not quite as you remember it. The layout is the same,
 but the populace of it is completely different.
   Explore around, do some shopping, prepare your party. 
   When you are ready, go to the staircase up in NW corner. The one that used
 to lead to Yakuza offices in Old Shijuku. Shortly after entering 2F, you will
 be stopped.
   Policeman:
	"What business do you have in Ozawa-sama's office ?" 
   Shortly afterwards you will find Ozawa's office. Enter it.
   Ozawa:
	"What business do you have with me ?"
   Abdiel:
	"Ozawa ! You have not changed at all since back then. The way you rule
	is the same as always - by bullying the weak."
   Ozawa:
	"Heh. Get to the point, yongster. Are you unhappy with my way 
	of doing things ? But those who obey me, can survive in the 
	ruined world, can live without being attacked by demons."
   Abdiel:
	"Shut up ! I will absolutely not forgive you !"
   Ozawa:
	"What an unruly boy... Takeminakata-sama, deal with this interfering 
	brat."
   Kishin Takeminakata appears. He suddenly attacks. The party is hit for 
 _major_ damage.
   Ariel:
	"It's useless. We can not beat this guy. Let's run !"
   Abdiel:
	"Shit ! To come all the way here..."
   You flee. As you go away from the office, Abdiel confronts you.
   Abdiel:
	"I need more power to defeat Ozawa ! 
	 Oh, yes ! Demon power !
	 I want to carry the power of a demon in my body !"
   Ariel:
	"What are you saying ! If you fuse yourself with a demon, you will 
	cease to be human. Once you do something like that, who know what
	will happen..." 
   Abdiel:
	"Ariel ! You wouldn't understand..."
   Now go back to B1F and make your way to the Jakyou. As you enter it, 
 Abdiel confronts you again:
   Abdiel:
	"I need more power ! I do not care if it is power of demon !  
	To beat Ozawa... no... to survive in this world, I will fuse myself 
	with a demon."
   Abdiel then fuses himself with a random demon of yours. You are treated
 to the fusion sequence and to his new, _cool_ outfit. <g>
   Abdiel:
	"At last I got my hands on power ! Now I will not lose to anyone !"
   If you check his stats, you will see that he was upgraded to Lv. 37. <g>
 Now you can go back to Ozawa, that's for sure. As you walk back into his 
 office, Ozawa addresses you:
   Ozawa:
	"Heh. Obnoxious fellows. 
	 I let you go and this is how you repay me...
	 Now that I think about it, there used
	to be bunch of mischievous youngsters, very similar to you, in 
	the old days."
   Abdiel:
	"Ozawa ! This time I will not lose."
   Ozawa:
	"Despite it all, you are going to go against me ? 
	 I will get PsychoDiver to brainwash you and turn you into my 
	slaves.
	 Takeminakata-sama, seize these people, please."
   Kishin Takeminakata appears.
   Abdiel:
	"The way I am no - we can fight this guy !"
   You fight him. If you beat him, you receive Tomoe no Naginata. (Crescent
 Halberd). Then Ozawa speaks:
   Ozawa:
	"How... ! You have defeated Takeminakata-sama.....
	 Though I have done wrong, please spare my life... I beg you..."
   You are asked whether you finish him off. [1]
   If you say yes to [1], Abdiel shouts:
   Abdiel:
	"The one who will finish him off is me !"
   You are asked whether it is OK. [2]
   If you say yes to [1], he proceeds to do so. The he speaks:
   Abdiel:
	"At last I came to defeat Ozawa.
	...Remiel ! Ariel ! You are too soft. This way, you are not 
	even going to survive for long. 
	 I got my own power by fusing with the demon, so I do not 
	need to hang out with you any more. Good bye. 
	 If you survive, we will meet again."
   If you answer no to [1], he says:
   Abdiel: 
	"Really ? Will you not finish off a guy like him ?" [3]
   If you still say no to [3], he finishes him off anyway. Then he speaks.     
   Abdiel:
	"At last I came to defeat Ozawa.
	...Remiel ! Ariel ! You are too soft. This way, you are not 
	even going to survive for long. 
	 I got my own power by fusing with the demon, so I do not 
	need to hang out with you any more. Good bye. 
	 If you survive, we will meet again."
   With that he leaves.
   As you go away from his office, you will meet the policeman.
   Policeman:
	"Yo..you defeated Ozawa. What am I going to do ?"
   Now go back to B1. (You might want to save the game on the way). When 
 ready, go to the staircase in SE part of B1, leading down to where 
 Resistance hideout used to be. 
   As you follow the passage to the former hideout, you will be stopped
 by strange figure.
   Wendigo:
	"What's your business ?
	 If you value your life, you better leave...
	 Or are you messengers from Ozawa ?"
   If you answer yes, he says:
	"Ozawa must come in person. You will not pass here !"
   If you answer no, he says:
	"Then go away, before I changed my mind !"
   Answer yes - then you will fight Jaki Wendigo. If you beat him,
 you are asked if you want to enter inside. Answer yes.
   Go straight down the corridor, without turning, and soon you will
 reach the room with PsychoDiver. Enter it. You will see a cage with
 a man locked in it. He will greet you:
   Man:
	"Who are you ?? 
	 I am the poor man used by Ozawa. Ozawa captures those who do not obey 
	him and brainwashes them, tampering with their brains. I am the 
	instrument for that purpose - the PsychoDiver. Simply because I 
	posses ESP ability, every day, every day I am forced, against my will, 
	to creep into people's minds. When I am not doing that, I am kept 
	in jail.
	 But... I can't go against Ozawa, who made pact with demons.   
	 Aah, my life is a misery now...! 
	 Heh... I made you listen to all this boring stuff...
	 ...Eh ?
	 Remiel-kun, your mind is behaving strangely. You Partner, your 
	other self, got in a pinch. You better help your Partner quickly."
   If you defeated Ozawa:
	"Eh ? You defeated Ozawa ! 
	 In this case, it should be OK for me to get out of this place.  
	 Thanks to you I am free. I wanted to drink so much, but there 
	wasn't any way for me to do it. Now I will go at it like there's
	no tomorrow !"
   He headed off to get sake, so go to Bar #3 to find him. As you find him
 there, he speaks to you:
   PsychoDiver:
	"Thanks to your help I can drink sake here.
	...Presently there is no use for my ability to creep inside minds."
   Well, we will just have to give him a use for it, won't we ? Remember
 that stuff about Your Other Self, who got in a pinch ? That would not be
 that female voice that cries inside your head every Full Moon, would it ?
 And remember the man in the bar mentioning that a girl Messiah showed up
 in Shibuya ? Who was not heard much about recently ? ;-) Down south from
 Shinjuku we go now. To Shibuya !
   When you get to Shibuya, enter the yellow building accessible to you.
 Then explore the building. It's consists of just two floors, both being 
 pretty straightforward, though 2F has some dark areas.  
   In the corner on the 2F you will find a room with a girl chained to the 
 wall. The girl is the Messiah, but a demon creeped into her mind and 
 posessed her, so she had to be restrained. 
   Hmm, that wouldn't be the girl, whose voice echoes in Remiel's mind 
 every full moon ?  
   Well, we found the girl - now we need PsychoDiver. Use Shibuya's terminal
 to teleport yourself to Shinjuku and go to pub with PsychoDiver.
   PyschoDiver:
	"Thanks to you, I can drink sake like this.
	There is a voice in Remiel-kun's conciousness, that calls out to 
	him every full moon. Looks like something has creeped into the mind 
	of the owner of the voice. And as result of that, there is an 
	influence on your mind as well.
	 ..............
	 So the owner of the voice is the girl in Shibuya. In return for 
	rescuing me, I will see what I can do about it."
   He goes off in the direction of Shibuya.
   Go back to Shibuya, to the room where girl is chained to the wall.  
 PsychoDiver is already there. He says:
   PsychoDiver:
	"This girl seeks help from Remiel-kun. Something has creeped
	deep inside her mind. Whatever it is, it must be removed from
	her mind... 
	 In return for rescuing me, I will take you into her mind. 
	 Well, let's go !"
   You are taken inside the mind of the girl.
   PsychoDiver:
	"We have entered her mind.
	 ...
	 Floating from the inner part of her mind... 
	 Something... dark hostile swirl... 
	 No ! I will not go any further ! I am frightened !
	 I am sorry, but you will have to go by yourselves. I will stay 
	here. When you want to return to the real world, come back here."
   So you are on your own inside the girl's mind. Explore the area. Again,
 except for few teleporters it is pretty straightforward. 
   Your goal is the room in the very centre of the Eleanor's mind. As you
 enter it, you will see a lot of spiderwebs and a spider-like woman hanging
 from the webs.
   Arachne:
	"Who !? You, who came to spoil my fun, are you human ?
	 A little more, and this girl will become completely mine. 
	 You are not about to stop me !"
   You fight Kijo Arachne. Be careful, she casts charm spells. If you defeat 
 her, a shimmering figure appears.
   Girl's spirit:
	"I am saved ! Now, quickly, return to the real world !"
   She disappears.
   Head back out to PsychoDiver. As you reach him, he adresses you:
   PsychoDiver:
	"You've done it ! You saved the girl. Dark, hostile swirl has 
	vanished. Well then, let's go back from her mind to the real 
	world."
   You come back to the real world, back to the cell in Shibuya. The girl
 you rescued is revealed to look suspiciously like Eleanor. ;-)
   PsychoDiver:
	"You have rescued the girl. Now, my job here is over.
	 You can handle the rest... He-he-he..."
   PsychoDiver leaves.
   Eleanor:
	"....Remiel.... 
	 You have rescued me...
	 I have been reborn and came again into this world...
	 I have forgot everything about my previous life, except for
	one thing. You. About you I did not forget.
	 My destiny... is being by your side, being your companion."
   Eleanor joins the party. Hooorah ! ;-)
   Right, you have cleaned out Shinjuku and Shibuya, so the only place left 
 around is Roppongi, which is exactly where you go next.
   Head north from Shibuya to the tree grove, which you appeared in when
 you came back from Makai and then south and east to Roppongi. Enter small
 building west of Roppongi district (Roppongi district is the one covered by 
 kekkai). That building is basically an entrance to Roppongi district. After 
 emerging under the kekkai go to the building to the right of you. Roppongi 
 appears to be protected by something - you do not get attacked by demons. 
   Also in one of the nooks on the 1F, you will find a little girl in a
 blue dress.
   Girl:
	"I am Alice. Ne, ne, where did onii-chan come from ? Ne ne, is 
	Remiel-oniichan pleased with this city ? I want to have friends. 
	Remiel-oniichan, be my friend ! It will be great !!
	 This town was all made for my sake by Uncle Scarlet and Uncle 
	Black.
	 It was.
	 Nee, nee, let's go meet Uncle Scarlet ! I will ask him for you !"
   Well, let's go meet Scarlet Count then. Go and take elevator to the 3F. 
 Explore it, the only place of interest there is the halls of Scarlet
 Earl. As you enter it, you are met by a man:
   Secretary:
	"Little miss, this is worrying."
   Alice:
	"Ah, we arrived. We arrived. Now, secretary, please...."
   Secretary:
	"Little miss, this is unexcusable. I was told to let no
	 one pass through."
   Alice:
	"You are not listening to what I am saying. Yada, yada, yada, yada !"
   Secretary:
	"It is worrying. Wait a little, please..."
   He disappears and re-appears after little while.
   Secretary:
	"Scarlet Count will meet you now. Please come inside."
   Alice:
	"Well done. Just like I said before..."
   You are allowed through. Scarlet Count is in second room from the left.
   Scarlet Count:
	"So you are the ones whom Alice wanted me to meet with.  
	 We have created a town here, so that that child experiences no 
	discomfort. We have raised a kekkai here, so that that child is not 
	attacked by demons.
	 The only thing I want is to see that child happy. 
         Well, now, I am a busy man, so if you will excuse me..."
   Alice:
	"Uncle is a busy man, isn't he ? 
	 That's because he created this whole town. He really is wonderful.
	 Nee, nee, will you listen to my wish ? I want Hiranya. 
	 Nee, nee, buy me a Hiranya..."
   If you answer yes, she says:
	 "Ah, I am so happy. Quickly bring me one."
   If you answer no, she says:
	 "I will tell up on you to the Uncle. That you would not buy me 
	a Hiranya."
   You will end up agreeing to buy her one. If you do not have it, go back
 to Shinjuku and buy it in Junks shop there. As you come back, Alice says:
   Alice:
	"Nee, nee, have you bought it ? You had ! Thank you !
	 Nee, nee, I have just one more wish....
         Please, die for me...?"
   If you answer yes, she says
	"Waai ! I am happy. Onii-chan will always be together with me...
	 Quickly, quickly die... 
	 Nee, nee, quickly die, quickly... 
	 What you have not died yet ?"
   And then it is exactly as if you refused her request in the first place.
   If you answer no, Alice throws a tantrum.
   Alice:
	"You have not done what I asked you to. Waah !
	 You are horrible, horrible. Uncle, listen !
	 Onii-chan is so horrible."
   Scarlet Count appears.
   Scarlet Count:
	 "What happened, Alice ?"
   Alice:
	"I asked onii-chan to die, but onii-chan wouldn't die for me... 
	 I wanted to be with onii-chan forever... That's why I asked
	him that..."
   Scarlet Count:
	"There, there... 
	 It's OK. 
	 Uncle Scarlet will grant Alice's wish."
   At which point Scarlet Count turns into Maou Belial (!) and tries to kill 
 you. You can try to fight him, but your attacks will have no effect. When 
 you are almost dead, Eleanor will cry:
   Eleanor:
	"Looks like magic is not effective either. What will we do ?"
   You flee.
   Hmm. A nigh-on invincible Maou. How on Earth shall we beat him ? ;-) Well, 
 did not someone mention a bottle, which was very useful for binding 
 demons ? ;-) Off to B1 you go, via the elevator. The bottle is in the south 
 eastern part... It is called 'Wakemi no Tsubo'. When you get it, go back to 
 Belial's room.
   When you come back you are treated to Alice throwing the tantrum and
 Scarlet Count promising to kill you for her all over again. He turns into 
 Belial and gets an unpleasant surprise:
   Belial:
	"You... you have 'Wakemi no Tsubo' !"
   And then Belial is sealed into the bottle.
   Alice:
	 "Kyaaaa ! Uncle Scarlet ! Waaaaaaaah !
   Girl disappears. And guess who appears in the room ? Yuriko.  
   Long time no see. ;-)
   Yuriko:
	"Fufufufu. 
	 You are not doing too badly, are you... 
	 But making a girl cry is not a very nice thing to do. Oh, and by 
	the way, hand over the bottle that you sealed Belial in. It's too 
	dangerous for you to carry it around. Just hand it over. "
   If you say yes, she says:
	"Good that you handed it over nicely. Thanks, I will take it with me."
   She disappears with the bottle.
   If you say no, Yuriko says:
	"Unreasonable man."
   And then casts bind spell on the whole party (as enterprising as ever, our 
 Yuriko. <g> 30 years have not changed her style. <g> )
   Yuriko:
	"If you do not want to hand it over to me nicely - fine.
	 I will just take it myself."
   Then she takes the bottle and disappears.
   As you attempt to go out of the hall, you are met by Black Baron:
   Black Baron:
	"Do you even realise what you have done ? 
	 You crushed under your feet one girl's modest dream... 
	 Me and Belial were satisfied just to see that child's smiling 
	face. So we gave her an eternal life."
   Ariel:
	"And for that sake, you murdered thousands of people and held 
	their souls captive."
   Black Baron:
	"They have been given the eternal peace here. 
	 Eternal peace... 
	 That is what I will offer to you - eternal peace !!"
   Ariel:
	"Danger ! Step back !"
   Black Baron reaches out and grabs Ariel.
   Black Baron:
	"Ah, only got one of you. Ah, well, that's not too bad, I say...
         I have taken Ariel's soul."
   And with that he disappears. You leave the halls of Scarlet Count.
   Now go to the 2F and explore it. In the center you will find a 2x2 room,
 with steel door locking it.  You could not enter it before, but you can 
 go in now. Do so.  Inside there are two encounters:
   Ariel:
	"My body should be somewhere in the town. Just body, without spirit, 
	controlled by Black Baron. If you do not defeat Black Baron, I will 
	be imprisoned like this forever."
   And the other encounter is:
   Man:
	"Listen - my soul was extracted from my body by Black Baron.
	He is transforming the souls into energy. My soul will be transformed 
	soon, as well ! Help me !"
   Right. So all we have to do is to defeat Black Baron. ;-) Well, get all
 those tough demons into the party and go to his room in B1. As you come in,
 he speaks:
   Black Baron:
	"You came to rescue your friend ? 
	 How nice. Since you turned up for your punishment yourselves, 
	you saved me some work. Once more I will get my hands on some 
	fresh souls..."
   Then he turns into Datenshi Nebirosu and fights you.
   If you defeat him, he says:
   Nebirosu:
	"For Alice's sake... To re-create illusionary town...
	 To reanimate dead citizens... We needed... A lot of life
	energy... Why was it wrong to do that ... For the sake of
	someone we loved ?"
   Then Ariel's soul shows up.
   Ariel:
	"Thank you Remiel-kun. With your help, my soul was released.
	Thank you. And now, I will go to the world of the afterlife. 
	My only regret is that Eleanor, who became Bodyconian, was 
	not rescued.
         Farewell."
   Then a God's messenger shows up (the one from the beginning of the game).
   God's messenger:
	"This man, Ariel, is truly a devoted soul. it is appropriate
	to send him to God. Ariel no tamashii wa watashi ga ten ni 
	izanaimashou." (!!)
   Now go out of the Roppongi. The kekkai around it is gone. Go to a small 
 building to the north-east of it - the one you could not enter before, 
 because of kekkai. Fight your way down to B3. Shortly after arriving to B3, 
 you will meet a translucent figure:
   Ariel:
	"Remiel-kun. 
	 I came to ask you a favor. It seems that in the building, that used 
 	to be police headquarters, someone has activated the Robotic Policemen 
	Control System. 
   	 Stop that, please.
	 Having lost my life and not having a body, I can not do anything about
	it. 
 	 If you turn right here, you will arrive to the town of Ginza. If you
	go straight onwards, then you will get to the building, that used to 
	be police headquarters.  
         Please, Remiel, I beg you..."

