RPGClassics Earthbound Shrine

Earthbound is a quaint and highly enjoyable Super Nintendo RPG. Taking place in relative modernity, a band of four children discover that they have been tasked with saving the planet from the armies of the space invader Giygas. Using psychic powers as well as an assortment of baseball bats, frying pans, bottle rockets, and other commonplace items as weapons, the group will have to combat a variety of enemies, ranging from Sci-Fi robots and aliens even to the common wildlife and population (you have not lived until you have fought the New Age Retro Hippie). Other amusing features such as eating fast food to replenish your life and having to withdraw money from an ATM machine are more examples of the games kitschiness. Intentionally throwback graphics and a Dragon Warrior-inspired battle engine round out this cult-favorite of an RPG.
