You are Lloyd Irving, an orphan raised by a dwarf, who until now has been living a pretty ordinary life. Today is the day when your childhood friend, Colette, the Chosen of Mana, sets out on her journey to regenerate the world; to stop the depletion of Mana, which is its life force. As her friend, and sworn protector, you set out with her. But not everything is like it seems.

Tales of Symphonia is a Tales Game. It features the same Linear Battle Engine and several of the same items, spells, and monsters, as its predecessors; like all the games in the series. But it’s not just that, Tales of Symphonia is unique in respect to its graphics. It features a more or less unique blend of cell shading, polygonal backgrounds, and anime style cut scenes.

A Tales Game in all respects, but also Tales of Symphonia.