   (Next time you will come to this square, instead of Ariel you will meet
 a Messiah Follower.)
   Messiah Follower:
	"I heard that the figure of Messiah was seen in this place and so I 
	came here. I prayed fervently, but Messiah did not appear again. 
	 Is my faith insufficient ?"
   Right in front of you lie crossroads. 
   To the right of it, as Ariel said, lies the road to the town of Ginzo.
   Straight ahead, there is an elevator which will take you upwards into what 
 used to be police building. 
   To the left there is a room, in which you will meet the man in the 
 wheelchair again:
   Man in the wheel-chair:
	"Ah, Remiel-kun, is not it ? You have survived, it seems. Was my 
	Devil Summoning Program useful ? By the way, isn't being only able 
	to summon up three demons at the same time very inconvinient ?"
   Say yes to the nice man. ;-)
   Man in the wheel-chair:
	"Ok. Now I fixed it, so that you can summon up to 4 demons at the 
	same time. See you later."
   Further on to the left, you will encounter Abdiel:
   Abdiel:
	"Oi, you look lively. I, too, got a lot of power. How about having
	a little match right here ?"
   If you answer yes, he says:
	"Ha-ha-ha. I was joking. By the way - one word of advice. Do not,
	under any circumstances, go further on this way in the direction of 
	Ikebukuro. I am saying this for your own sake. Please listen to me."
   He leaves. If you try to go on ahead, you will meet another man:
   Man:
 (LAW Alignment)
	"..."
   And he does not let you pass.
 (CHAOS Alignment)
	"Hey, I am not your enemy. I am looking for something nice..."
   And he lets you pass.
   From this point point onwards, game gets REALLY unlinear and as result it
 is a great pain in the neck to FAQ. ;-)
   Basically if you are following LAW path, you will have one kind of
 encounters and if you are following the path of CHAOS, you will have
 entirely different kind of encounters. And third set, if you still managed
 to hang on to NEUTRAL alignment. I tried to detail all of them.
     If you are following LAW Path, you want to end up at the main temple
 of Law faith in Shinagawa, past the Ginza.
     If you are following CHAOS Path, you want to end up at the main temple
 of Gaia faith in Ueno, past Ikeburuko.
     Strictly speaking from now on the order of difficulty of monsters and 
 bosses goes like this:

