This is the sequel to last year's card slinging, action RPG. This game takes place a couple hundred years after your first trip through the land of Argwyll. This time you play the role of a young woman in a group of thieves. You are the muscle of the group because you are the owner of a powerful Runestone and a deck of cards which summon guardian creatures. In fact you need these creatures to do your work for you. Their jobs range from healing cards, to independent creatures, to powerful summoning attacks. This time around you must fight off a nation that has found a way to manufacture Runestones and has made their own macine cards to aid them in their dominating quest. The gameplay has been given a few additions this time around. There are no more random battles, cards can be combined to create combo attacks, the power of cards can be doubled at the press of a button, and there are over 100 new cards to be found. All in all, Lost Kingdoms II serves up a solid sequel that does well to please fans of the original.