     Police Building -> Ginza -> Shinagawa -> Ikeburuko -> Ueno -> T.D.L
    
     This would be the natural way of storyline unfolds for LAW path, 
 so if you are LAW, that's the order you should do things in. 
     To CHAOS crowd, I reccomend doing:

     Police Building -> Ginza -> Ikeburuko -> Ueno -> T.D.L -> Shinagawa

     A _hardcore_ CHAOS crowd, of course, would do:
	
     Ikeburuko -> Ueno -> T.D.L. -> Police Building -> Ginza -> Shinagawa

     That would be natural way storyline unfolds for CHAOS path, but don't 
 tell me, that I didn't warn you. ;-) It isn't for the faint of heart - your 
 levels shouldn't be anywhere high enough yet for Ikeburuko - even simple 
 random encounters there will wipe the floor with you forwards, backwards 
 and sideways.
     Basically the bottom line is - if you are playing LAW, you need to 
 agree to help Ariel and slay Ikedona in T.D.L. 
     If you are playing CHAOS, you need to agree to help Ikedona and then
 slay Haniel in Shinagawa. 
     If you are playing NEUTRAL, you need to refuse both Ikedona and Haniel,
 slay them both and then talk to the old man on B3 of Ginza. 
     Once you have achieved that, then start reading the section below that
 corresponds to the alignment you've chosen for yourself.

		  	THE SHOWDOWN - PATH OF LAW 
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
   ...and finally the huge towering body of Jashin Ikedona comes crashing down
 into whatever abyss it rose from. You can leave T.D.L. freely. 
   Now return to Shinagawa, where Ariel is waiting. Once you enter the room
 where he waits for you, he speaks:
   Ariel:
	"You've slain Ikedona ?
   	 Haniel-sama, Remiel-kun did it !"
   Haniel:	
	"Well done, Re-Miel !
	 Shall you, then, use your abilities for God from now on ? For 
	Thousand Year Kingdom ?"
   Haniel:
	"Then you may come to the Cathedral. I will create a bridge for 
	you..."
   He disappears. Ariel speaks to you again:
	"That went well, didn't it ?
	 Haniel-sama was pleased too. 
	 Well then - until we meet again..."
   With that he too leaves.
   Now exit Shinagawa. You will see that a huge bridge has appeared to the 
 East. Cross the bridge and you will, at last, enter the isle of the 
 Cathedral. Enter the building at the bottom of the hill. You will find 
 yourself at the ground floor of Cathedral. 
   Go around a little, explore - but don't go directly north just yet - 
 Ariel is waiting there and a major plot advancement will happen. 
 Once you finished exploring, before seeing Ariel, wrap up all your 
 business on the mainland - if you wanted to level up a bit or track 
 down those Memory Boards or just explore - now it the time to do it. 
   Once you are finished, we are ready for the big one. 
   Go and see Ariel now. 
   Ariel:
	"Remiel ! 
	 Welcome to the Cathedral - the Holy Land of Messiah faith. 
	God's Thousand Year Kingdom will soon become reality. 
	But many demons have managed to creep into the Cathedral. 
	With the Cathedral in such a state, we can not just expect
	God to descend here."

   (If you have not yet defeated Shiten-Ou (Four Kings of Heaven))

	"By the way, there are still in Tokyo some insolent creatures
	who oppose the will of God. They are 4 Oni (type of demon), who 
	call themselves Shiten-Ou. They live at northern, western, 
	southern and eastern ends of Tokyo. 
	 Remiel-kun !
	 Please exterminate Shiten-Ou. 
	 Me, I can not presently be separated from Cathedral." 

   Well, if you haven't done it yet, now is the time to go back to Tokyo 
 and deal with them. 

   (If you have defeated Shiten-Ou (Four Kings of Heaven))

   Ground shakes. 
	"Ah. At long last the wrath of God is given to Earth... 
	City of Tokyo, overflown with evil forces - its shape will
	forever vanish from this world...
	 It will be good, if you were to ascertain with your own eyes, 
	what has became of Tokyo."  (Indeed, we wonder what... <eg> - Re-Miel)
   Well, go out of the Cathedral. You will see that you can no longer 
 use bridge to get back to mainland. 
   How are you supposed to find out what happened to Tokyo then ?
   Well, you will need something that can swim, wouldn't you ?
   If you haven't done it yet, go back into the Cathedral and find the 
 room with Octopus in it.  
   Octopus:
	"Please help me. I am completely drying up locked up in here.  
	 I did not do anything bad. 
	 Help me, I beg you. " 
   Say yes. You will hear voice of Messiah follower: 
	"Hey, you, what do you think you are doing in there ?" 
   Messiah follower appears:
	"This thing is an agent of evil demons. It has to be sacrificed in 
	God's name. If that does not bring one happiness, what else could 
	possibly do ?"
   You are asked, whether you want to save the Octopus no matter what. 
   Say yes. He speaks:
	"Are you saying that we must not do any pointless killing ?
	 ...
	 I understand. We will stop the sacrifices. 
	 You take take this thing with you wherever you want."
   You go back to the cell. Octopus speaks you:
	"You... You saved my life...
	 Now that I look at you, you do seem mighty tasty...
  	 But because you saved me, I am not going to eat you.
	 Whenever you want to meet me, use this flute.
	 But I am not going to come ashore ever again." 
   Well, that's helpful. 
   Now go to where bridge to Tokyo was. You will automatically use 
 'Tako no fue' (Octopus Flute). Octopus will appear. He will tell you 
 that you can ride on him above the sea.
   Now you can explore the landscape. Well, what's left of it. You see, 
 Tokyo has been sunk below the sea. Swim all over the place, until a message
 will pop up. It should tell you, that Tokyo megalopolis has sunk to the 
 bottom of the sea.
   Well, that pretty much counts for ascertaining as to what became of 
 Tokyo. Return to Cathedral now. Go and speak to Ariel.
   Ariel: 
	"Aaah... Remiel-kun... Well, you are safe and that is what's 
	important.
	 One troublesome thing happened though. In the Tokyo Government
	Office, in Shinjuku, Majin Vishnu is right now is serious trouble
	fighting Tenma Raavana. Unless Raavana is defeated, God will 
	not descend unto the Cathedral. 
	 Please, help Vishnu. 
	 Remiel, you are the only one I can rely on to do it. Please."
   Now you go out of the Cathedral and swim to the Shinjuku area, to the 
 huge scyscraper building, which used not to have an entrance. That's 
 Tokyo Government Office.  
   Once you enter it, you find yourself on 32nd Floor. There will be two
 elevators leading upwards. Enter left elevator first. It will take you  
 to 45th floor. Then you have to fight your way up to 48th. There, you 
 will find the room with Vishnu.
   Vishnu: 
	"Oooh ! You, most certainly, are a human most worthy to have  
	my power bestown upon you. We shall fight together to consign
	Raavana to oblivion. Doing that, we shall open the road for God
	into that most splendid Cathedral."
   Then he joins your party.
   Now go back to the 32 floor and take _right_ elevator up to 45th floor.
   Fight your way up to 48th floor. There is a room there, where 
 Tenma Raavana is waiting. Enter it.
   Raavana: 
	"So to fight with me, you have gained the support of Vishnu. 
	More and more interesting. Let's play." 
   And then you fight Tenma Raavana. If you beat him, he says: 
	"Once again, I perish without having defeated Vishnu-shin....." 
   He dies. 
   Then Tenma Endorajitto shows up. 
	"Wait ! Murderers of my father, Raavana ! I will not let you 
	escape..." 
   You fight Tenma Endorajitto. If you beat him, he says: 
	"Re..regret..."
   And then he perishes. 
 Now go back to Cathedral and to Ariel. You will find him gone and where 
 he used to be, a Messia follower stands.
   Messia Follower:
	"Because of all the wandering demons, it's still dangerous out 
	this way. The Messiah, Ariel, has went in there as well. He stil 
	hasn't came back...
	 I am not going to stop you, but if you go there please do 
	take care."
  
  (If you are going the other way - from the rest of cathedral into this 
 part of it, he will say:
	"Here is the camp for the Messiah followers, who entered 
	the Cathedral. Difine protection of our Lord shields it 
	from the hands of demons." ) 
   
   Now you can go in and explore the rest of the Cathedral. Take the closest
 to you staircase downwards to B1F and shortly you will arrive to a big 
 room in the middle of B1F. That is the Inner Sanctum of Cathedral. First 
 time you enter it, you will see Ariel inside:
 	"Remiel ! 
	 Horrible thing has happened. Abdiel-kun has activated the nuclear 
	reactor of the Cathedral... 
	 And then the Chaos army, led by Tenma Ashura-Ou, has occupied the 
	B8F of Cathedral...
	 Mikael-sama is very, very troubled by this situation too - he 
	really took it to heart. He is currently staying on the highest 
	floor of the Cathedral. 
	 To take back the Cathedral from demons, we MUST defeat Ashura-Oh..."
   With that he is gone and you are left to cope with the situation all on 
 your lonesome. Now you can explore the rest of the Cathedral. The place is 
 very big, so here is how it is structured out:

	1F:
   Level is split in two parts - the southern half, in which Messiah 
 followers made their camp and the northern half, which is occupied by 
 Gaia followers. There are a number of staircases leading down to B1F and 
 one staircase leading up to 2F.
   To follow the way the game does it, I will refer to the camp of 
 Messiah followers as Cathedral-Law and the camp of Gaia followers as 
 Cathedral-Chaos. 

	B1F:
   This is a large levelel which is interlinked with 1F with many staircases.
 In the centre of the the level is the Inner Sanctum. 
   There is one staircase leading down to B2F. 

	2F-8F:
   Upper floors of the Cathedral, occupied by the forces of Law. 
   2F-4F each have room, just near the staircase up, where a Seraph is waiting
 for you. At the very topmost floor, 8F, is  Daitenshi Michael.

	B2F-B8F:
   Lower floors of the Cathedral, occupied by the forces of Chaos. 
   B2-B4 each have a room, just near the staircase down, where Maou waits for
 you. At the very bottom, on the B8F, is Tenma Ashura-Oh.
 
   You can go wherever you want within the Cathedral now, but the natural 
 unfolding of the plotline goes
 	8F, Ariel -> Angel Ring -> B8F, Ashura-Ou -> Roof of the Cathedral 
   So, to save you trouble, I suggest that first you head upwards and get 
 to see what Ariel and Daitenshi Michael are up to. 
   On the way up, make sure you meet the Seraphs - on each of the 2F-4F
 you will find a room with one. 
   On 2F, you meet the shining form of Seraph Uriel.
   Uriel:
	"Heroes, fighting for God ! Drive away the wicked things 
	from Cathedral and bring the light to Earth... 
	 I'll lend my strength to you..."
   Seraph Uriel joins the party. (Seraphs are nice, no ? <g> - Re-Miel)
   Once you stop dancing in ecstasy over that fact, continue your journey 
 upwards. On 3F, you will come upon a room where Seraph Gabriel waits 
 for you.
   Gabriel:
	"Remiel ! Eleanor ! 
	 You are the new Adam and Eve ! 
	 We are now but a breath away from the moment when Thousand Year 
	Kingdom descens upon Earth. 
	 Your path is overflown with light. With the powers I carry, 
	I will give even more light to you..."
   Seraph Gabriel joins the party.
   Adam and Eve, huh ?
   Well, further on upwards you march. Next, in the room on 4F, you will 
 meet the third Seraph - Raphael. 
   Raphael:
	"Ooh ! Remiel ! Trustworthy human child, overflowing with 
	the power of LAW !
	 Congratulations on coming this far. 
	 Will the destruction and the slaughter that repeat each other 
	at the end of every century never stop...? I will accompany you 
	until the peace is restored to Earth..."
   Seraph Raphael joins the party.
   Now exit the 4F of Cathedral onto the plateu on the top of the hill.
   Go to the building to the South of you. Enter it. You will re-enter 
 the 4F only in different section. Now fight your way all the way up 
 to 7F. At some point on 7F you will come upon a closed door. Then you 
 will hear a voice of Law Hero:
	"Come. Open the door and come inside." 
 Listen to the nice man and  pass through the door. Shortly you will come 
 upon a staircase to 8F. Ascend. On the 8F, there will be a room, in which 
 you will see Ariel.
   Law Hero:
	"Humans, who were created by God, have finally managed to destroy 
	themselves. In a ruined world things of Chaos are delighting in
	confusion and panic of humanity. 
	 But God did not give up on humanity yet. God's compassion will 
	save humans from the abyss of despair. He is giving us a second 
	chance, a chance to start all over again. That is God's help to us -
	Thousand Year Kingdom. A world into which would come an eternal 
	peace in the name of God. 
	 For that to happen two things were needed - the Messiah Faith, 
	which would worship the Lord and the Cathedral, into which 
	God would descend.
      	 There is only one way to take back the Cathedral from the  
	claws of demons - and that is to defeat Ashura-Ou. But to get
	to where Ashura-Ou is, you need an Angel Ring. Mikael Sama says
	that Angel Ring can be created by fusing three Seraph angels 
	together. 
	 But where would you go to do such a fusion ?"
   Where indeed...
   (At this stage, you should be really happy that you are playing this
 with a walkthrough.)
   Go all the way down to 1F and exit the Cathedral. Use Octopus and swim 
 to the North of Tokyo. There you will find a rooftop of one of the 
 buildings that you can enter. 
   Inside, after a very simple dungeon, you will enter a room with a strange
 old man and some fusion equipment. 
   He will proceed to fuse the three Seraph together into the Angel Ring 
 for you. Once he had done that and you have obtained the Ring, return 
 to the Cathedral. 
   Now you have what you need to go donw and face Ashura-Ou. Get your items
 together, fuse your best demons (Can you find how to fuse Seraphs 
 manually ? Because you can now... <g> - Re-Miel) and once you are ready
 go to B1F and find that one staircase down to B2F. And start descending. 
   On the B2F, near the staircase down, is the room where Maou Suruto is 
 waiting for you. 
   When you enter, he speaks:
	"Humans... 
	 A puppets made by God... And poorly-made too...
	 Your destiny, in the end, was to perish here. 
	 I will give a requiem to your imminent destruction..."
   You fight Maou Suruto. If you beat him, he says: 
	"I was the one....who received a requiem...from the poorly
	made... puppets of God..." 
   He dies. You continue your journey into the depths under the Cathedral. 
 In one of the rooms of B3F you will be met with maniacal laughter as 
 majestic form of Maou Astaroth manifests in front of you. 
   Astaroth:
 	"Ho-ho-ho-ho ! You pitiful lambs, who blindly obey the summons of 
	God ! Prepare yourself !" 
   Then you fight Maou Astaroth. If you beat him, he whispers: 
	"Just a little bit more... and I would have... regained the form 
	of Ishtar...
	 Re...regret..." 
   (<sniff> <sob> What are you doing, killing one of my fauvorite 
 characters after Lui ? - Re-Miel)
   Ah, well. Continue downwards. On B4F, in the room near the staircase 
 Maou Arioch awaits you. As you enter, he speaks: 
   Arioch:
	"Ah. Here come the smart-alec humans ! Feel the teeth of 
	my revenge !" 
   Then you fight Maou Arioch. If you beat him, he says: 
	"It only appeared to be human power... How could it have exceeded 
	the sharpness of my teeth... 
	 So foolish..."
   B5F is pretty uneventful, but on B6F you will meet my fauvoritest 
 character again. He does tend to turn up in the strangest places...
   Lui Cypher: 
	"Long time no see. What's a nice bunch like you doing in a 
	place like this ? 
	 You intend to defeat Ashura-Oh ? 
	 There is nice little something on the island to the west. If 
	you do not get your hands on it, there is no way you are going
	to defeat Ashura-Ou..."
   (Note: I presume he is talking about the encounter with Beelzebub, 
 on the island just left of Cathedral. If so, it is NOT necessary to 
 do that to defeat Ashura-Ou. He is merely lying, in order to get you
 killed at hands of Maou Beelzebub.)
   So, calmly continue downards. Here, you run into what normally is 
 a locked door beyond which you can not pass. 
   However right now, Abdiel is standing there and Ariel is lying motionless
 at his feet. Abdiel speaks. 
   Chaos Hero:
	"Take a good look ! At my feet, defeated, lies Ariel. Look at 
	him now ! 
	 Pitiful end for the powerless justice. 
	 Almost like me in the old days...
	 Justice never gives you power. Because the power IS the justice.
	 Let's go, Remiel !"
   Then, at last, you fight him. Choujin Chaos Hero.  
   If you defeat him, he falls down and whispers: 
	"So has my end came too ? 
	 And after all of this, I still could not defeat you, Remiel...
	 All I ever wanted was to gain power, that surpassed even god...
	 That was my dream... Bad dream...? No... good dream..."
   Those were the last words of Chaos Hero and that was his end.
   Chaos Heroine shows up. 
   Chaos Heroine:
	"You've slain Abdiel ? So do you calmly kill your friends now ?" 
   She turns into Yuriko/Lilith. 
	"I am Lilith." 
   And then you fight her. If you defeat her, she speaks: 
	"Honestly, me and you should have became the new Adam and Eve. 
	 But instead, I was kept away from you... 
	 So I....  kidnapped... your important person...
 	 But even that was useless..." 
   Lilith dies, leaving behind the Belial bottle. If you are wondering 
 about that, it can be fused with Renki no Ken to form Karyuu-Ken, insanely
 powerful, but female-only sword.
   Now, the Angel Ring will shine and the door will open. Shortly afterwards
 you will see the staircase to B8F. 
   Descend. 
   Well, the end is almost upon us. Behind the door right in front of you 
 Tenma Ashura-Oh awaits. Pass through it and face your destiny...
   Ashura-Oh: 
	"And so at last you are here, oh great heroes fighting for God ! 
	 You have come here having trampled over the corpse of your 
	former friend, Abdiel ! I can see it written on your face !
	 I will send you straight to meet your friend !"
   And then you fight Tenma Ashura-Oh. He is _tough_. I hope, for your sake, 
 you got the hang of that fusion thing.   
   If you beat him, he says:
	 "...Just a bit more.. Just a little bit more... and I could have 
	destroyed... God's Thousand Year Kingdom.... 
	 I would have held the Cathedral... in these hands of mine...  
	Maybe Dai-Maou Lusipher-sama would have... even noticed me...."
   The lifeless form of one of the greatest demons in Makai crashes at your
 feet. Suddenly you hear voice: 
   Voice: 
	"Well done. Now then, come to me..." 
   You are teleported to 8F. There is only one door there, enter it. 
   You emerge onto the roof of the Cathedral. From that place - the 
 highest place in the world - you see the sun rising over the new world. 
 Before you stands the God's Messenger, the one from the beginning 
 of the game. He speaks:
   God's Messenger:
	"Well done ! Truly well done !
	 And do not fear for your friend Ariel...
	 He is now enjoying the time of happiness by the side of the Lord.	
	 But people who remain on Earth are still, even now, lost in pain 
	and suffering... The two of you must save them. 
	 Because _you_ are _The Messiah_...
	 For once it is done, then, surely, it shall begin...
	 The future... The unending, undying, immortal future...
	 The world full of bliss, full of happiness...
	 The eternal paradise, ruled by God...
	 THE THOUSAND YEAR KINGDOM !"
   Then the credits roll. In between credits you will see various scenes
 from the game:

   Yuriko:
	"I just wanted to meet you one more time..."

	 I can still hear it echoing in my ears...

	 Every one of them will be reborn into this world, sooner or later...
	 Just like I was...
	 The time of the destruction is over. 
	 It is now the time of the creation."
   
   That's it. Kick back in the chair, pat yourself on the back, grin from 
 ear to ear - you have cleared the best RPG there is. 
   Unless, of course, you are just reading the walkthrough without actually
 playing the game. In which case stop being a cheapskate and go buy the 
 original SFC cart _NOW_ ! <grin> You will thank yourself for it afterwards !

		  	THE SHOWDOWN - PATH OF CHAOS

	"... Ah, it seems that you have already brought down that 
	Angel, Haniel. 
	 Thank you most kindly.
	 Then I will create a bridge to Cathedral for you. Go south, once 
	exit this place..."
   As Chiboshin Ikedona finishes speaking, you understand that you are 
 dismissed. Well, exit T.D.L. and look south - you will see a long bridge
 there. Take it and you will enter the Cathedral Island from north. 
   Enter the yellow building to the west of the bridge. You will find
 yourself on the ground floor of the Cathedral.
   Going directly forward from the entrance (i.e. to south) will trigger
 a major plot advancing sequence, so explore the areas to the left and right
 of the entrance first. Equip, heal, fuse demons, etc. 
   All right. Now is the big one. Make sure you got everything you wanted
 to do in the mainland Tokyo done -  if you wanted to level up a bit or 
 track down those Memory Boards or just explore - now it the time to do it. 
   Once you are finished, we are ready for the big one. 
   Go back to the entrance and head straight south from it.
   You will see Abdiel and Rie standing in front of a door:
   Chaos Hero:
	"Remiel... 
	 Finally, you come here... 
	 It was a very close call... Just a little bit more and the Cathedral 
	would have been completed. But they did not quite have it their 
	own way. Large numbers of demons have entered the Cathedral now.  
	With the whole place in such a state, it is no longer possible to 
	call God down into it. Now all that's left to do is to dispose 
	of the agents of God and their dirty little schemes. Once that's 
	done, the Cathedral will be turned into a Citadel of Chaos..."

   (If you haven't dealt with Shiten-Ou yet)
	
	"By the way - I will tell you something nice. Have you heard of 
	Shiten-Ou (Four Kings of Heaven) ?"

   If you answer no, he continues:
	"Bishamon-Ten in the North, Jikoku-Ten in the East, Koumoku-Ten
	in the South, Zouchou-Ten in the West - they are the Shiten-Ou,
	who guard Tokyo from all four directions." 
   Then he continues, as if you would hace answered yes. 

   If you answer yes, he says:
	"Ah. In that case I will make it quick. You need to go and meet 
	with them. In order to test your strength." 

   If you come and see him again, without having dealth with Shiten-Ou, 
 he will say:
	"It seems some Shiten-Ou still remain. Tokyo is not worth 
	guarding any more - what's going to happen to Shiten-Ou, 
	if we don't release them..."
 
   (If you have already dealt with Shiten-Ou)

	"What was that ? What on Earth just happened...
	 Please, can you go and take a look at what just happened to 
	Tokyo for me ?"
   (I wonder what indeed. ;-P -Re-Miel)
   Go out of the Cathedral and you will see that both bridges to the island
 the Cathedral is on are sunk under the water now. Hmm. How are we supposed
 to check out the Tokyo then ?
   Well, we need something that can swim in the Sea. 
   Like... a Turtle ? ;-)
   Go back to the room with the Turtle in Cathedral-Chaos and, if you 
 haven't done it yet, choose to save it. You will hear a voice:
    Trader's voice:
	"Wait just a second ! What do you think you are doing ?"
   You come outside and face the trader:
   Trader:
	"Are you trying to steal away my profits ? 
	 I absolutely refuse to give you the tur...
	 Ugh... Oh... Nice weapons you have there.
	 Erm.. Want that turtle ?
	 I wi-wi-will give it t-t-t-o you. Please, please..."
     Go back to the turtle.
   Turtle:
	"You have saved me ! 
	 Thank you very much ! 
	 In return, I will give you this. If you use it, I will always 
	come to your call. See ya ! 
	 And now I am going to hurry back to the seas..."
   You get Turtle Bell.
   Right. Now go out of the Cathedral and try to walk into the water. You 
 wil automatically ring the Turtle Bell. The Turtle appears:
   Turtle:
	"If you need to get somewhere over the water, leave it to me..."
   Basically, now, every time you want to go anywhere, you can use the Turtle 
 to swim around the water.
   Now you can explore the landscape. Well, what's left of it. You see, 
 Tokyo has been sunk below the sea. Swim all over the place, until a message
 will pop up. It should tell you, that Tokyo megalopolis has sunk to the 
 bottom of the sea.
   Well, that pretty much counts for taking a look at what happened to 
 Tokyo. Return to Cathedral now and speak to Abdiel.
   Chaos Hero:
	"It seems that this Great Flood was an act of God. With the power
	of Shiten-Ou gone, there was nothing left to protect Tokyo...
	 If we didn't capture the Cathedral, we would have been cold
	and dead at the bottom of the sea, just like everyone else
	in Tokyo... 
	 By the way, something very bothersome is happening right now 
	in the Tokyo Government Office of Shinjuku. Tenma Raavana, who is 
	triyng to prevent the coming of God, is being attacked by 
	Majin Vishnu. The battle between them has been raging for a very
	long time now. Please help Raavana and slay Vishnu..."
   Now you go out of the Cathedral and swim to the Shinjuku area, to the 
 huge scyscraper building, which used not to have an entrance. That's 
 Tokyo Government Office.  
   Once you enter it, you find yourself on 32nd Floor. There will be two
 elevators leading upwards. Enter left elevator first. It will take you  
 to 45th floor. Then you have to fight your way up to 48th. There, you 
 will find the room with Vishnu.
   Vishnu:
	"You, being a mere human, dare to stand in my way ? 
	 Who are you - the Avatar of Raavana ?"
   You fight the Majin Vishnu. If you defeat him, he says:
	"Not to God... not to a demon.. not even to the Avatar of 
	Ravaana... I lost to a mere human..."
   Now go back to the 32 floor and take the _right_ elevator up to the 
 45th floor. Fight your way up to 48th floor. There is a room there, where 
 Tenma Raavana is waiting. Enter it.
   Raavana:
	"I will become your Ally and fight by your side to smash 
	the God's conspiracy..."
   Now go back to Cathedral and to Abdiel. You will find him gone and 
 where he used to be, a Gaia follower stands.
   Gaia Follower:
	"Out that way is full of demons. If you go there, we can't
	guarantee your safety... Or even your life..."

   (...and when you are going the other way - entering Cathedral-Chaos
    as opposed to leaving it.)
	"This is the camp where all those who came to take over the 
	Cathedral gather. 
	 No one is going to turn you away from here, but be warned -
	this isn't a place to take it easy...
   Proceed inside. In the immediate area there are two staircases. One
 is right near the entrance you have just walked through, the other is
 much more westward. Take the one closer to you. You will descend to B1.
 Shortly afterwards you come to a big door and you are asked whether
 you want to enter Cathedral's Inner Sanctum. 
   Choose yes. 
   Inside, you will see Abdiel and Rie.
   Chaos Hero:
	"That Ariel idiot became an agent of God... He has finally 
	activated the Cathedral's nuclear reactor. And to make the 
	matters even worse, Daitenshi Michael has came to the 8th 
	floor of the Cathedral. And he brought a group of high rank 
	angels with him.
	 And although Ashura-Oh occupied the B8F of the Cathedral,
	those LAW guys are still planning to summon the God down here.
	No matter who is in the Cathedral at the moment. Before that
        happens, I will have to deal with Michael. 
	 Let's go Rie !"
   Chaos Heroine:
	"........"
   They leave and you are left on your lonesome to cope with the 
 situation.

   Go back to 1F and find that staircase leading to 2F. Ascend it and 
 explore 2F. Near the staircase upwards, you will find a room with a 
 shining, radiant figure in it. Seraph Uriel. 
   Uriel:
	"You, who are enveloped by the wicked darkness ! 
	 Vanish, together with that darkness, from the face of the Earth !"
   You fight Seraph Uriel. If you defeat him, he speaks... 
   Uriel:
	"To the God of Law... and to the God's Thousand Year Kingdom... 
	Glory be..."
   With these words, he dies.
   Ah, well. He only was an Angel of the Lord. <g>
   Continue upwards to 3F. There you will find a room in which Seraph
 Gabriel awaits you.
   Gabriel:
	"So you have came...
	 You, who fell prey to the temptations of demons and sunk into 
	the depths of depravity...
	 Sinful humans !
	 Repent your _mortal_ sin !"
   You fight Seraph Gabriel. He is immune to swords and can only be hit 
 by guns and magic. He _is_ tough. 
   If you beat him, he says:
   Gabriel:
	"Da... Daitenshi Michael will wreak upon you the vengeance
	of Heaven..."
   Well, we'll see about that. Continue upwards. On 4F, in the room near
 the staircase you will be confronted by a majestic figure of Seraph Raphael.
   Raphael:
	"Foolish creatures ! 
	 Do you intend to continue the massacre ? To keep on piling a body 
	after a body in your wake ?
	 Remiel ! Covered in blood, cursed human child !
   You fight Seraph Raphael. If you defeat him, he speaks. 
	"...I fall here, slain... 
	 ...but the Thousand Year Kingdom will soon come upon Earth..."
   And so, the three Seraphs have perished. And you continue your journey.
 Now exit the 4F of Cathedral onto the plateu on the top of the hill.
   Go to the building to the South of you. Enter it. You will re-enter 
 the 4F only in different section, unaccessible from the main section 
 of it. 
   Now fight you way all the way up to 7F. There, you will run into a closed
 door. And in front of it you will see Abdiel and Rie.  
   Chaos Hero:
	"Shit ! Whatever I do, the door will not open...
	 Do I not have the power in me to open it...?"
   Chaos Heroine:
	"There _is_ power in you. Calm down, Abdiel. There must be some
	way to do it."
   Chaos Hero:
	"Remiel, you came here too...
	 As you can see, we are in a bit of a trouble. If only we could 
	open this door, Daitenshi Michael is just beyond it."
   Ah, well. So it's not as easy as just walking up to Michael and 
 saying 'Hi !'. 
   Well, didn't Abdiel mention that a big and powerful CHAOS demon, 
 Ashura-Ou, took over B8F of Cathedral. 
   Maybe we should go and see if he can help us... 
   Get back to B1F, find the staircase to B2F and start descending 
 downards. 
   On B2F, you will find a room where Maou Suruto awaits you.
   Suruto:
	"This Cathedral will soon fall into the hands of CHAOS army.
	Your work was splendid.
	 There is a passion and desire in you, humans. Where is 
	the merit in repressing them to achieve 'peace'...?
	 Ashura-Oh, who leads armies of Chaos, is expecting you..." 
   Well. Let's keep on going. Next, on B3F, near the staircase to B4F
 the maniacal laugh will announce the presence of one of my 
 fauvoritest characters. Maou Astaroth.
   Astaroth:
	"Ho-ho-ho-ho-ho. 
	 So _you_ are those brave humans, who are fighting against God.... 
	If you keep on winning then I, who was made into a Maou, may
	return to my true shape as well. 
	 Ho-ho-ho-ho-ho.
	 Brave human child ! Don't be caught up in the 'law' and 'order'
	that Messiah followers preach on about...

 Shin Megaten II. ;-) Meanwhile, you go further on downwards. On B4F, you 
 will encounter Maou Arioch.
   Arioch:
	"Ah, the humans, who threw themselves completely into the 
	fighting for the cause of CHAOS... 
	 How brave... 
	 Do not be lead astray by the agents of God."
   Once you descend down to the B6F, you will run into Mr. Lui Cypher, 
 my fauvoritest chara in Megaten games. <g>
   Lui Cypher:
	"Long time no see. What's a nice bunch like you doing in a 
	place like this ? 
	 I will tell you something nice. Maou Beelzebub has came to 
	the little island just to the west of here. If he were to 
	become your Ally, it would be rather reassuring."
   Then he disappears.
   When you get down to B7F, you will run into a door, in front of 
 which you will see Abdiel. 
   Chaos Hero:
	"Remiel ! You've got here ! Well done... Ashura-Ou is this way. 
	 By the way, Rie wants to talk to you."
   Rie turns up.
   Chaos Heroine:
	"...Remiel-san...
	 I am Lilith !"
   She turns into Lilith.
   Lilith:
	"Honestly, me and you should have became the new Adam and Eve. 
	 But instead, I was kept away from you... 
	 So I....  kidnapped... your important person...
 	 But even that was useless..." 
	 Forgive me... I will never come to bother you again...
	 Farewell, Remiel..."
   Lilith disappears, leaving Belial Bottle behind. 
   Chaos Hero:
	"So, that girl was Lilith... 
	 Shit... Tricked by that woman again... 
	 Say, so I was just a way to get close to Remiel ? 
	 I feel somewhat sick...
	 Ah, well. Ashura-Ou wants to meet you - hurry up ! 
	 Me ? Just leave me alone for a little while...".
   <sniff> <sniff> I liked Lilith. Mean Atlus. Why didn't they let you have 
 _her_ as your Partner on the Chaos Path...
   Ah, well, we are almost there. go through the door, descend to B8F and 
 very shortly you will locate the throne room of Ashura-Ou.
   Ashura-Ou:
	"Remiel ! 
	 I am Tenma Ashura-Oh. 
	 In order to consign to oblivion God's Thousand Year Kingdom, 
	I have led the demons of Chaos to capture this Cathedral.
	 Originally the plan was to destroy the Cathedral, but our side 
	is already in full control of about half of it. 
	 I think, that we should continue and make all of the Cathedral 
	ours. I will give this place to Gaia followers, so that they can
	make it into a Great Temple of Gaia.
	 All the ancient gods, who were once demoted to demons by 
	the God of Law, will be worshipped in it equally.
	 But to get Cathedral in our hands, we first need to send Michael 
	to the oblivion. 
	 Now that you know, what needs to be done, would choose to 
	accept it ? Remiel !
	 To get to where Michael is, you will need a Devil Ring.
	 Get something from Arioch, then Astaroth and then finally from 
	Suruto and then come here."
   Right. So that's what needs to be done to open that door. Teleport out. 
 Go and recruit Beelzebub if you wish. 
   Now you have to go through B2-B4 again and obtain that 'something' from 
 the three Maou.  
   On B2F, Maou Suruto:
	"So...
	 Fearless human, you wish for the Suruto's claw...
	 You hold a great magical power within you. I will give you my claw..."
   You receive "Suruto no tsume" (Claw of Suruto).
   On B3F, Maou Astaroth: 
	"If you keep on winning then I, who was made into a Maou, may
	return to my true shape as well. 
	 Ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho.
	 You want my wings, you say...
	 I can not possibly refuse the wish of the one, who fights 
	against God. 
	 Ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho."
   You receive 'Astaroth no Hane'. (Wings of Astaroth)
   On B4F, Maou Arioch:
	"What ? You want Arioch's fang ??
	 I see...
	 I wouldn't ask you what you need it for..."
   You receive 'Arioch no Kiba'. (Fang of Arioch)
   Now proceed to B8 and see Ashura-Oh again:
   Ashura-Oh:
	"Oo ! So all three items have been obtained. 
	 Now I will transform them into Devil Ring."
   You get Devil Ring.
   Ashura-Oh:
	"With this the road to where Michael is now open for you.
	 However, the Devil Ring is the origin of power of all demons. 
	Beware, truly beware of using it too much too often. 
	 I trust you with the rest of it, Remiel !"
   Now you are finally ready to pay a visit to Daitenshi Michael. 
 Prepare the items, fuse the best demons you can, make your will, 
 say your last prayers and then carry on with this walkthrough. <g> 
   Go up through the B7 of the Cathedral. At the locked door, that stopped 
 you before, you will encounter Abdiel.
   Chaos Hero:
	"Remiel, you came here too...
	 As you can see, we are in a bit of a trouble. If only we could 
	open this door, Daitenshi Michael is just beyond it."
	 Oo ! You have the Devil Ring ?! Give that to me for a second !"
   Abdiel snatches the Devil Ring from your hands and puts it on.
   Chaos Hero:
	"...Oooh ! 
	 The..the power... the power is rushing through me...
	 Uooo !"
   The door opens.
   Chaos Hero:
	"Wa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha ! 
	 I opened it without any effort at all ! It's wonderful ! 
	 Wa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha ! 
	 So much power is rushing through me !
	 Ha-ha-ha-ha ! I now.. ha-ha-ha... will not be...ha-ha-ha-ha
	defeated...ha-ha...by anyone ! Ha-ha-ha.. I got the power...ha-ha
	that surpasses...ha-ha-ha...even God himself.. Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha !
	 Eh ? Wha-what ?? My... my body... my body...	
	 Aaaaaaaaargghhh !"
   Something happens to Abdiel and his body vanishes. 
   Ariel appears.
   Law Hero:
	"...Looks like the creature, that was thirsting for power, has 
	finally came to its pitiful ending.
	 Pitiful. But it's a natural retribution. For he always kept defying 
	the true will of the god...
	 And now Remiel, it's your turn now.
	 You too have defied the God and you too will meet your ending here.
	 I truly regret that it all has turned out like this.
	 With this, we part for all eternity. 
	 Farewell !"
   You fight Choujin Law Hero. If you beat him, he speaks:
   Law Hero:
	 "Is..is this.. God's... will... That I die... again ?...
	 Was... was I not...the one... who was chosen... by God ?...
	 Given to the God...was I not...?
	 I... I see...
	 Was I nothing more... than a sacrifice ?"
   He dies. You can pass beyond the door now. Very shortly you will find 
 yourself on 8F. It's small. And there, finally, you will enter the room 
 where the fearful figure of Daitenshi Michael, radiating the wrath of God, 
 is standing before you.
   Michael:
	"So you came here at last...	
	 Looks like I, Daitenshi Michael, will have to personally take 	
	a hand in this...
	 You, who sold his soul to demons !
	 You, who spit into the helping hand of God !
	 You, who stands in the way of the Thousand Year Kingdom !
	 You, fake Messiah !
	 There is now way you can be allowed to live. 
	 Burn in the flames of Hell !"
   That's your cue to fight Seraph Michael. He is __TOUGH__. 
   If you defeat him, he whispers:
	"...Lord...
	 I, Daitenshi Michael, couldn't summon the power... Couldn't 
	match him...
	 Forgive..."
   With this, the lifeless body of the Prince of Angels, right hand of God, 
 falls at your feet. 
   You find yourself in the hall beyond the throne room where the battle 
 took place. Before you is the staircase - take it and you will emerge 
 onto the roof of the Cathedral. From this, the highest point in the 
 world, you can see the night setting on the new world...
   Before you stands our old acquintance - Mr. Lui Cypher. 
   Lui Cypher:  
	"Well done, Remiel ! Well done !"
   Something starts shining... And before your eyes he transforms...
   ...into the shining six-winged form of Dai-Maou Lucipher. 
       (All right, -5 points to anyone who has not seen this coming. - Re-Miel)
   Lucipher:
	"God of Law...
	 His plan was stopped from becoming reality...
	 All the ancient gods, who once have Fell into the depths of Makai, 
	are ressurected...
	 The Golden Age is coming once again to Earth... 
	 The CHAOS, surely, is the way for the world to be !
	 Even stronger, even more beautiful things will be born 
	one after another...
	 Ever-lasting cycle of destruction and rebirth !
	 But the God of Law was not destroyed. 
	 He is the one who is the true Destroyer, the one who 
	brings silence unto the world...
 	 I, too, am nothing more than a part of him. 
	 Think human child ! Think well what does it mean...!"
   Then he take to the wing and flies off into the skies, the moon serving
 as the backdrop to this beautiful picture. 
   Then the credits roll. In between credits you will see various scenes
 from the game:

 playing the game. In which case stop being a cheapskate and go buy the
